Dakota is a great service person. On inspection trip he identified a major problem with our hvac unit. Then on a cold, windy day spent hours replacing a major part of he was quick to explain everything.
Hope he's our service man next time.

We always are happy to get Dakota to service our unit, and know that he will check everything carefully. He's always helpful, explaining everything, and makes sure to answer any question we might have. He's a super credit to Malone Heat & Air as an employee.

I was having issues with my condenser fan coming on after I had replaced it, I noticed a Malone truck across the street and called to see if they could come over after that job. The technician was very friendly, however it turns out I just had to leave the power turned on to the unit for 5 minutes because of the defrost timer. We turned the unit on, timed it, and sure enough it kicked on without any issues. Unfortunately I still had to pay the $85 service fee, but I'll just take that as a lesson learned.

Excellent experience, as usual. My first contact with Malone was in 1989 when they installed the entire HVAC system in my 1966 split level. They have serviced everything since. That house is now a rental property, and Malone also services the townhouse where I now live.

Today, One of their technicians, Jeff, inspected the duct system of the original rental house, using a flexible scope to check deep into multiple vents on each level and also thoroughly inspected the air handler. He was efficient, professional, and patiently answered all of my annoying questions. I recommend Malone without reservation.

I’d say they are ran like a corporation. Not a service company. They did a full install for me and it was “OK”. I had to have them out several times afterwards to fix a few things.
Thermostat restarting every 30 seconds because they put a drain switch in wrong and was res trying the thermostat. The condensate drain pump being set in a bad spot and leaking… the party set out for my outside unit was set on uneven ground and it cracked… honestly half this stuff and the next fifteen things they did wrong I just fixed myself and never complained about. I called them for warranty work and the guy that showed up was stoned out of his mind. He couldn’t find my indoor unit ….he said “I can’t figure out what this code is and wouldn’t worry about it” for a service code on my thermostat that was under warranty.

I have a historic home and it desperately needed updated heating and air units. Mr. Malone came out and went over all the options with me and we selected a midsized unit that would take care of my needs. They did the install two days later and I have been extremely pleased with the result. My bills were lower, too! I recommend Malone to everyone I know locally. Great company, great technicians, great service.

I received multiple referrals for different HVAC companies to handle a potential gas leak. Malone was the only one that came from all 3 sources. And they were right. Tyler came out Saturday evening and took care of me, answered all my questions and gave me additional info regarding gas heating. Being new to Tenn and gas heating, this was extremely helpful. If/When the need comes up, I'll be contacting Malone Heat & Air for any needed work.

Our Malone technician came out Friday 10/10 for maintenance. He was very helpful and even went back to check a couple other items before wrapping things up. Super nice guy and very helpful. Turns out that our old unit needs to be replaced. I was given a quote the next morning and they will be doing the new install just a few days later. I would highly recommend these guys. We’ve always gotten great service from them.

They sent a guy named Ross out to repair my unit and I didn’t feel comfortable with him being inside with my kids home. He acted really sketchy and I noticed that I had several things that were damaged after he left. He never came back to finish the work and I had to get somebody else to come fix it.

Our technician, Austin, was punctual and extremely thorough. We’ve been having our hvac serviced regularly for years with another regional company and typically the technician spends about 15 minutes checking and tuning the equipment. Malone Heat & Air has absolutely blown us away. Extremely detailed, really made sure our units were running smoothly and efficiently and made sure to get the job done right. Would (and have!) recommend Malone and Austin to any friends or family. Price was very fair and transparent. Great experience.

These guys installed a new Trane system exactly one year ago to replace an old and broken existing system, the upgrade has been fantastic. Install was quick and easy, and there have been no problems in the year. Just had my first annual maintenance visit, the guys were friendly, professional, and got their work done quickly. Would recommend.

Parker was highly informative, efficient, and detail-oriented. Prices were very fair. $89 for a first time service. He worked for several hours meticulously checking every inch of our AC, crawl space, attic, and air flow in the house. Furthermore, he showed us real time data of how our caliper tested, and replaced it with a $100 discount (given we signed up for the twice annual servicing, which makes sense for us with an older AC unit). Lastly, communication from the front to the back end was quick and flexible. They worked around our schedule, and sent us reminders for our appointments. We will not be going anywhere else for our AC service needs. Thank you, Parker!

Zach came out to check on my newly installed unit. He spent around 2 hours checking things out. He was very polite and used shoe covers to keep the house clean which kept me out of trouble with the wife. At the end of his service call he informed me the outside unit needed replaced. North Georgia Heating and Air came back 2 days later (they could have come the next day but my schedule did not allow it) and replaced the unit at no charge since it was under warranty. The install crew was just as professional (I did not catch their names). This company has many fine folks working for them and they represent the company well. Chad has been one of the techs from the company I have worked with the most and he deserves a shout out as well for taking care of our heating and air over the years.

Great experience. Parker was very knowledgeable about my AC system and knew exactly how to troubleshoot my issue. He came out quickly after I called on a Sunday evening. Highly recommend.

Parker was extremely helpful in solving my air conditioning problem. His communication was superb and his experience and advice valuable. He was able to diagnose my problem quickly and narrow it down to the root-cause. I would work with this company again just because of my positive experience with Parker. Would definitely recommend and will go back to them for future HVAC issues.

We have used North GA Heating and Air for years and they always do a great job! If we have a problem, they are there by the next day to check it out. Jeremy did a great job of explaining what needed to be done and why, and Chris and the other installers were very friendly and respectful of our home. They will continue to be our go to for all of our heating and air needs.

I want to commend two employees. First Jeremy Logan, he has serviced my system many times and is professional, courteous and explains everything!
Next is Parker Jones, he made a service call Wednesday evening after a long day. My AC stopped suddenly. Parker was here after 8PM working, he found the problem right away, repaired it and still had another client to see. Thanks to his prompt attention I was not without air overnight. I appreciate this company so much. 5 star from me.

We cannot be any happier with the results. Parker guided us through our choices and we were able to choose a new HVAC system with no drama. The team that showed up for the installation was amazing. No foul language...no smoking... Professional in their approach... They got the work done and made sure every smudge spot got cleaned up. These guys are reason why we stay with North Georgia. The last guy out said "God bless" as I shut the door.

I am satisfied with all of the installation and the professional work performed.
I am not satisfied with the thermostat. I think it is not giving the correct temperature of my house. My last thermostat i was able to run at 73 degrees and it said the house was at 73. The new thermostat has to be at 75 degrees to keep the house at 73. May be a faulty thermostat or maybe it needs calibrating ???
