I’m pleased to leave a 5-star review for Chris and the team at Neil Heating and AC. My 20-year-old upstairs AC unit finally gave out, and I began collecting bids for a replacement. Chris was the last person I spoke to—and I’m so glad I reached out.

They responded quickly to schedule a visit, provided a thorough overview of their services, and explained their installation process clearly. Their bid came in as the most competitive, and they were able to schedule the installation within just two days.

The installation team was excellent—professional, courteous, and clean. They took the time to walk me through the new system, explained how it works, and gave me a great overview of future maintenance needs.

I can’t say enough good things about Chris and his team. I’m very glad I chose them, and I wholeheartedly recommend Neil Heating and AC to anyone in need of heating or cooling services.

My husband and I recently purchased our home and knew we would likely need a complete HVAC replacement sooner rather than later. We called Neal’s to come check our old systems and give us a quote for a new system. One of our units used R22 so we realized we would need to replace it as Freon is hard to get for those and it was low. Our upstairs unit was functional but not great. Jesse helped us understand our old units and advised us on how to improve the heating and cooling in our home. After some thought and many questions, we decided to replace both our upstairs and downstairs units with Carrier Performance systems.

Neal’s was able to get us in the same week we signed the contract and our install was done in one day. Arturo, Gersham, Noe, and Jesse did a great job on our installations. They were respectful to our home, taking care to protect our home from damage and we were blown away at how much nicer the interior and exterior units looked. These guys take the time to really make everything look great. Our systems are running well so far and we’ve already seen an improvement in the humidity levels and cooling in our house. We also appreciated the text alerts for scheduling and arrival.

Chris and his team are first class. They went the extra mile to insure my satisfaction and the price was very fair I believe. I would recommend them to anyone with out any hesitation. They made a very uncomfortable situation for my family as easy as I think possible. If you have A/C needs do yourself a favor and call them.

I knew about Neal Heating & A/C after searching the air conditioning repair market in my area. I decided to contact them because of their excellent reviews, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint me. Chris, G, and Juan did an incredible job. They explained every detail and made sure everything was perfect. They even gave us tips for maintaining the unit. If you need reliable and quality service at a reasonable price, don't hesitate to contact them.

I am very happy with the quick work of Neal’s team. They completed the replacement of my AC units within 2 days of our call, in the hottest point of the summer. They left our home clean and cool (!). Juan and Gershom were great, friendly, and knowledgeable. They performed HVAC service maintenance at a reasonable price and provided some tips to keep my HVAC operating efficiently. I look forward to having them back in the spring to get me ready for the summer!

Feb 19, 2026- Had to get filters installed but was unable to remove the cover due to extra sealant blocking it. Gershom and Juan came out the same day and took care of it and replaced the filters at the same time. Quick and efficient.

Chris and his team (Gershom, Juan) did an amazing job with installing our new AC units - from giving a very competitive quote on day one, answering all of our questions honestly and direct, advising us on options - to coming on time and installing the units (furnace and condenser). They worked all day to get them installed and even came by after to do QC and make the necessary changes. We would highly recommend Chris and his company Neal Heating & AC. Thankful they came out to replace our whole unit. After being told by another company we would spend anywhere between 15k - 25k. Neal Heating and AC came in at a price we thought was more fair. They came with the recommendation from two family members and did not fail us. Chris is well versed in his trade, and earned the trust of my husband, which is sometime a hard feat to concur. He and his team know what they are doing. Thankful again they came out in the heat and height of the summer temperatures. Job we'll done! We will spread the word and recommend Neal to all in need of AC and heating work, repair or replacement.

Gershom, Daniel, and Juan have been able to come out in last minute notices several times. They’ve always been so kind and professional and also letting me know what exactly was wrong with our AC unit. They showed integrity and honesty, lowering my total cost of repair by 50% of initial diagnosis. That means a lot in today’s economy! I actually always request these techs specifically for any service calls as they’ve built that trust and good working relationship with our family. Thank you guys for not overcharging me and for saving us from the Texas heat, it means the world!

I've had Neal's replace 2 A/C units, at different times. They were amazing to work with. Gershon, Noe, and Arturo took care of everything so quickly and quietly whike I was on video call meetings. Fabulous company.

I don’t know where to start. I thought it was crazy that a company would have a perfect 5-star rating here, but they are not kidding. I now understand! Great experience all around. My furnace wasn’t working and Chris was quick to schedule, very responsive. G and Juan showed up on time and figured out what was wrong, did a fantastic job, very friendly, very professional. They went so far as to remove their shoes when entering, I can’t even get my own family to do that. Great price too. They even neatened up the gas connection. I will 100% be using Neal HVAC for anything that comes up in the future.

2025 Review:

15 years ago, Chris at Neal HVAC saw how helpless/desperate my wife and I were with our hobbling AC system. He took amazing care of us and installed a new HVAC system with all the bells and whistles available at the time. He basically made a customer for life in 2010. 15 years *later*, Chris and his team did exactly the same thing with our new 2025 HVAC system. Flawless installation in less than a day (and with perfectly mild weather to boot), meticulous cleanup, and fantastic customer service as always. For 3 dudes rooting around in our hallway and attic installing the thing, you'd have thought they were trained by ninjas. Throughout the entire day, Chris, Juan and G didn't disrupt or "get in the way" of my wife and I while we worked from home, and got it all done without a hitch. Chris even updated the pedestal that our outside unit would sit on so now it will remain safe, dry and out of the way of any rainwater. Excellent job, but who are we kidding -it was totally expected. Thanks again Chris and Neal HVAC! You guys are the best.

Neal HVAC has outstanding service and has truly exceptional people. I've used them several times, and they've been fantastic every time. A while back, I had a serious problem that another company couldn't fix despite over a year of repeated visits and multiple charges. I gave up on them and called Neal HVAC and they came out quickly, diagnosed the issue, and resolved it right away.

Most recently, I had a small problem and they came out immediately. The technicians arrived, pinpointed the issue right away, fixed it efficiently, and was on their way. Everyone I've dealt with is friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The owner treats you like he's working on his own home with no high-pressure sales, no scare tactics, no pushing unnecessary upgrades. Just honest, reliable service.

Neal HVAC was terrific.

I picked them because they are locally owned and had a wall of five-star reviews. Now I know why. When I called, the owner answered the phone himself and was out at my house within hours to look over the system. That alone impressed me.

What I appreciated most was how straightforward he was. I told him I like simple systems and do not want to be upsold into a bunch of extras. He was exactly that kind of guy. Honest, practical, and easy to talk to. He gave me confidence right away.

The install team was just as good. They went out of their way to be friendly, communicative, and respectful throughout the job. You could tell right away this is a team with a great culture. They show up like they enjoy working together, take pride in the work, and actually care about the customer experience.

That combination is hard to find: responsive owner, no-pressure recommendations, great communication, and a crew that clearly works well together.
