AMAZING service! 1st Choice came out when my house wasn't cooling down. Another company told me that i just needed insulation in the attic. They put the insulation in but it did not help. I called 1st Choice because they were recommended by Austin Energy. They came out and immediately determined that my unit needed to be replaced. I went through Austin Energy to get a low interest loan and rebates that saved me around 1700.00. My air conditioner is working beautifully. The representative I worked with kept me informed daily about the status of the installation. He even went to Home Depot and bought portable air conditioner to use before and while the installation was completed. I cannot say enough the quality of the work done. I will use them again in a heartbeat.

I had a fantastic experience with 1st Choice Energy for my recent HVAC work. The owner, Matt, was the lead technician on the job and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He completely renovated my ductwork, rebuilt the plenums, and added insulation to bring my attic up to code. After a frustrating history with substandard HVAC , I had lots of questions about the ductwork renovations. He and his crew were patient and eager to do the job right. Matt, especially, took the time to explain everything in detail. The results are incredible—it feels like I have brand new A/C, with a strong, steady stream of air from every vent. I would highly recommend 1st Choice Energy to anyone.

Bill Cook came out and assessed the situation and the company gave us a quote with transparent pricing broken down by each component of the install. I really appreciate that 1st Choice Energy manages the full rebate process with City of Austin from coordinating the pre and post install inspections to submitting the rebate requests. The work crew arrived on time each day and completed the job faster than expected. They were very respectful of our needing to use our house even during the work and of our pets. They came out and did a great job. My wife still comments on how tough it is to open the door. But it’s because the weather stripping is so good. They also did a great job in the attic because we needed new insulation and a return air. The improvement upstairs was noticeable right away and that is where it was always hot in the summer. While doing the work they were professional and kept the house clean. We appreciate everything that you did.

First Choice Energy provided new AC ducts and smart thermostat plus new insulation and general sealing of doors and under cabinets through the City of Austin weatherization program. They did an excellent job. Their technicians were courteous and careful at my home. Work was completed in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend them!

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Everyone was professional, highly knowledgeable, and super friendly. I participated in the Austin Energy program which is also wonderful. It’s been over a year now so I’ve had a full baking summer and one winter ice event. My 1982 house that had little insulation left in it before 1st Choice fixed everything, stayed SO toasty warm I had to keep checking the thermostat to make sure it wasn’t broken! I stay cooler longer in the summer which helps my electric bill. I highly recommend their services. Oh and the install workers were also great- they kept the areas clean, they picked up after themselves, and the work was done correctly and has held up. Thank you!

We recently moved to the Circle C area in Austin, TX, and during our home inspection we were told the HVAC system and ductwork needed professional cleaning. A friend of ours who lives in the Westlake area recommended Allstar Air Duct Cleaning after they used them for air quality service in their home.
After doing some research about air duct cleaning in Austin, I realized that many companies don’t actually follow NADCA standards. Allstar Air Duct Cleaning definitely does real professional work. They arrived with large professional equipment, including a negative air machine and all the proper tools for a true HVAC and duct cleaning service.
Our home is about 6,000 sq ft, so the job was pretty large and it took about two days to complete. They cleaned all the air ducts, return vents, and parts of the HVAC system. After the cleaning we could actually notice an improvement in the air quality in the house.
The team was very professional, respectful, and worked extremely hard the entire time. This type of work is not easy and they did a great job. If you’re looking for air duct cleaning in Austin, Circle C, or Westlake, I definitely recommend Allstar Air Duct Cleaning. Thank you Sam and Roni
