The true test of a business is when things don't go as planned. Al installed a new heating and air system for us a few months ago. Al came out personally to see to it that a code issue was resolved. His team came by a week ago and charged the air conditioner with coolant because the temperature was too low to add coolant when the system was installed. I would use Al Britt again. Al follows up on everything.

Replaced our old unit in about half the price of what some local memphis area competitor priced us I stayed pretty cool through all this heat! Al Britts got a great group of men working for him very polite, respectful and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend this HVAC company ! Jeff ,Gannun & Kyle got the job done!

Estimator came out to give me a quote on complete replacement. Stood on the attic stairs for two minutes. Came down and told me my roof pitch made it hard to work due to the limited space and with the heat, he wasn’t going to quote me. Gave me no other options. Didn’t look at the compressor or offer his repair team to come out. Turns out, after being looked at by two other companies that we just need a compressor replacement. My wife has a disability and we’re living in a hotel right now until this work can get done. We wasted time calling Al Britt, and we’ll never make that mistake again. Take a hard pass on Al Britt, as they don’t seem to care much about helping people out.

We have been customers of Mr Britt for over 36 years. He is the most honest and trustworthy company we have ever used. Several years ago we needed a new AC unit I called 4 HVAC contractors for estimates. Three of the 4 told us we needed a 4 ton unit. Mr Britt came inspected the unit and measured the area it would service. He sat at our kitchen table and told us we didn't need a 4 ton unit that we needed a 3.5 ton unit and then explained why and what would happen if we got a unit that was too big. We really appreciated Mr. Britts honesty and expert advice.

They did a great job at a good price on a furnace and an air conditioner. Told me they would fine tune the air conditioner when it warmed up and sure enough they called me 40 days later to make an appointment. I highly recommended Al Britt.

This outfit is the best in the business. Kyle, Kevin, and Brandon were prompt, polite, personable, and professional. Their work ethic when installing my new air conditioning unit was second to none. Al Brit himself explained both product and procedure to me in complete detail prior to the installment. He also called beforehand to inform me of the arrival time of his team and again afterward to inquire as to my satisfaction. While the unit was being installed, Mr. Brit put in a personal appearance to make sure everything was going according to plan. It is rare to find a company so dedicated to helping others in need - especially when there is an emergent situation due to the ill health of a family member. The consideration given to my situation as caretaker and to my pocketbook was indeed gratifying. Al Brit has not forgotten the importance of professional integrity, honesty, and the human element, and he insists on those qualities in his team. Al Brit really is as good as it gets. Thank you to the Al Britt team for getting our air conditioning back up and running. Your team installed the unit just 2 years ago, but after a power outage, the unit did not function. Your technicians were on time, knowledgeable, respectful,

I just had 4 HVAC units (two 2-ton, a 3-ton and a 4-ton) installed. Al Britt was not only the most competitively priced, but his team also did an outstanding job on the installation. I highly recommend him for any future HVAC needs.

First, it took a month for the air to finally work. Had to replace the whole unit. It was defective, but I had to pay for an electrician to tell me what was wrong; the company didn't believe it was there problem. Now, less than one year later, I am having to pay more than $400 dollars for Freon because they didn't fill it after the second instillation. I am using another company as my dealings with Al Britt have been just awful.

My heat went out and it was a cold night. I contacted Al Britt and was not expecting to see a service technician on the same day, but to my surprise, Jeff Looney was sent to see what my problem was within an hour of my call! He repaired my system and I will be using Al Britt in the future to replace my heating system. The service and professionalism was GREAT!

My most recent experience with Al is for a warranty call on a capacitor replacement for a 4-yr-old Trane unit. While warranty service is a nuisance (but I still like Trane a lot), Al was able to get me same-day service to get the condenser back up and running. His techs are polite and competent. My first experience with Al was for the purchase of two Trane condensers back in 2019 (one of them mentioned above). At that time, I went out for bids to replace my two existing units; Al was the low bidder for comparable units. I feel good about using his team and would recommend him to others.

This is our 2nd purchase from Al Britt. Our first one lasted 23 years. We decided to replace it solely based on age and not wanting to experience replacement during the summer heat.

Al was thorough in his explanation of our options. He was the third contractor to provide estimates. We had determined before starting the process that we wanted a Trane higher efficiency unit. His estimate was lower.

We easily arranged installation to fit our schedule in early March 2020. The installation crew were all pleasant, efficient and able to answer any questions. They left the site clean and orderly.

Due to the mild Spring we did not extensively run the unit until June. It is super.

As an update it is now late August. We had an issue. The condensate pump ceased working. After notifying Al Britt his techs were out within hours and identified the issue. A new pump was put in and we are running well. A terrific response overall. Anything manufactured may fail. Our criteria is how a contractor responds when an issue arises. Al Britt passed with flying colirs.

Al Britt is a well respected company in memphis. He installed a 2 ton unit in my movie theater with 2 returns and 6 vents. We did have a small issue after install, but when i reached out to Al directly, he fixed all the issues and did a great job. I'd highly recommend Al Britt Heating + Air to anyone in Memphis looking for quality work at a great price.

Al replaced my air conditioning and furnace. He gave me a great deal and the ability to finance. Kyle and Kyle did the work and they were very professional. We are very happy with the way everything was done. I would highly recommend Al Britt’s company to anyone.

Al Britt A/C & Heating greatly surpassed my expectations. They came out very quickly, and Jeff diagnosed my problem in a short time. They came out the next day and completed the fix, and I was back in business! They are now my go to company for any HVAC issues!

I had an issue with a very old AC unit. I was expecting the worst and fully expected to be looking at a replacement. I called Al and he sent out Jeff, who was in and out with the fix in 20 mins. He explained his fix and that while my unit was old, it still had some life. I appreciate the fact he fixed it instead of automatically coming in to try to sell me on a new unit. Can’t beat that kind of honesty. I’ll need that new unit at some point in the future, and when I do, I’ll call Al Britt.

Al Britt and his employees are a pleasure to work with. I recently replaced three complete HVAC systems. The work was performed on time and to the level we expected. The company's communication was excellent. Do yourself a favor a get a proposal from Al Britt. You will not regret it!

I want to write this unsolicited review based upon my experience with Al Britt Air & Heat.

Last Thursday I had the need for a new HVAC system. I called Al Britt's company and they were immediately responsive to my call. They had someone out first thing and received the estimate and delivered the new system and completed installation the next day. No delays, no excuses----they did what they said they were going to do and did it when they said they were going to do it----nothing more and nothing less! That in itself is unheard of in today's world! Additionally, Al's price was thousands less than any competitor.
I strongly recommend you contact Al Britt Air & Heat should you need their services in the future.
