I have used A Better Deal for nearly a decade now, and I will not use anyone else. Andrew has always been a straight shooter with me, and has always gone above and beyond in order to make my repair complete. I have on numerous occasions had Heating & A/C work done by him, as well as several light fixtures installed. He's extremely knowledgeable, does excellent work, and is totally fair on his prices. In the elecrical/heating & air realm, it's difficult to find someone you can trust, but I've found that with A Better Deal over and over. Superb company, I highly recommend!

Ray is great, on time, courteous, he has been serving my 2 hvac units for the last 2 years. He fixes something if it’s broken and doesn’t try to sell me a whole new unit.

We were stuck for over 4 months without a functioning HVAC system, invested into a new one via the insurance and still the system would freeze ! Multiple people kept coming in to diagnose the issue but nothing worked and we just kept shelling out money for different theories ! It was Andrew who came in quickly to assess the problem

VERY SHADY - I got an outrageous quote for $980 for a blower motor replacement - When I asked the price of the part….things went south- Called the office…lady plays dumb and says call the tech…call the tech and he won’t answer the same question- I turned them away immediately after they couldn’t answer a SIMPLE question. Needless to say I ordered the part for under $400 and my cousin and I had it in by 20 minutes. Save the $500 in labor for a simple 20 minute repair - STAY AWAY and find an ACTUAL Better Deal…

This company should be called “A Fantastic Deal”. Called them in the last year. Both times extremely pleased I every aspect of the business. Both, John and Tom Foster were very professional, pleasant, fair in suggesting what really needed to be done. No trying to upsell anything. Integrity, honesty and punctuality are valued by this company. Will definitely be a very happy repeat customer.

Very impressed with the service we got. We had a leak in our AC unit that was soaking the carpet in the room next door. Called A Better Deal at around 6:30 p.m. and had a technician at our place by 9:30 p.m. His name was Andrew, and after looking it over, he said we would need a plumber due to it being a pipe issue. Then he came back a few minutes later with a tool to unclog the pipe that he had in his truck. Within seconds, he had it fixed, and at no charge!! Will definitely keep this company in mind next time we have any need for an HVAC repair.

Our A/C went out last summer over a holiday. Andrew was able to come to our home about 11:00pm. Fixed the problem at a reasonable price.
Our unit is over 20 years old, so we knew the time was coming. Rather than wait till it quit, we moved forward with a new Lennox unit. Upgraded a tad to accommodate our square footage. Today we installed all new ductwork to replace our existing failing and full of holes ductwork. Our heat is amazing, so much better than the aging system we had.

Nearly a decade ago, I replaced my furnace and A/C system. I was told that if I continued to use A Better Deal to perform semi-annual inspections, that the warranty would continue indefinitely. This week, my thermostat failed rendering the unit inoperable. They replaced the thermostat at no charge since it was warranted under this original agreement. This saved me more than $900. I couldn't believe that a business like this today still maintained a high level of integrity and honesty. I knew that they always took good care of us, but this latest service call pleasantly surprised me. Thank you A Better Deal. I really appreciate your service.

This is my 2nd time using these guys, and there's a reason I called on them again. My AC stopped cooling in the middle of the night last night. I called A Better Deal at 4 AM. A real person answered the phone! By 10 AM, my issue was fixed. Less than 7 hours after my AC conked out, I am now relaxing at the park with my daughter, knowing my house is cooling. Would give this company six stars if I could. Saved me from an $1100 bill from Baker Bros for work that didn’t need to be done. I had the dreaded realization my AC unit had failed somehow today, making some awful noises and heating up while not blowing any cool air.

After some Google research as well as reading through several threads, I stumbled across A Better Deal, and am very thankful I did. Andrew came out within a couple hours of my call on a late Thursday evening, and had the fan motor replaced within an hour. He was up front about pricing, and was able to explain (in layman's terms) what was going on as well as the different options I had to address the issue.

Would highly recommend, and would use again in the future should any issues arise.
