Cold Truth is the best. They have serviced our house for many years. Their service with our older units was awesome and then when we needed both AC units replaced their price and install was top notch. They continue to service us today. They are timely and always have the best price for their great service. Can't say enough about Terry and their team.

I got quotes from multiple companies some of them are high and some of them are low, but then I went with them based on the recommendations from Neighbours. They are experts in what they do. They explained the whole process and addition of new parts as part of the installation. They did exactly what was promised. I also added Halo Reme UV light. Technicians who installed are very good and their workmanship is outstanding. Frisco city inspector also appreciated the work. Yes, Coldtruth took care of City Permits and Inspection.

I have two Lennox HVAC units, 13 years old; one is a five ton and the other is a one and a half ton. I pulled off the evaporator coil inspection panels and I could see the Lennox evaporator coils were rusting.

I got HVAC quotes to replace both HVAC systems with Trane HVAC systems. It didn’t make financial sense to replace two 13-year-old HVAC systems, that were working great, except for the rusting Lennox evaporator coils. HVAC companies I contacted were quick to recommend replacement of the HVAC systems, except for The Cold Truth Air company. They explained they replaced evaporator coils all the time. The main selling point was when they said they could replace the Lennox evaporator coils with Trane coils. Due to my 13-year-old Lennox coils rusting, I had no interest in replacing the Lennox coils, with new Lennox evaporator coils. The Trane aluminum evaporator coils came with new cabinet housings, a ten year warranty on the coils and a two-year warranty on parts and labor. They also replaced the drain pans, filter dryers, and added HVAC automatic cut-off switches to the drain lines.

The installation of the Trane evaporator coils, into my two Lennox HVAC systems took approximately four hours. The installation job was excellent and I highly recommend The Cold Truth company. They will not give you a hard sell sales pitch on a new HVAC system when there are alternatives to keeping your HVAC system running more efficiently and economically.

No matter what system do you choose for your house - the most important day of its life is the day it gets installed. Following all manufacturers instructions and industry standards is a key for the system performance and its longevity. I'm happy that I've chosen The Cold Truth to install a new system for me - they did everything top notch, explained every nuance of the system operation, made sure every vent is operating as it should. I was also happy to see a very experienced technician doing the initial quote instead of the "salesman". Terry from The Cold Truth came to give me an estimate and just 2 days later - he came back with his crew to do the install. Top quality work and I'm extremely happy with the 2 stage Trane system - mostly silent operation during the day but kicks it up into stage 2 during the hottest time to keep family cool and comfortable. Don't look any further - this is the only company you should work with! I've had The Cold Truth install new systems at both my previous and current house and we couldn't be happier with the quality of work, expertise, customer service, and value that they provide.

One of my good neighbors (known for researching before considering any one contractor), recommended The Cold Truth a/c (after my normal install/repair service failed to reply for 2 days). It was already late in the day, so The Cold Truth sent a service specialist the next day. The service tech was great!!! He checked my system, verified the problem, ordered the replacement fan motor, then went to pick it up and installed it. He also noticed that the drip pan on my 2nd A/C unit was not installed properly, so went to the hardware store for some PVC pipe and fixed it too (no extra charge!)..
I appreciated the service enough to ask for their summer and winter A/C service (maintenance & cleaning) too; completed all on the same day!

I have used them through American home shield. The technician who came in to look at the issue was very professional but I had some issue after he fixed it. So when I tried reaching out to them ..I had a very unprofessional behavior from a lady. Instead of taking accountability for their work she started blaming me and saying it’s thermostat that’s defective. But the same thermostat is working perfectly fine with other units when I checked. I hope you guys would give your employe some proper training on how to interact with customers

We phoned Hikaye HVAC Services Frisco for aid when our furnace broke down and started producing strange noises. The expert arrived on schedule and looked at every aspect of the furnace very carefully. He cleaned several pieces and fixed one that was loose so that they would work again. The system worked fine again once everything was put back together. Before they left, the technician took sure to test the equipment, and everything appeared clean and professional.

When we moved into our new place, the HVAC system looked like it hadn't been touched in a decade. I called for a full inspection and cleaning before the rainy season hit. They were fantastic. They found a small leak in the refrigerant line that would have definitely caused a breakdown later this year. They fixed it on the spot and even helped me program my smart thermostat to be more eco-friendly. It’s nice to deal with a crew that is knowledgeable about modern energy-saving tech but still has that old-school work ethic.
