The guys did an excellent job with our sewer line. They were prompt, communicative, clean and reasonable. We would definitely recommend them and use them again!

Felt dishonest. Called them to repair a pinhole leak; the technician they sent out broke a valve while repairing the pinhole leak and they insisted that they charge me for the extra work to repair the valve (even though the technician admitted he'd broken it).

They initially told me there was a $60 visit fee that would be automatically taken off if I had them do the repair; their office also tried insisting that I pay the extra $60 fee and "didn't know anything about removing the charge".

The technician they sent kept insisting that rather than repairing the pinhole leak that we should get a whole-home water filtration system. I told him I appreciated the information but he kept shoving the upsell.

Left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Called to have toilet clog cleared. Lucas was very thorough, efficient and knowledgeable. Explained everything that was being done. Found the problem and completed the repair and drain clearing quickly. Double checked that everything was working properly before leaving. Thorough cleanup when finished.

Colin was on time, friendly and professional. He had no issue diagnosing and resolving the problem. He answered all my questions and offered practical advice. I’d happily recommend his services to anyone.

Colin was great. Very personable, quick, and efficient. He fixed the gas issue for my stove and then went out of his way to help me get my new fridge from my porch into my kitchen. He was great. I have had him before when we use Benjamin Franklin for my work as well. Hats off to Colin.

Lucas and Sam were very friendly and professional. They were on time and got right to it….explained what they needed to do and the price for service up front. They gave me updates throughout the service so there were no surprise expenses!! They also cleaned their work space up just the way it was when they arrived. Everything works great!! I will definitely call this company back for any future service needs!

Estimate for utility sink removal and replacement did a great job of breaking down the work entailed and the price point for each. Easy to understand. He was on time.
Installation went great. There was a small leak detected in one of the parts. Quickly got a new part and fixed at no extra cost. Colin did a great job of all the work requested over the past several days.

I would have rated higher if I could have. Matt was the best in home technician of any type I’ve seen. Explained everything clearly and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

They were within an hour and a half. The technician was professional and friendly, he even joked about the situation and others experiences which helped keep things calm for my wife. He stayed just under 2 hours to make sure my drain/sewer line was open. Thank you for a job well done

What great service from Joe, the plumber! He handled the job with skill and professionalism, yet stayed wonderfully modest throughout. We had our main sewer drain backup and Roto-Rooter was out to our house within the hour. The technician was very professional and got the drain cleared quickly. He didn't give me the run around like some companies have in the past. If you're having a plumbing issue, don't hesitate to call Roto-Rooter!

Ric did a great job. He showed up on time and was prepared. In addition, he was completely professional and answered all questions about the job and the price before he started working.

I discovered one afternoon that one of the outdoor drains connected to my gutter system was clogged. Called Roto-Rooter, which was able to schedule a drain clearing for the same day. Within a little more than an hour after I called, Matthew was at my door to take care of the problem. Matt was professional, courteous, and above all, went above and beyond to clear the drain. I live in a 100+ year old house that routinely presents unique challenges. Matt was undaunted, and he did what was necessary to clear the clog and ensure everything was working properly. Highly recommend.

Outstanding Service from Start to Finish!
From scheduling to completion, the entire experience was seamless. Communication was clear and prompt, and the technician, Codey, was exceptional. The repair was complex, but it was handled with great skill and attention to detail, ensuring a long-lasting result. After the work was done, the basement was left like nothing had ever happened. While it might have been cheaper elsewhere, the quality of the work and the excellent customer service made it well worth the investment!

Three things I would recommend you work on.

1. Was a little upset that I could not use my discount coupon and the price was more expensive than I was expecting but I guess it was worth it for the quality of service. The website was not very clear.

2. When they first arrived and I went to sign paperwork the first thing shoved in my face was a waver that said I would not shop around even though I have 3 days by law in PA. This was not a great first impression

3. When I went down in my basement I stepped on a brand new screw that was left by the tech.

Got to me in about an hour on a Sunday night. Joe was super nice and definitely went the extra mile with helping us figure out what we needed. The no cost evaluation made things so much easier.

Joe was super personable, with a great sense of humor that made the whole situation bearable. He explained everything before and during the process, alerted me to my options and the associated costs, and got a very tough job done expertly. (I say this because I come from a plumbing family and had already gone at it with a 50 foot auger myself.) 😉

Had a clogged outside drain that flooded the basement. Called at 4 pm was told technician would be here within the hour. He showed up at 8 pm. After two phones calls to find out where he was.He said it would be $400. He snaked the drain, problem solved. I told him I had a coupon, he said he was giving me $100 off which was a coupon for a main drain clog. Then he charged me $500 and gave me $100 off so it was still $400. Then, he said a technician would be out to send the camera down the drains to see if there was any other issues. After 2 weeks noone showed so I had to call them to schedule the appointment. The guy was suppose to come Saturday early between 8 and noon. Never showed. Called them, dispatcher said he was finishing up job then he would be here. 4 pm I called again he still had 2 jobs before mine. Canceled camera tech. What a trainwreck.. I hopefully will never need a plumber again, but if I do, it won't be them.....

This was my first time using roto rooter. Amazing! Not only did they get here same day that was so badly needed, they were on time, I was updated every step of the way. Mark was amazing. Not only did he fix the issue, he explained everything step by step as he was going. He was kind, he answered any questions we asked, the pricing amazing! None of that pay by the hour and not knowing what price you were getting into. They check the problem out let you know what it is and give you your total. Amazing service and this company will be the one I call for my plumbing from this day forward.
