Our water heater started spewing water all over and we had to turn the water supply off for the house until it was fixed. We were fortunate enough to have insurance and called up Homeserve.

PRO-They managed to get us an appointment first thing the next day (Sat) since we had no water. D. R. Sevacko showed up bright and early. They were prompt, professional and polite. Our water tank was replaced within an hour.

CON-We were not told when scheduling that as per new building codes we needed an additional expansion tank that costed $210 and they only take cash. Had we known, we would have obtained the money the night before. As it was, after they got here we had to run to the bank and withdrawl the cash. We thankfully got a receipt, because on MONDAY, we got a call from Lori claiming that we didnt pay it and she was calling to collect! Obviously, we were not happy, told her we paid and had a receipt (Photo below). Its up to her to get with the guys and find out where our cash went.

Otherwise, I would have given more stars than 3.

On Thursday 12/4/25 D R Sevacko Plumbing was contacted through our home warranty program, Oncourse/Pivotal Solutions, for a pipe with pinhole leaks in our basement. It was not an emergency situation but something that did need addressed. Sevacko plumbing contacted me that afternoon, I explained the situation and a service call with Cory was scheduled for the following day, Friday, in the AM. Cory contacted us when he was on his way. The pipe was replaced and everything was done professionally with respect and courtesy within 30 minutes at NC as it was covered under the home warranty company. We were very pleased with Cory's work and knowledge. I would recommend Sevacko Plumbing based on our experience.

Our hot water tank broke due to a leaky pipe. HomeServe sent Sevacko plumbing. They came out within 24 hours to fix the pipe and install a new tank and expansion unit in less than 2 hours. They were fast, efficient, and super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this company!

Water backed up in our basement drain when a shower was taken while washing clothes. I called Homeserve where I had plans and their rep, Wanda said it was covered and I would here from a plumbing company.
I about 10 minutes I received a call from Dave with D R Sevacko Plumbing. He set up a convenient time for the both of us and showed up right within the time frame window.
Dave and his helper, Brian were knowledgeable about the issue and had it resolved very quickly. They were also both very pleasant to deal with. You have my Thanks!

Super helpful customer service. Had some confusion with my order and they quickly helped to get everything sorted out.

BEWARE OF THEIR PRICES
I had my plumber order a hand sink with splashguard from a company called Ferguson. I paid for it over the phone.
The total was $759.67, which made me think he had ordered extra parts. But upon reviewing the bill, I realized that the price only covered the hand sink, which is three times the price than I’ve seen elsewhere. Furthermore, the sink didn’t have a splashguard.
I wanted to return the item and get back what I was looking for and they asked for a receipt. I provided a receipt and then they told me they needed the original box that it came in.
They also charge a 25% restocking fee plus an additional $25 for I don’t know what.
In summary, if you want to return a product, they will stall and throw many obstacles your way until 30 days passes, just so they don’t feel obligated to help you. They don’t care if the customer receives what he wants or not.
I WILL NOT use this company again.

The service is wonderful and the selection usually good. However, their web site doesn't necessarily reflect their inventory. I looked up one item online last night and the website said they had 1500 in stock. I went this morning and they were completely out.
