During the February 2021 freeze in Texas, it was almost impossible to get a plumber to repair a broken pipe and get my water back on. It took me 8 days without water and calls to at least 12 plumbers before I found Micah's. Even though they were working insanely long hours and were fully booked for days in advance, they came out late at night and got my water back on. They identified the cause of the leak as the result of some years earlier plumbing work that had been done incorrectly by the builder, so they did a temporary fix and promised to come back and reconfigure the pipeline and do the job right next week when things aren't so out-of-control in Texas. I am so grateful to have running water again, and be able to take a shower and flush toilets and wash dishes and clothes, etc.! I will be calling on Micah's for future plumbing work and highly recommend them.

Great company, great people. Micah and Jenny were very patient, nice, and professional. They did a great job performing the hydrostatic test for a property we were going to purchase in Allen. They spent a lot of time explaining the process and results to us and even helped us resolve a permit question with the city for a previous foundation repair. They definitely went above and beyond. We'll definitely call them for any future problems.

I have hired Micah's Honest Plumbing a couple times this year to fix some minor plumbing issues. Every encounter I have with them is fantastic. These folks truly are honest, knowledgeable and all about doing things right the first time. I have full confidence in them both as people and as professionals. Thursday evening our outside faucet popped off due to corrosion. We called on Micah's Honest Plumbing for an estimate and appointment. The July 4th holiday was quickly approaching and our usual plumber was out of town already. Jennifer and Micah actually talked us through the repair. The water is back on and thankfully no leaks. We will definitely use them in the future and pass on our experience to others. It's not everyday that people help out others without wanting something in return. We are very pleased and grateful.

Today we spoke with Jennifer, The sweetest owner. I have NEVER received customer service like this before. I have never felt more appreciated and valued as a customer. Jennifer gave my husband advice on our plumbing situation and gave us her best recommendation. Speaking to her for almost an hour, we truly believe there’s good people in the world, and she’s one of them. It felt like we were talking to someone who genuinely understands our financial situation and wasn’t a typical salesperson. I recommend her company if you’re in the area, you won’t regret it! Spoke with Jennifer after getting appointments with other providers and should have started with them first. Jennifer listened to my problem, gave me a rough estimate, and worked with me to come out as soon as possible.

The crew came and dug up the pipe. Then Micah and Jennifer showed up for repair, which was done while explaining to me what was being done. Then the clean up crew came in and it looked like the yard had not been touched!

I’ve used Micah for years. From small valve and faucet replacements to the big water heater replacements as well. He’s always very up front with things over the phone and always happy to show me what the problems are. I DIY some small things but I always call Micah when something is out of my comfort zone.

Please understand I have never posted a review on line before, but felt compelled after a water leak in my home. Micah's Knowledge, work ethic, and determination is what makes it worth it to call them. He's reliable, and it's so refreshing to meet someone that does what he says he will and at the price quoted. I think he considers each job as a challenge and will not stop until it's fixed correctly !!!

Micah really lives up to his company’s name. He is very professional, courteous, reasonably priced and an expert in the field. He tries to educate his clients about the basic things in plumbing.
We had a leaking kitchen sink and called Micah. He could not come at the time of the appointment, which was a Friday, due to some other emergency. He came the very next day and took care of the problem very efficiently. He absolutely refused to take payment from me, since there was a delay of one day, in fixing the problem. I have been using Micah’s service since a couple of years and have been extremely happy with it. Every call is returned promptly and appointments given out immediately. I will definitely continue using his service, for all future needs and would recommend him to anybody who is in need of a plumber.

Walking into your family room feeling the rug squish under your feet is not a a great feeling. Then discovering your floors have water seeping in between the planks was about enough to put me over the edge. Yup, we had a slab leak! We were referred to Micah’s Honest Plumbing from both co-workers and friends who had used their company for their own homes. We called them and after assessing the situation over the phone, Micah and Jenny came over. (Oh, and this was on a Sunday!) I cannot speak enough to the caring, concern and quick action taken to find and stop the water from doing more damage. They walked us through the process we had ahead of us step by step. I cannot begin to thank them and their excavation crew for the amazing job done! Everyone who took part In this situation was professional, timely and knowledgeable. But... The biggest reason I will refer Micah’s Honest Plumbing to friends, family and coworkers is that their customer service is second to none! Thank you both for everything!

I liked the Christian references on their website but didn't know what to expect. Micah's Honest Plumbing returned our call quickly and came out to give us an estimate within hours.
Micah was friendly and understanding to our situation and helped us out on the price. He was assertive in what he could do and promised he would have our water on by the next day. He stayed late the next evening to keep his promise and did a great job- we had our water back on!

Our previous plumber was going to make a hole in the wall to change a shower valve that would not stop leaking. Micah instructed me to call Delta and get the correct valve insert. Micah installed the valve insert in 15min and NO leaks. Micah saved us $$$ in unnecessary repairs. This guy is good!!

This company is so awesome. I’ve called a couple times in the past few years in emergency situations and Jennifer always calls back and gives you tips on how to band aid something until they can come out. She even text even more helpful tips without me asking. What an awesome company with great pride in taking care of their customers.

I highly recommend Micah and Jenny. They replaced my main sewer line and hot water heater. Through every step of the process they were communicative, and they made big efforts to keep us in our house, even though it was more work for them. Their prices were more than fair, and Micah takes extreme pride in doing the job right. It was a big job, and my whole family got to know and like them. If you want an honest local plumber who will do you right, Micah and Jenny are the ones for you.

Friendly, fair and above all honest! Tells it like it is and always offers all solutions that fix the issue, and not just the most expensive. Gave us several option for replacing our water heater, and as usual area was cleaner when he left than when he arrived. Micahs is ALWAYS our first call!

I contacted them ten days ago regarding a possible leak. They were super quick to respond and immediately advised us to have a leak detector come out to assess the situation. These people are salt of the Earth. So responsive and willing to work with me on our 50 year old home. If you need any plumbing done, this is my recommendation as your go to in the Lucas Allen area.

Micah and Jenny are the best. Servants to their core. They will give you the shirt off their back, and go out of their way to deliver it to you in person.
I was out of town (of course!) when the water heater decided to start leaking. My wife calls me to describe the situation and luckily between the two of us we managed to find our way to Micah. Jenny got on the phone with us and immediately took firm but compassionate control of the situation walking my wife through assessing the situation and making a plan to prevent property damage and get hot water flowing in the house again. In a very short time, Micah and Jenny were at my house making a temporary fix even though they were busy with other work when our situation arose. Fantastic response. Then we arranged to make a more permanent fix (water heater replacement) some days later. The temporary fix was painless and very effective, and the full job was completed later with great skill and professionalism. They even completed the job for less than the original estimate, and addressed every little detail. I could not be happier. I now feel blessed to know them, and I will never choose to use a different plumber again.
