This place advertises on social media but is all bait and switch. Nothing advertised is offered at the prices advertised. Everything is broken looking and significantly higher than advertised. The employees just sit on their phones and pretend to know nothing of the advertisements.

The staff is very helpful and definitely helpful! We can’t wait to start our new beginning with ya!!!

Busy man but did make appointment and had the part needed for repair with him. Was friendly and a all together good person to be around and would use him again.

Major Appliance did an awesome job with our new oven install. They were also amazing at communicating where we were in the process and what times we could expect them.

Had these guys out to work on our LG refrigerator. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Would definitely use them again and would also recommend them to friends and family.

Highly recommend Major Appliance! I could not say enough positive things about them! Excellent and prompt service, communication, knowledgeable (they’ve seen it all, done it all, and know it all!) and they tell you all the information you need to know. Incredibly friendly as well, which is icing on the cake. They will be the only repair service I use from now on.

Byron came out on Saturday, January 4, 2020, to look at our 30 year old dryer that was making a funny noise. He was able to fix the dryer at a very reasonable price. We would highly recommend Major Appliance for any appliance repairs!! Greg Simmons

I am so glad we stumbled upon Eric and Byron yesterday, literally. Long story, short version. We ended up buying a particular speed queen washer and dryer from them instead of an appliance store mainly based on their honest comments about what is out there. They delivered said appliances the same day, when connecting the washer we had a failure in the cpvc line right at the valve.(20 year old piping). They didn’t miss a beat, got the water shut off, grabbed a shop vac , cleaned up the water on the floor and repaired the pipe and valve and saved us from calling a plumber. This simple little drop off turned into a couple hour event for them and not once did they panic or complain. I now have a new appliance repair and sales company that I will use as long as I live in the houston area. Check them out people, you won’t be disappointed

This is a company I would never recommend to anyone. We own multiple homes in Houston and none of the regular people we use were available so we decided to give this company a shot.

Have you ever been yelled at on the phone by the owner of a business because my sister can attest to that not feeling great.

Have you ever been working from home for the day and mid-shower between calls hear the man who thinks he’s home alone with your mom and the cleaning woman yelling on the phone at your sister?

First of all - speaking in any raised tone of voice to

a) a woman - unacceptable
b) a customer - unacceptable
c) someone who repeatedly asks you to lower your voice and control your tone - unacceptable

The terms of service aren’t given to you before hand so even if they come out to give you an estimate and have to remove a small appliance from bracketing to give you a diagnoses - they’re going to charge you 65 bucks for the effort.

The gentleman who identified himself as the owner said he’s been in business for 40 years. Based on the 5 yelp reviews left by what I can only assume is friends and family....well....I have my doubts we weren’t fed a few lines by someone who realized they made a mistake but rather than compromising or offering the diagnosis for free as the service charge was never discussed and securing the future business...this man chose to throw a tantrum and scare my mom who was home with him.

Thank goodness I work from home the majority of the time. I was so disappointed and will be filing a complaint with the bbb and any licensing authorities in the state of Texas as well.

You should never have to ask someone to leave your house 5 times.
