During the consultation John was real knowledgeable and polite . Then 2 days later the inside and outside was installed . It took them less than 12 hours to finish the job. The crew was very polite also cleaning up when they could , I would definitely recommend BV Air Conditioning to anyone. Thank yall !

We had a 25+ year old system finally give up on us 2 weeks ago and called BV A/C & Heating to come take a look. Two technicians came out same day inspected the system and afterwards recommended to replace the system (which we already knew would be the likely answer). The owner, John, came out later on the same day to give us a quote on a new system and to inspect the duct-work which was also 25+ years old. His inspection was thorough and afterwards showed us photos he had taken of how the old duct-work had either deteriorated or been installed sub-optimally.

He then went over our options and gave us a quote for various systems with different SEER ratings. John provided great information and when we told him we needed to think about the options, there was no high pressure selling. He said he understood and respectfully left for us to contemplate.

Having had A/C work done for another home before, I could already tell his quote was fair, but to be sure we got another reference for HVAC service from a trusted friend in the construction industry. The other HVAC company also seemed honest and capable of quality work, but their quote was several thousand dollars more than BV's.

We decided on BV and to have the complete A/C system replaced with new duct-worked installed. John again came out on the same day to finalize the paperwork and said he would have a crew out the next day to start work. He said that they might need two days to complete the entire install, but would try to finish in one day to have us up and running with A/C in this oppressive Texas heat.

The BV crew showed up early the next morning and immediately started work. As others have mentioned, they laid down tarps inside the house where they needed to and in general, worked diligently and respectfully of the property. The BV crew also took the time to answer questions I had while they were installing the system. They ended up finishing the entire install with duct-work around 6 PM and had the A/C up and blowing cold air! At some point, John had showed up to the worksite to work along side his crew and as they were nearing completion, went over the installation with me. We even climbed into the attic space so he could go over what they had done for the duct installations.

So how is the new system? FANTASTIC. The majority of the house is now an icebox. Except...the master bedroom which has always been on the hot side during summer due to it being located almost as far as it could be from the air handler, high ceilings, and almost no insulation between ceiling and roof. When we mentioned this to John he suggested moving the supply manifold closer to the master to see if that would improve things and if not then to give him a call back.

We gave the new A/C system 2 weeks to try it out but still felt the room was a little to warm. We called John again and told him that the master was too warm. Within 2 days he had two more technicians come out to cut out a new vent in the master ceiling and install a new duct line from the supply directly to the master. Happy to report that now the room is nice and cool like the rest of the house! BV and John did not charge extra for this additional vent and duct to be added.

I know this review is a little tl;dr, but it is a very comprehensive review of what actually transpired. I can say I am very happy with the professionalism of BV and their staff, the quality of their work, and the integrity of their owner John. I would certainly recommend to anyone who needs HVAC services to at least give BV a call for a consultation and quote. They will not disappoint.

The price compared to competitors is excellent. I was told ,I needed to spend 13k to replace my unit but with John I got 8k. In addition to that the response time is quicker than I anticipated.

Mike was very professional and helpful in fixing the problem of our heating unit. He is very patient and listened to our concern. We highly recommend him.

We had our replace AC at our shop yesterday. John, Arturo Petro and Jeuvonie Keogh did very good jobs. They worked very hard, professional.

John and his team have made us happy. The weather was very hot but they tried to finish their jobs on time.
His company also has a payment for us to get a new AC system. This is a very good way to do business. We love it.

BV HVAC Came in and did what they said they would do! John was not a high pressured salesmen. He was very informative and knowledgable when discussing the various types of units and what would work for the area we needed covered. The team was very professional and communicated what would be happening throughout the process. We feel we got a very good deal and highly, highly recommend this company! John’s entire team was careful to protect our floors and walls and left the area clean. Johnny showed us how to work the thermostat and the work that had been done. We are very happy with our new system!

Bought a new AC/Heating (with heat pump) system for my home from BV Air Conditioning & Heating two days ago. John was very professional with going over my options, but I knew we were going to need a whole new system, inside and out. He gave me an great price that included installation. I was able to setup a great finance plan and his crew were at my house the very next morning to take out my old and put in the new. They did an incredible job and were done in one day. They have followed up with me about my new system and ensured I had the documentation I need to file for a tax rebate. I would highly recommend at least getting a quote from BV AC & Heating to see what the have to offer. They really do top notch work and now my home is nice & cozy! I called with an emergency A/C issue. I went with a company that I haven't before because they had evening and Saturday rates that weren't super high. The first tech that came out was strictly A/C and couldn't do anything (I had a leak in the drainage from the unit) and arrived after the 6 hour time window. The correct tech was supposed to come the next day (Saturday), but ignored the scheduled time window and came when I wasn't at home (something I told the dispatch about). Now their ETA is Monday next week and I might have well called the company I normally use who has a 2 hour window and has always shown up when they said the would.

Dallas Heating and Air Conditioning - Your Tech was spectacular!!! I mean that... He was knowledgeable, professional, and very personable... The office staff was very customer service orientated and they set up an appointment with us in a flash... Some of the best service we have ever received.....We are a business, we see a lot of good to mediocre vendors, but this company is amazing!!!!!!!!

Vincent arrived 15 minutes in the window that he was supposed to show up. Vincent did a thorough inspection of my AC system inside and out. He took pictures of the specifications on the inside panel and the reading from his multimeter. He informed me that my freon was good but and informed me that my capacitor was at half capacity. He said that it would be operational and still work for a while. I decided to have Vincent change the capacitor and amperage when down from 12.2 to 11.4. I feel confident in his repair and advice and look forward to Dallas Heating and Air Conditioning servicing my unit in the fall.

The tech, Vincent, was very professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue, and knowing just enough about HVAC to be dangerous, knew he was spot on with his trouble shooting.
Zero pressure to upgrade to a new unit even though mine is 23 years old. When I asked them to provide a quote for an upgrade, they sent it quickly.
