The technician who came out was very nice and professional - he did a great job with the repair. The pricing seemed very high, though. He fixed a leaking disposal with no new parts in under an hour and charged me $600. I’ll call around next time.

Freddy with Texas Quality Plumbing did an excellent job replacing a spigot and shut off valve at my home. He was very professional, respectful and efficient. He made sure I was completely satisfied and had me check everything before he left. I appreciated him taking his time in answering all my questions and concerns. Would highly recommend.

Exceptional Service by technicians Irving and Reuben. Timely, consistent and knowledgeable of their skills. I was updated through each step of the way. The technicians cleaned up after themselves at every portion of their work. Truly impressive work and would recommend them both through this company at any time and to anyone. This is the worse company that I have ever used. My appointment was scheduled from 12 to 2. I called to the co. Several times to check on the expected time because I had a doctor appointment for 2:30 and had not heard from a tech. So I canceled my dr. Appointment because my water was off. After calling the co. after the appointment time,the tech finally called to say he would be another hour and 45 minutes before he would arrive. The tech arrived to my home around 4 o'clock. After looking at my issue, he gave me a quote for $575.00 to change the leaking turn off valve to my toilet. I explained to him that it took me 10 minutes to replace a valve that the sales person sold me at Home Depot, but it was the wrong one. So I decided to call a plumber to finish the job. So I told them to get out of my house and I did not pay that ridiculous price. So I went to Lowes and the gentleman at Lowes helped me to get the correct parts. Came home and cut off the incorrect part and attached the correct one. Turned the water back on and no more leaks. It only took me 10 minutes to cut, apply the primer and cement and drying time was 15 minutes. This repair only cost me 25.29. And they wanted to charge me $575.00.. so sad 😞

Claudio was professional and very thorough in his explanation of my gas leak issue. He was able to provide options from best to worst case scenario and all within a reasonable price. He also explained the dangers of the issue without making me feel pressured (greasy car salesman). I was given options to assess my option with a camera and informed about their membership package perks.

Richard came out to help me with my plumbing problems I didn't know what the problem quite was but he helped me figure it out immediately and he helped me find my outside drain which was buried under the grass.
He was very kind and helped me solve all my problems and was able to fix the problem we had he went above and beyond and I greatly appreciate him coming out very good bedside manner! I highly recommend Richard to everybody he's a very good guy!

I shopped around for quotes on flushing my tankless water heater and was shocked at how expensive most companies were charging. Then I found Texas Quality Plumbing and their membership plan completely changed my mind the affordable membership price included the flush, which made it a no brainer.

Claudio came out the very next day, explained the entire process clearly, and showed real expertise throughout the job. He did an outstanding, thorough flush and left everything spotless. Super professional and friendly service!

Our technician Daniel was great. He got here early and checked our gas line and answered all my questions. Definitely glad we had him come by to make sure everything was good.

Manny was very professional and friendly. I was contacted prior to my appointment and given an estimated time of arrival. Very punctual. He examined our toliet, informed me what needed to be done, and gave an estimated price. Manny kept me informed throughout the installation process and addressed any concerns I had. Luis did an excellent job on my blocked drain. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything so I could understand. He answered questions that I wanted to know about the insurance that I had gotten with the Home Serve. The service was professional, efficient and friendly and I have confidence it was fixed right. I truly appreciate his hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.

David V. from Texas Quality Plumbing was great. He helped me figure out why my water wasn’t working and quickly found the water was shut off at the meter. He explained everything clearly (where the shutoff is, what position it should be in, and how to read the meter to check for leaks). He turned the water back on, tested it, and made sure everything in the house was functioning properly.

He also went above and beyond by testing my water hardness and walking me through what the results mean, plus how to maintain faucets/aerators and what to consider if I want filtration. I appreciated that he took the time to educate me instead of just rushing out.

On top of that, he answered a ton of questions I had about replacing bathroom faucets, shower heads, and toilets. He explained what would be simple vs. what would require modifications, and even helped me confirm the correct toilet rough-in (12”). Very professional, respectful, and patient. Highly recommend.

I arranged to have a bathroom sink drain P-trap and tail piece replaced at my grandparents' house (see pictures). I used the Thumbtack app to contact Texas Quality Plumbing and arranged to have the repair done on 12/4/25. Cedric M. (#35) completed the repair as shown in the second picture. I, however, was unable to be present that day. The amount Cedric billed my grandparents for the repair was $1,002! This was for a two hour job with approx. $60 worth of parts! I have attempted for the last two months to resolve this and have had no progress. The company has been completely unwilling to provide an itemized receipt and explain why the amount was so high and will likely only point to the fact that businesses in TX can charge any amount they choose with no agency regulation. At the end of the day, this is a company that apparently charges whatever amount they want with zero explanation and no written quote and will even overcharge and scam the elderly. Let your family and neighbors know to never use this company!!!

I am absolutely thrilled with the outstanding plumbing service I received today from Richard, which easily earns a five-star rating. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and resolved my issue efficiently with impressive expertise. Richard went completely above and beyond my expectations, demonstrating a level of care and work ethic that truly sets this company apart. (I called the office, left a detailed voicemail, and also emailed the manager five days ago. I have not received any response.

Their reply on Google makes it seem like they are willing to help, but in reality they have not followed through at all. I’m posting this update so others can be fully informed before choosing this company.)

My home warranty company sent Texas Quality Plumbing to check my water softener, and I paid a $100 service fee. The technician didn’t make it to the first scheduled appointment — understandable, things happen — but when she finally came another day, the diagnosis was careless at best.

The main issue was that the power to the water softener goes on and off whenever the power cable is unplugged and plugged back in. The technician didn’t properly test anything. She spent more than 10 minutes on the phone with her office, barely examined the unit, and didn’t use any tools to check the power line or the system. I even have a 21-minute video showing she did almost nothing.

After countless follow-up calls, TQP finally submitted a report — with one single photo and no meaningful details. My home warranty denied the claim, saying it was a “pre-existing condition.” That’s unacceptable. A professional technician should perform a real diagnosis, not just take a picture and leave.

Honestly, this was one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve had. Even calling TQP afterward was frustrating — every call felt like it was being handled by an automated system, not a real person. Based on my experience, I seriously doubt the authenticity of many of the glowing Google reviews for this company.

Be professional, TQP. Do the job right and respect the customers who pay you.

I had a great experience with Texas Quality Plumbing. Daniel came out to flush my water heater tanks and did an excellent job from start to finish. He was professional, patient, and very thorough. What really stood out was the time he took to explain what was going on inside the tanks, their current condition, expected remaining life, and overall quality. He also gave practical, honest recommendations without any pressure to upsell. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood the reasoning behind his suggestions.
