Amazing experience! Heater went out a few days ago. Went to a corporate competitor first, quoted $3000 for needed replacement part plus charged extra fee for after hours service call. Called A Better Deal for a second opinion. Andrew came out, on a Saturday night, with no additional after hours or weekend fees and replaced the same quoted part for $700 in less than an hour!
I will recommend this company to any and everyone I come across!

I have been a customer for almost 15 years. Bought new a/c units from them and been nothing but satisfied. Love working with John came out today because a capacitor got shorted out from the recent storm. Up and running in not time. Thank you

No nonsense technician. Determined issue and solved. As an engineer, this is my kind of technician I was looking for. I knew what the issue was but we are new to town and trying to find an honest HVAC company. Sure enough, diagnosed the right part, quote where I expected to be and solved during that trip. Bottom line, We found our team to use going forward. I don’t give out 5s easily but here’s one.

It is hard to find honest, caring, knowledgeable HVAC companies. My upstairs HVAC unit was only 18 months old when it stopped working. The parts were under warranty but the service had ran out. I paid the original installer to fix it and it quit working a day later. He refused to come back out again. I called another company who told me I would have to replace the entire unit outside and inside, thousands of dollars basically. He also said he would have to diagnose it first for $400 to be sure!

I then called A Better Deal thanks to several people recommending them on the next door app. Ray and another guy came out and did all kinds of readings on the inside and outside, even checked my other unit. They were so kind, so knowledgeable and thorough and barely charged me anything. He comes inside and tells me it’s fixed. Basically they were a God send. Beyond grateful! I have dealt with 5-10 different HVAC companies over the years and this company is by far the best.

The dispatcher was very understanding & set up an appointment for us very quickly. The Technician, Jacob, was extremely professional & courteous! He explained everything to us & worked quickly to resolve the issue. I genuinely appreciate this company as a whole for helping us, especially in this Texas heat and having little people at home. We got quotes from 5 different companies and I am glad this is the last one we got it from. We chose them as they told us what the issue was. Chaz and Angel were so nice and very knowledgeable during the whole process from estimate quote to replacing unit. Harry came out with them and was also very nice no up selling it was like a family member was doing the service honestly. Unfortunately diagnosis was replacement of unit but they had all bases covered detailing what had to be done to the financing if we needed it and communication from April was so great in that aspect. All the other companies said we can get this done same day Texas Pride and Air said we can’t do it till about four days later which is good cause that means to me they are reputable and have a strong constant clientele . They even saw our upstairs unit and said it’s in good working condition. I will recommend them to anyone and use them in the future. Thank you!!

Amazing service! My A/C went out and needed to be replaced. Chaz and his team were at my home first thing in the morning. After reviewing what was needed, they were on the job next day to do a full a/c & furnace replacement. Texas pride is a small family operated company. It was a pleasure working with them.

Texas Pride got to me sooner than I expected and had my AC up and running in a short time. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Brantley was very thorough in reviewing my system and diagnosing the issues with my AC System. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything that was going on and did not rush through anything even though it was later in the evening. Same day service with a late in the day call from Texas Pride was unexpected and very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Not only are they on time, they were able to come the same day that we called. Very polite professional and gave us their honest opinion and pricing. And we're even nice enough to give us a referral for an electrician when we needed one. Jacob the tech that came out today is always very knowledgeable, and has always put our mind at ease with worries when it comes to our system. When we got our system two years ago from Texas pride heating and Air he was one of the ones that came out the first time, even my husband says he goes the extra mile for the customer and that's really appreciated. Duncan took the time to talk me through my options and explained the best ways for me to ensure my satisfaction as a customer regarding quality installation, reputable service, and unit and labor warranties. The information allowed me to feel comfortable and educated going into this large purchase decision, which the other companies struggled to do. Texas Pride is very professional and I have used their services for our numerous rental properties. This call was for a rental property on a weekend and they were responsive and got it back operational within hours. They communicated on the way to the appointment and after appointment to let me know how it was repaired. Their prices are also very reasonable.

I contacted Texas Pride Heating and Air after being advised by another service provider that our AC unit had become disconnected in our attic. Brantley and Jacob were assigned to my service call and were GREAT! True professionals and very knowledgeable about their trade. They were very transparent and kindly walked me through the issue and remediation steps with complete clarity. They educated me about our AC and Heating system as well as suggested a few maintenance actions to keep things running smoothly. The price seemed fair - while I’m not the most well versed regarding pricing for this type of service, there was no sticker shock from the total cost. Happy to make Texas Pride our regular provider moving forward.
