Great experience with Affordable AC & Heating Inc! I called at 1000 and they were at my house by 2 pm to evaluate my AC system issue. They returned by the next afternoon with parts and finished everything promptly. I highly recommend them.

I called Monday morning to see about a quote , and was told they could come out after we got off the phone. And he did! They were sharp and professional l got a quote to clean the ducts and see about ac being colder. I didn’t know it would be that easy and fast with corpus being so busy, I highly recommend Affordable A/C and his crew to come out and take on any job you have for them!

Called them as soon as we could about our AC going out overnight. Their response time was amazing - able to come out same day unlike other places (giving Thursday, Friday days). They were very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Will highly recommend them to anyone now!

I have had a total of three units installed by Shane's team at two homes. I have been happy with the pricing and service. I believe Shane offers a good value and the few times there have been issues over the years, Affordable AC and Heating have always taken care of them in a timely, reasonable manner.

TL;DR: Shane provides the type of service that used to be common thirty-forty years ago. Responsiveness is excellent, pricing is extremely reasonable, value is off the charts. Will update when I have him replace my system.

Details: I've known my fifteen year old AC has had a very slow leak for about three years now, and needs a pound or so of R410 a year. Last year a tech said the system needed to be replaced immediately. After discussion, the tech recharged the system but said it would only last a week.

Last night, almost a year to the day, I noticed the system wasn't cooling that well. Called Affordable at 10 this morning. Shane showed up just before 12 PM, as promised. Instead of trying to sell me on a new system, Shane offered Stop Leak as a solution that might help and couldn't hurt.

For two lbs of R410, the Stop Leak, and the no-wait express service call, I paid approximately $75 more than the other guys charged for a half-day wait, half the of R410, no stop leak, and a shake-down attempt service call. Shane and Affordable should be your first line of defense against CC heat.

We are beyond pleased with our experience with Affordable AC. Very knowledgeable and they take time to explain the issues. Owner initially came on site to assess our situation trying to resolve a poorly installed unit by another company. Technicians are courteous and professional. I was shocked at the fair pricing. Office staff is professional and even called us when there was going to be a short delay in arrival. HONEST COMPANY AND A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!! Only AC company I will trust in CC.

Thank you so much to Shane and his son and associates for helping my family get our ac back up. When I had an ac company thru my home warranty that told me I needed an electrician. Known Shane for a few yrs and called him for a second opinion, and he sent his team out and within 45- to an hr we were up and running. I appreciate you and the work of your team greatly. I can't thank Shane and his two technicians enough for the work they did. Shane came out earlier in the year and gave us different options for what we could afford to do at that time. Basically we had a leak in the coils and we could refill the system to see how long it would last, or replace the system. We chose the first knowing that it may only last a few months but it allowed my wife and I to prepare for the additional cost and also allow us to shop around. We found out very quickly that not only could Affordable A/C get us the system we wanted earlier than anyone else in the area, but they gave us the best price. Shane stood by the quote that he gave us months ago unlike others who gave us "their best price", but these other companies wanted us to call them before we chose anyone else to see if they could possible discount it. Basically we felt that the others were no being upfront and honest like Affordable A/C. They installed our complete system before our house even got warm. Their technicians were not only professional, but also very thorough when it came to cleaning everything they removed. If you are reading this don't waste time and give Affordable A/C a call. I have used Shane with Affordable AC & Heating for several years. They replaced both our inside and outside HVAC units with high quality work at a reasonable price and continue with maintenance as needed. Recently we had a situation where we needed to increase the air flow in our attic space and Shane took the time to look at the situation and resolve it. I have found that they are very trustworthy and their prices are very competitive. I highly recommend Affordable AC & Heating.

We had an old AC that needed to be replaced. Shane and his team did an amazing job making sure it was done efficiently and well. We received exceptional service. The customer service was excellent. Will definitely be using them again.

Not able to find Shane or anybody now for a brand new recently installed unit and the system is down.——-/update on Aug 8th: After system down, after tons of calls directly go to voicemail and I called both office and Shane’s phone. Very frustrating and then left my bad review here. We received a call all of sudden from Correy and told us he is already on the way and only 20 minutes away. With this short notice, I called tenant immediately and get their response at 19 minutes later. And they are switching power company and accidentally have the power off. Corey already arrived and charged me the trip fee. I told him it’s ok as long as he can help me fix the issue. The office is still not able to be reached. Corey’s phone is reachable. With another trip fee, he said he can’t fix it right way and need a quote from office. But by now no more response from anyone. I called two times and still have to wait for office quote. Aug 9th:
After the two calls, all go to voicemail but find a response here, on google review. I think I have to update here then. Very bad experience and not care your brand new AC is stay in a high temperature all day long. I choose them because of their past reviews. But seems they don’t care about it anymore. I will actually thinking of remove the review if they really start to work on the issues. Everyone has a down time and I am not picky person. But THE REALITY IS: they don’t care about your brand new AC they installed is stressed for couple days and keep high heat all the time.

Corey was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. The absolute best service I’ve ever had! Corey went the extra mile to insure 2 70 year olds had AC and out of danger. Thank you and God Bless!

Shane and his team did a great job. He gave us a great price and schedule installation in a very timely manner. Gave us a price on Tuesday and install on Thursday. Recommend them very highly.

I would like to thank Corey, Efrain and Manny for all of their hard work. Corey has come back to our home for two weeks because the inside temp was not holding. Corey replaced our compressor temporarily with another compressor. The problem was the furnace needed to be replaced. Corey and his techs came back to replace furnace. Each time I called Corey to tell him about the furnace he was understanding and kind. Thank you again Corey, Efrain and Manny for all of your hard work. God bless all of you.

I was quoted in the $10,500 range from numerous other companies. My quote, for a name brand system, through Affordable AC & Heating Inc was $7600. Best price in town! Nicest staff! They showed up on time and very professionally installed our new AC! Could not recommend this company more!

Have been having trouble with our A/C Mathews CCAC told us $ 1600 neighborhood. Affordable came out and removed, cleaned, and reinstalled my coil for 1/2 the cost and were able to do it the next morning. I have since had them out a couple times. Mathews lowered my fan speed on there own and the unit could not keep up with the heat.
They have also came out to change my float switch. These guys are great always nice and pleasant to speak with Cory, Shane, Kenneth and Crystal (hope I got your name right) I only got them once one the first call so I left messages, and they have always call me back within 15 to 20 mins.
Affordable will always be my first call. I have used several and they are hand down the best and the easiest to to get in touch with.

Just moved to Texas and the AC immediately starting causing issues. The team on the phone was very helpful. Appointment was quick. And Shane, the technician/owner was communicative and very helpful during the house call, to include offering suggestions for how to maintain the unit for longevity and efficiency.
