Have been without a washing machine now for 4 weeks. They will not call back or give any sort of update. Extremely unprofessional and an outright scam. Hopefully whirlpool cancels contract with these crooks.

I have to commend Mr.Adolph for his work ethic. This gentleman is responsive, polite and very professional. He patiently listened to me explain what issues I was having with my washer and thoroughly explained the problem. I also very much appreciate the fact that he is respectful of the customer's home, I mentioned to him I have 4 dogs and he knew not to ring the door bell but to knock, this might seem like a small and insignificant thing to most but I'm very grateful for that small act. I highly recommend this business for appliance repairs, thank you Mr Adolph!!

Had a repair visit scheduled 1 week in advanced (by Maytag), event took the day off of work to be there. They ask for a 5 hour window starting from 8am.. on the day of the repair they called at 8:10am to confirm the 8am appointment; missed the call and returned within 6minutes and was told very rudely that since I didn’t answer the tech had cancelled my repair visit. I asked if it could be rescheduled and the representative said she would call me back 1 day later and haven’t heard from them.. wouldn’t recommend them at all.

This company is a scam. They have been trying to fix my washer since last October (2024). Finally come out to fix my washer, and they leave trash they produce, they came to my home without proper tools that I the "customer" provided, and then the washer still not right. It been down since October of 2024!!
DO NOT RECOMMEND, NO EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY! THE OWNER WAS PRESENT FOR THE LAST REPAIR, HE TOOK THE UNOPENED BOXES OUT HIMSELF, WHICH IM SURE WERE NOT RETURNED. SURE PARTS WERE CHARGED TO WARRANTY PROVIDER. HE SAW HIS TECH DIDNT HAVE THE DRILL AND DRILL BITS TO DO JOB. HOW EMBARRASSING IS THAT . BY THE WAY ITS STILL DOWN! INCOMPETENT IN MY OPINION.

If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. Mario was extremely unprofessional and was just looking for ways to prove me wrong. He was not willing to help at all instead just blaming the other company that we hired to clean my vent, even asking what kind of tools were used and the name of the person who cleaned it. His only solution to my problem was to leave my dryer unplugged from the vent permanently. When asked about the possible consequences and risks of doing that he again just wanted to prove me wrong. DO NOT use this company. Their four hour window that they make you be available to them is not worth the 5 minute visit and they will just leave you more frustrated then you were before they got there.

I read many of the reviews & was apprehensive when I called to follow up on the appointment Maytag set for me. What I experienced was I patiently & respectfully expressed my need for my washer to be fixed ASAP as the last service provider took a month to repair the same error code. While the receptionist unfortunately confirmed it would likely be the same length this time she did notate my account well & I was notified by the tech the next day that the part would be ordered so it was in before my appointment. My machine was repaired 2 days before Maytags first available appointment by a courteous, prompt & knowledgeable technician. Kindness & patience go a long way it getting what you need from someone else.

I was very impressed with the ease of setting my appointment. I really appreciated the reminder call the day before my repair and the call to inform me that the repair person was on the way. Jerry, my repairman was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. He was quick to find the problem and explain how the dryer parts work. I really enjoyed learning the about my dryer and he also provided recommendations on how to prolong the life of my dryer. I would definitely recommend this company if you want top-notch service.

Jerry horrible customer service Rude and up tight!!! He actually places a piece of board under my New fridge....what!!! To stop door from banging into counter when I open side by side. Of course didn't resolve issue 🙄 when I called back to report issue still exists...he rudely stated my floor was uneven WHICH HE KNOWS is a lie since he Himself used Lever to check my floor before putting board under fridge! Do not recommend and read all other reviews all agree w me.

Quick and courteous service! My dishwasher went out and they came to the house on time and fixed it. I didn’t get the service person’s name but he gave me tips on how to maintain my dishwasher and explained their guarantee as well. Would recommend this business!

Absolutely worthless. Called them out to repair a fridge with no water and no ice. Came home to find guy trying to charge $129 for a valve replacement, when valve was working fine. Got charged $5 more than I was supposed to to come out. Guy had to order a different part, came back about 2 weeks later, still couldn't fix anything. Said the owner would have to come out. Been 3 weeks, never heard back from anyone. Pretty pathetic even by El Paso standards of not wanting to finish a job.

I needed a repair done on my dryer and couldn't figure the problem out. So I called them, they had someone out right away to repair it. All I can say is awesome! Hands down best service ever.

You guys are great. I just wish you would update us when our needed part comes in, and when you will be back to repair. You just kind of show up.

I just recently had a problem with my washer. It didn't want to spin correctly and I had called a company which I won't name who supposedly fixed it, we'll no they didnt. So I was referred to your company from a relative and your service was the best I've had in a long while. Was very efficient and proffecional. They even helped me fix a problem I had with my refrigerator. I would have to say this company is a number you should have saved in your phone. 5 stars hands down.

Amazing service! The guys were very friendly and professional. I got estimates from three other guys and these were the most affordable. I was amazed at their speed and knowledge. I definitely recommend Modern Appliance to everyone!

We had to call this company to fix our dryer after another company stopped responding to our calls. There were two issues that sprouted from the original repair, and the other company was taking too long to respond. Thankfully this company was very prompt, had same day service, and fixed the problem quickly. Literally, all the tech did was give the barrel of the machine a little push to get it to start again. I felt that maybe the $45 service fee was a little steep since the fix was so simple and I had already spent about $100 with the other company until I gave up on them. Maybe I’m just bitter, but perhaps there could be some kind of lower fee category for people who are in my kind of situation.

Just want to add that my chihuahua liked the technician and didn’t bark her head off like she did with the previous two. :D

Our washer gave out but Modern Appliance response was quick. I was very impressed with their work. Kept us updated on arrival time too.

Stay away from this company/person. Never properly fixed the issue and gave me the runaround for two weeks claiming part was defective and was waiting for new one. Part never came, fridge still not fixed three weeks later!! Also , found part for $40 on EBay and will ship in two days!! Charged me $129 for the exact same part that he claims is on backorder for two weeks!!

Arturo was professional, explained the isssue with the washer and the repair was made on the spot and at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend his company.

Amazing service! They came out and fixed our dryer so fast. They keep you informed throughout the whole process (arrival, problems, etc.). Very professional, efficient, quality service, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

JR came to service my washer/dryer, 2 fridges, and assess my dishwasher. He is such a wonderful professional. I asked if he could come that day itself bc i wanted to capitalize on labor day sales. JR was so respectful of this call ...and was there within the hour. His assessment was right on. I appreciated JR proffesionalism. .

Wonderful service. My repairman showed up on time and after looking at my dishwasher for about a minute he knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. I will definitely use their service's again when needed and I highly recommend them.
