Was 95 degrees middle of summer and I called my home warranty company -they assigned repair to Mack’s air-I expexcted delays on having my ac repaired due to their backlog -but they had a tech out in two days/the tech jack was polite and highly experienced he found the problem-but did not have the part and it had to be ordered —Mack’s sent me a text the same day to say part ordered and would be installed in two days-ac going good now. Highly satisfied and strongly recommend

Our tech was very knowledgeable and friendly. We are first time homeowners and a lot of this is foreign to us but he took the time to show us the problem and walked us through the rest of the process. We will definitely be calling again!

Never got great service like this before, but I knew it was going to be great when Jack introduced himself with a smile. He began to ask pertinent questions about what had happened and checked the inside unit. After a few minutes inside, he went to the outside condensing unit, found the problem, and fixed it within minutes. I did ask him a few questions and he answered each one so I could understand. Great job Jack, and Thank You MaxAir Pro!!

My husband stated that Brian came right in diagnosed the issue, checked to see if he had the part on hand, and fixed the problem. It's relieving to know the problem was fixed immediately by a trustworthy, qualified technician.

Stay away from this company at all costs. They came out to fix our HVAC which had a failed fan motor. The technician, Henry, removed our old fan motor and had trouble getting the fan blade off the old motor shaft. He took the blade with him (this should have been our first red flag) and came back later to finish the installation. When he finished the installation my husband went to look at our unit and noticed it bouncing and making a loud noise (second red flag). He brought this up to the technician and said it was concerning to him since our unit never made the noise before or had so much movement. Henry the technician brushed him off and said the work was done and everything was fine. A few days later the entire lid of our unit cracked all the way across dropping the motor and blade into our condenser unit. The motor sat inside the unit trying to run and did not flip the breaker. If we had not caught it when we did, our house may have caught on fire. With the interior of the unit now visible, we noticed the fan blades were severely dented, the new motor was
burned up, and the coil of our condenser was dented from
the fan blade slamming into it when it fell. The fan blades were probably dented from being beat on to get them off the previous shaft. When I called MaxAir to ask them to fix the damages and repair the unit, the owner told me the damage was already present when they came to service the unit. I have never been so blatantly lied to by a business. I understand the owner was taking the technician at his word, that the unit was cracked when he arrived, but it was not. I even have photos proving it was not. He refused to repair what they damaged and tried to charge me over $700 for the repairs and that was the total after he was accounting for the $1,500 my home warranty was prepared to cover. He said he would repair the lid (and reinstall the faulty, burned up equipment that caused the damage to my condenser unit) for free but that I would have to wait 2-3 months for those repairs. As anyone living in Memphis knows, you cannot comfortably live through the months of August - September without air conditioning, especially not with a two year old and several pets in the home.
Helpful tip for those of you out there willing to take a chance on shady HVAC companies, my lawyer said it is notoriously hard to go after crooks like this because they lie to displace blame and claim the HVAC systems are faulty. Since most laymen are not HVAC professionals, they cannot argue with the crooked HVAC companies. It is a shame these types of businesses are able to take advantage of people and get away with it. I hired two other companies to review the damages and both said faulty workmanship was to blame.
If you are looking for a company that will damage your property, lie to your face, and refuse any responsibility for their actions, then MaxAir is for you. I took my business elsewhere. -
Brian was very friendly, knowledgeable, and offered quick service. My husband and I were very satisfied with his customer service and performance.

Mr. Bryan was the technician who came out on a service call to check out my Heating system and it turned out that there wasn't anything to worry about and everything was fine. He even check out the Filter and took the time to explain who it works. I would like to say "Thank you" for being a HONEST man. The other company I called earlier the technician came out and said I needed a NEW unit which he said it would be $20,000. He tried to Scare me by saying that, if I used the heating unit my granddaughter and I could DIE from Corbin Deoxidize Poison because the until had holes in it. He was a DISHONEST man trying to make a SALE. There WASN'T anything wrong with the unit and No Holes.
I NEVER go with the first thing I'm told. I ALWAYS get an second and sometimes a third opinion.
Thanks MaxAir for hiring HONEST employees. -
When our unit's motor failed (Mid-August in Memphis), MaxAir impressed us from the very start with their responsiveness. We called VERY late in the afternoon and to our relief they scheduled a technician for the very next morning (they texted us the arrival window between 8-11 am)— the communication you just don’t see much these days!
The technician (Derek) was friendly & professional, he arrived right at 8 am and got straight to work. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, and had all the necessary parts on hand to make the repair in one visit. It’s rare to encounter such efficiency and transparency.
If you’re looking for fast, dependable, and friendly HVAC service in the greater Memphis area, MaxAir should be your first call! -
