Excellent service. They were very responsive with communication. They came out to my very hot house quickly. Walter was friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. The problem was solved quickly & my house feels so much better! I highly recommend Ideal Aircare.

I tell you what, customer service goes an extremely long way with me. I’m a customer for life with Ideal Aircare. Both times my furnace went down, the owner, Ed has personally taken it upon himself to make sure I was without heat for the least amount of time possible. Last night, at 8pm, he FaceTimed me while I troubleshooted the problem. Who does that? We were able to get the furnace to run through the night and guess who showed up first thing the next morning to do a permanent repair? Ed. The owner. If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know, I can’t help you. As a first time homeowner, this is the kind of relationship that will last a lifetime.

Called Ideal out for a second opinion after another company tried to pressure me into replacing my HVAC system. Ideal was great about explaining my options and recommended a comparatively cheap repair instead. Turns out nothing was actually wrong with my HVAC unit, but Matthew was very nice about letting me watch the whole process and ask lots of questions. Well worth the service fee for peace of mind and learning something new.

Wonderful experience all around. Ideal Aircare diagnosed my problem and fixed it the day before a very cold Christmas Eve. Thankfully their swift diagnosis meant they could get the part they needed before the holiday. The technician was friendly and professional and explained everything in terms I could understand. The owner dropped by himself to deliver the part. They also were the only company I called that morning that had a real live person answering the phone!

We purchased a new home and on the first cold day this year, found out our heating was busted. Called Ideal at 5:30pm and they had someone out at 9am the next day. They diagnosed the issue and gave us a timeframe for the part we needed to come in. Took a little longer than estimated for the part to come in but that's not their fault - they called me the moment the part came in and said they'd send someone immediately to pick it up and come straight over to install it. Walter was super friendly, answered all of our questions, installed the part and stayed to run a full test of the system to make sure it was really fixed. Can't say enough good things about Walter and his service, and would definitely recommend! We got competitive quotes and Ideal's rates were spot on with all the others. Definitely a fair price for the great service!

Ed came out to my house and diagnosed my problem immediately, and provided a quick fix for our AC issue. I highly recommend Ideal Air Care! Knowledgeable and honest staff, quick response time, and they provide a very good value for their services.

Both times my system was failing when it was very hot outside & Ideal Aircare was able to respond within hours & resolve the issue. Fixed my AC handler at a low price while the other guys wanted $2k to replace a blower fan motor when that was not the issue to begin with. Honesty and integrity is where these guys start when they walk in your door. They are real service techs who find a solution to the problem and not sell you a solution.

The most honest and ethical Mechanical company I have ever hired. When my mother's AC went down on a Sunday, they were here and charged a fair rate. We use them a lot and they have always been fair on their pricing. Great service and very Christ like.

I was amazed by the way Ideal Air Care worked on my HVAC. We had been without heat for weeks. Walter worked diligently with Ed Walter to get me back up and running in less than a day. They answered all my questions. The charge for the service was also so very reasonable. I will definitely call on them again for seasonal maintenance and recommend them without hesitation.

I can't say enough good things about Ideal Aircare, great quality work, very quick and responsive which is so important when you're faced with no A/C or heat. Our 22-year-old system died and Ed personally came out and gave us a quote, it was instantly clear he knew what he was talking about and was looking out for my HVAC system. We couldn't be happier with the system we got installed and look forward to working with Ideal Aircare again should any issue arise or if we ever move, Ed is the only person I would call.

Ed (owner) and the Ideal AirCare crew are great! We just had them install 2 new A/C units to replace our original ~16-year old units. Ed gave us a clear bid, and was here for the installation the entire time. He answered all my questions and the installation was great. He gave me a rundown of the systems when the work was complete. His crew was great and they cleaned-up after the project was done.

I strongly recommend them. His bid was cheaper than other firms I contacted, and he was transparent with me about what made the most sense given our home/scenario (the cheaper units which are head-and-shoulders better than our original builder-grade units).

These guys came out within hours of our AC going out last summer and fixed the issue in no time. We recently had a sudden leak from our unit into our ceiling and we didn’t hesitate to call Ed and his crew again. The swift response was surprising considering the current heat wave, and once again, the issue was resolved and explained to us in a thorough manner. They do great work in a timely fashion and I highly recommend Ideal Aircare.

I spent $300 with Ideal Aircare to reattach the plenum and reseal the unit since air was leaking out. Less than a year later all of the sealing fell apart. I had another AC company come out and the technician confirmed that Ideal Air Care just used silver tape to seal the unit which quickly fell apart. The other company explained how this is not the proper way to seal the leaks in the plenum and correctly fixed this issue for less money. Shoddy work by Ideal Air Care. Would not hire them again.

We had an amazing experience with Ed! Our AC went out in the July heat, and after calling 7 places, Ed Ivey came and saved the day! The repair cost less than we anticipated, and he found a wire that needed to be repaired inside our unit. As an added bonus he loved our (very old) rescue dog who can look intimidating but just needs a little extra care, and he loves Ed right back. We are so grateful for him and from now on he is the only AC guy we are going to call.

Sent a request in online and was called within 30 minutes! They got out same day and fixed my (self induced) issue quickly! Affordable, friendly and knowledgeable, what more could you want! Will definitely be my go to for anything HVAC related!

Thankfully a friend referred me to Ed Ivie and Ideal Air Care. They replaced my condo's whole AC system at a reasonable price and did a great job. They had to do extra work to complete the job properly, which involved cutting into my drywall, and did not charge me more, but stuck to the quoted price. Very happy with them!!!

I called early morning after my A/C broke overnight. Ed responded quickly, showed up the same day, and repaired the unit. Ed's a nice guy and a professional. One of the best service experiences I've had in Austin!
