My AC kept shutting off due to condensation, and the automatic shutdown thingy. Unable to get all of the water out of the line , I googled ac repair and this company was on the top with great reviews. I called and the lady who answered was very nice. My husband was out watching football, but he did tell me what was wrong. However, by the time I called ... I forgot. She was very helpful and understanding. Anyway , she scheduled the appointment, the repair man came, fixed it within 15 minutes. He was also very nice and professional. I also should mention he came today. Yes, on a Sunday, and Labor Day weekend. Thank you for your prompt response and great customer service!

Highly recommend AC Express!

On time, courteous, direct, and to the point. The tech assessed the problem, addressed the problem, and left with tips on how better to treat the problem moving forward. To top everything off, we weren't charged for the service call. Who does that anymore? It's refreshing to see that from anyone these days, especially when having to deal with an older home/ac unit in Cedar Park.

I will definitely be using this company moving forward and for future new AC install in the fall. Thanks again AC Express!

We have been using AC Express for all of our heating and cooling maintenance for years and they are always a pleasure to work with. They are extremely quick to respond and the customer service over the phone is friendly and understanding. They were at my house within an hour of my phone call on a weekday morning to fix my heater and were able to efficiently diagnose and fix the problem in less than 15 minutes. I will be recommending them to all my friends, family and clients who are needing a/c repairs!

Very fast and responsive service! When our AC died on the hottest day of 2015, they were out the next morning and less then 48 hours after the initial call we had a new system installed and a house cooling down! Just yesterday our units capacitor went out and again, AC Express was out and quickly had the unit up and running! Local Cedar Park business that is a must call for your AC repair needs!! These guys are pros and nice people! My AC stopped working and I started calling around "frantically". I found AC Express based on good Google reviews -- really they were the only AC repair with good reviews that I could make a relatively quick appointment with. I had to change the appointment time twice due to my situation, and every time AC Express accommodated my requests for rescheduling.

When Chad came for the service call on time, he quickly determined the cause of my problem -- it turned out to be a bad capacitor on my outdoor compressor. He put a new capacitor on and fixed the problem in no time. Very impressive! He also did a visual inspection of my indoor AC components for me. Now, to my pleasant surprise, he didn't charge me for the service call or the capacitor, since it was a quick and easy fix for him. He quickly moved on to his next appointment... What a professional and nice guy!

There were some complications due to the original installation issues, but they did such great follow ups that I offered additional payment out of my own gratitude which they politely declined. Honest people with genuine craftsmanship. I wish I knew somebody like them in other areas of need.

I'm not usually inclined to write reviews but these folks at AC Express are incredible. The Woman who takes the calls was pleasant and polite, the guy who serviced our AC did a lot of work for a very reasonable price (so reasonable we were eager to tip him well) We used them because they were local and they Didn't disappoint: arrived early, were very transparent and friendly and after dealing with several other AC folks who refused to do certain work or who immediately tried to upsell us, it was a relief to deal with good honest folks who know their stuff. Our AC broke down over a weekend during one of those 105+ days. Called multiple 'emergency 24*7' places on a Sunday only to have them schedule appointments 3 - 5 days out. These guys were the only ones who actually assured us that they will try and get to us as soon as possible Monday morning. And they did. Once here, they quickly diagnosed the issue, made recommendation to replace, had a replacement on hand, installed it and were all done within 1.5 hours. We had the house cooling down again from the 89/90 it had touched. We appreciated the responsiveness and professionalism demonstrated by AC express...Highly recommend.

Have called AC Express twice in past two years. They are responsive and professional. First time was to replace an aged outside unit. The price was very reasonable and the unit has been running without any problems. Second time was a clogged drainage pipe. The technician came to site and told me what the issue is and I can fix it easily myself. After I tried myself and he came back to my house again to confirm it's been done right. Even for him to come by twice, it’s free of charge!
I would highly recommend AC Express for any AC service to anyone and use them for future services myself.

Very honest company. I called because I thought one of our units might have an issue and they got me an appointment quick and arrived in the time window they gave me. They looked at my units and told me that everything looked ok and that I didn’t need anything done. I will definitely be using them from now on, as I know they are very honest and won’t make you get things done that aren’t needed. Thanks again!

This is the second time we used AC Express after our downstairs unit went out last year. Wouldn't you know, 2nd unit failed two weeks ago. We had to call them out again as the new unit wasn't working as expected. Super quick response, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend.

Hire them, seriously. They are quick, efficient, friendly and affordable. I had to replace my unit very unexpectedly last year, they came right out and took care of it. Since then they have maintained it once and came out again today when I was having issues with my drainage tube and fixed it all up for free. You want a reliable folks when it comes to your A/C and these guys are it!

AC Express is your choice for immediate response. These are real folks, not a chain - its clear in their language and ability to respond so quickly. I had a bad situation with Carrier not honoring the warranty on their product and in Austin the heat can make a home unbearable. They installed the replaced failed part so that our home was habitable again. I cannot speak to their pricing, however, the quality was great and they are an honest group. As a business owner you know when folks are not out gouging you. I will call AC Express first every time (hopefully never in this home) again.

Updated for 2024: I've been using AC Express for over 6 years. They are great! They are prompt to respond, always very courteous, and stand behind their work.

(Original review): Awesome service at a good price. Techs were professional and on time and did a great job. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Over the past year they've replaced both of our AC units and they did an excellent job -- and the technician was very honest and knowledgeable. He takes his time to answer all ur questions -- use them.....

These guys are fantastic. They were the only ones able to come on the same day to get my AC back on track, they were also punctual and friendly. In terms of price, I would not be able to say if they are competitive or not, as they found the issue straightforward to fix and did not charge anything which is downright exceptional, to say the least. The grid of one of my external unit had been damaged by a fallen tree branch - after bending it back to place to allow the system to run they came back a couple of weeks later with a replacement found on an older unit and fixed mine with it. Really amazing customer experience, these guys are my go-to for AC problems and I recommend them to anyone having to deal with such issues.

Get a second opinion! I don’t want to go into too much detail but I will just say they came out and told me I needed a new AC. Given the cost I wanted to get a second opinion and somehow the second technician reset the AC and everything was working fine. I asked what it could have been but he said he saw nothing wrong and that he would have never recommended a new AC and he didn’t do anything special during his initial review. Only silver lining was they did not charge for the visit however trying to sell me an AC that I didn’t need is very disingenuous.

Our A/C broke down, they came on a Saturday within an hour of calling, turned out it was a small part that was broken, replaced it for free. The next day we had another issue where our A/C was down again. Again they came out within an hour, turned out our unit's drain lines were clogged as well. Helped us get back up and running and we've had no problems for weeks since. Didn't charge a cent. Absolute best service anywhere.
