For many years Gonzalez has installed and serviced all our HVAC systems in my rental properties. His work is outstanding, and at great prices. I can trust him to do the job right.

The house is SO much more comfortable. And the system Gonzalez installed is much more efficient. We already notice lower energy bills as well. They do great work, and make sure you get the most out of your system.

Receptionist not very helpful nor friendly. The way they responded appeared they were being bothered by my call. (They installed HVAC 3yrs ago and initially insisted they did not install the unit as they had no record of same... after mentioning the name of the person who installed it, they acknowledged same)

I subsequently asked if someone could come out to the home to check HVAC as it was not cooling. No one could come out at the time nor for the following 2 months!

They were not accommodating nor pleasant at all. I subsequently called Airwest and they came out the same day, provided a diagnosis and replaced the part the next day!

From the 1st meeting we knew this was going to be a no hassle, streamlined and very well done install. We are briefed all thru the process, with everything installed in a timely manner. Chris did a great job getting us and keeping us on board. Highly recommended.

Because of the two AC units they installed our home has been super comfortable this summer. And we'll have our new heating units going this winter. We are very comfortable and happy with Gonzalez's services. Thank you very much!

Joshua Provided outstanding service. He was very Professional and Courteous and I was so Impressed with His Quality of Work!! Gonzalez heating and cooling are great. Came into town for funeral services and a/c at in laws went out. Called Gonzalez heating and cooling and they had someone there quickly and got it fixed. Mike and his crew are great, highly recommend them. Thanks Gonzalez heating and cooling.

Gonzalez cooling is probably the most professional, courteous, company I have dealt with in years. Racheal, Gabriel, and Neftal were completely fantastic. There service was on time and professionally done. If your considering a refrigeration unit look into Gonzalez. You won't be disappointed. Keep up the great work.

As a landlord and someone who has invested in real estate for many years, I have had the opportunity to work with many HVAC companies. And Gonzalez Heating and Cooling is the BEST I have worked with so far! Jorge the sales rep was great! Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the technician. They had to come to my house a second time to install a vent cover. I was told they were going to be home around 4:30 PM, but they got here an hour later. My son let them in and started to look for the vent in the garage, but didn't find it. He stepped away for 2 minutes to tell me that techs were here and to ask for the vent, but the technician said that he found it. This means they (the technician(s) )were in my garage searching for the vent without supervision and without permission. The technician installed the vent in less than 30 min. The problem is that he didn't tell me that they were done, they just left!
I was expecting a better services for the $9,100.00 I paid.

Great service, they installed my new HVAC last year and it went out this year, no fault of their own. They came out within a few days of me calling despite being booked and quickly got my unit up and running. Cold A/C worths it’s weight in gold in Ep summers. Thanks Gonzalez!

Gonzalez Mechanical did an excellent job installing my heating and cooling system. They were very courteous and professional, and very clean. When they were finished our house is so comfortable now. Great service and system!

Christopher helped us though a very stressful process. After having an AC installed by someone else, and having to remove it (which Christopher’s team did), the guys installed a new one. It works great. He’s been extremely responsive and communicative.

I agree with the comment below about the company being shady. They are awesome when they are getting your money but when theres an issue with the unit they LIE and become casper. My unit messed up 7/14/23 and we sent pictures. Rachel said that she would send someone Saturday to fix it (was under warranty) just needed to pay labor under 200 i said ok. They came Saturday said that it wasn't only the conductor but the compressor went out and that they would have to order it because no one had it in town. Rachel said she would send portable units Monday due to high temp. The 2 units that they bought were the ones that have vent hose that goes to the windows that should have a vent to close the hose so cool air stays in and hot air out. I tried calling Rachael to advise her and she said that she was in a meeting and couldn't talk (those were her excuses either in a meetings or driving SERIOUSLY 21ST CENTURY BLUETOOTH) texted her that the portable units werent working and she had the guy trying to cover the hose with carboard and duct tape. SERIOUSLY. She said thry didnt have anything else. I asked her if the part will be here Friday and she said yes and it would be close $1000.00 for labor. She advised that the guys would be at my house between 9-10 on 7/20. I texted her a couple and times and no response then called her. I was ghosted on Friday and Saturday. I called the office numerous times. David/Chris stated that nothing was scheduled for service at my house. I asked to speak with management and they said no one was there and that the owners were out of town. I was heated as much as it was outside. I kept calling Rachel and the office no response from anyone. The guy that came to service my house last Saturday called me around 3 he said he was going to the house and see what he could do. He said he went to the part store and they were going to call him back. I texted him after 4 he said he probably wouldn't get an answer till Saturday. Blew up Rachel's phone Saturday no answer or text till 1030am and guess what her excuse is SHES OUT OF TOWN no signal. The vendor states they wont have the part for 3-4 weeks due to backorder. I have family from out of town, my daughter works at home, and a 2 year old grandson with asthma and my house is over 90. I am going to have to book an airbnb to be comfortable in this heat. I wouldn't recommend this company for any service whatsoever.

Holy Cow!!! I want to thank everyone at Gonzalez Heating and Cooling for making my A/C conversion such a great experience. All throughout the process everyone was very courteous, from the front desk to the electricians and installers. I would definitely recommend their service to anyone. Ask for Rachel Navarro, her jaw-dropping knowledge of their products will leave you at ease knowing that your're dealing with professionals. Also, thank you Roberto and Lino for being so punctual and for working so diligently. Congratulations on such a great team!

It was time. We made the switch to refrigerated air, and went ahead and got our furnace replaced with a new central heating unit. This system already feels amazing this summer. And I am looking forward to a cozy winter also. The team that installed our unit was prompt and did a great job. Awesome customer service and professionalism.

My son had his AC unit not functioning properly a few months ago. The air handler unit is up in the attic. The outside compressor would kick on, but it was not communicating with the inside unit. “Christian” came out to check and and just barely poked his head up through the attic trap door, heard some clicking noises, and then declared that the air handler had to be replaced at a cost of $5000, or they could do the entire system to include the outside unit for $8000. He did not even bother to check the unit itself. I told my son that seemed excessive and he should call another company. He did so, and that technician went up into the attic to physically check the unit. A new blower motor and a couple of relays later, everything was fixed for 800 bucks.

I used this company for routine spring maintenance about 3 years ago on my 2 units. The lazy tech did not bother to clean out the condensate pumps. He said it was not needed, just poured a bit of bleach down the tube into the reservoirs.

Service Technician Octavio was incredibly nice and professional. Our AC stopped working and we ended up having to wait for a part to be ordered before it could be fixed under warranty, our two year old son was not happy and we were miserable. Octavio brought us a small AC unit that we were able to put in his room until our central unit could be fixed. He went the extra mile and was super helpful. 10/10 recommend.

I have called Gonzales Heating and Cooling 3 times this month to handle 3 separate ac installs and each time they were on time, professional and so nice. They even traveled to our house in Ruidoso to install. Will be recommending them to anyone I know for future work needed!

This place is extremely shady. They are great to get their new system installed, but disappear after that. I called in late June to have a routine maintenance performed on it. I agreed to a date over 3 WEEKS LATER. Because their mornings are filled with new installs, their only appointment time is 3:30.

Their phone voicemail says they’re open until 4, which is a total lie. Try calling after 3:30, which I have done many times, and you are sent to voicemail.

This is the second time they have no showed and didn’t call to say they were late or to reschedule.

Do not even think about using these clowns. You will be sorry!
