My wife called Elston Air 12-9 when I was on a business trip. $59 service charge to tell her that the defrost board needed replacing and they had to order the board. 12-13 they replace the board for $347. We call them back after the next cold day to tell them they system isn't heating. They come back out on 12-19 and look at the system and then tell me that the thermostat that Vivant installed was installed incorectly so the defrost board was never getting the signal to turn on. $89 to rewire the thermostat. Called them back after the next cold snap and they came back out again and rewired the thermostat that they had just rewired. Called them back again after the next cold snap and they came back out again and they replaced a 60 amp braker and added 1 pound of R22 for $238. Now I have paid $733 for a system that they just kept guessing on and I spent most of the winter (12-9 to 1-24) without the upstairs heater working. I paid $347 for a board that wasn't needed as the signal never got to the old board to tell it to turn on. My wife called asking if they were going to take care of the last bill as we paid for their guesswork and was told "We will look into it". Never got a call back on the issues just past due bills every month. I finaly paid the bill and told them that their company is dead to me. I will never use them again.

My brother had a leak in his living room that wasn't covered by the home warranty. We were told that condensation was building up and there was a blockage. Made call to the only company I trust, and they came out made the repair, and stayed around for about an hour to make sure no more leaks. Thanks Elstonaire.
