Had Kahl A/C come out to look at an upstairs furnace motor that had stopped working, along with five other highly rated local A/C companies.

Their technician, Dillon, was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He immediately diagnosed the issue and mentioned he had seen it several times before.

Their quote beat everyone else’s, and I was 100% happy to have them do the work. We've used other A/C companies in the past, but I’ve thrown away all their phone numbers. These guys are honest, fast, respectful of your time, and extremely good at what they do.

Since moving to Montgomery about 10 years ago I have had several contractors come to my house to address issues. Kahl has stood out as superior compared to their competition. Reached out this morning for system check and within the hour they were ready to come service our unit. Joshua was the gentleman assigned. He provided prompt and professional service. He did not try to up sell but eloquently explained how my system is running and suggested actions we could take in the future to get the most of my equipment. I highly recommend Kahl AC and Joshua is an awesome technician.

Hector serviced our AC today and did a fantastic job. He explained everything that was serviced, made some suggestions for better air flow and told us about the Kahl Comfort Club. We've used Kahl for several years and Hector joins all the other excellent technicians at Kahl.

Your technicians were fantastic! We lost our 5-Ton unit Saturday night, 10pm. Dustin arrived by 4 pm Sunday afternoon, did the troubleshooting and ordered the replacement control board. On Monday evening Hector was available for the replacement install. Both were excellent, but the final outcome was Surprisingly Superb considering the unit was a 2013 model by Carrier, and the Control Electronics were no longer available, Dustin was able to identify, locate, and order an appropriate substitute, and it was successfully installed by Hector. Thank you gentlemen!

Technician Dylan was not only very professional and thorough, but also took the time to clearly explain all of our options and what was needed, which really put us at ease. The installers showed up right on time at 8:00 a.m. the next morning. I didn’t catch the head installer’s name, but he was just as professional and courteous as Dylan. The whole team worked efficiently, had everything completed by 2:00 p.m., and left the space spotless.

From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. We truly appreciate the care and professionalism shown and would highly recommend Kahl A/C to anyone in need of quality service.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Nathan Gonzalez. He came out to my home for the first time about two weeks ago when my blower motor went out, and I was already days without AC in this Texas heat. From the moment he arrived, he was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring.

Nathan immediately diagnosed the problem, explained everything in a way I could understand, and — instead of just leaving me to wait for the ordered part — he installed a universal blower motor so I wouldn’t have to go without AC any longer than I already had. That small act of kindness meant the world to me.

Today, he returned to install my actual part, and once again, he went above and beyond. Not only did he complete the work quickly and efficiently, but he also gave me helpful tips to keep my system running smoothly. We had an issue with our AC. I called woodlands plumbing and air conditioning because they advertised as "family owned". I also let our uncle know what was going on in MI. (He owns an HVAC company in MI). Woodlands quoted us 3-8k to fix the issue! Yes 8,000! (We also found out the company was no longer family owned). We all laughed & said bye! We knew it was not that big of a problem!
THEN!!! friends referred to us KAHL! They came out right away! Prior to our technician arriving KAHL sent us a text w a pic of our technician Dustin, his background, knowledge and experience in the business. As it turned out Dustin was also a Marine! (Semper fi).! And YES they are still family owned. Our tech fixed the issue, was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable! Our AC was fixed, still works great and the repair cost us 380-500! HONEST, CLEAN and DEPENDABLE!! YES YES YES I 100% recommend KAHL!!!

Nathan is an outstanding HVAC tech. We were very pleased with the maintenance visit. He cleaned the coils, checked the entire system, and tested the heater. He was friendly and answered all of our questions. Looking forward to a long relationship with KAHL HVAC.

Kahl is the best AC company I’ve used since becoming a homeowner over 30 years ago. Our AC went out and Kahl was quick to send someone to help. Dustin arrived to our rescue from the Summer heat. Dustin was outstanding to work with and is very professional and courteous while also being extremely knowledgeable! Dustin took the time to explain the issues with our AC and provided options to fit our budget. We will be signing up for the annual service to help keep our unit in tip top shape!

Alex was amazing and wow did he work very hard on the install in Texas heat! Alex was outstanding and very skilled at his craft! I am so thankful that we have AC cooling the house again. Jesse is a very knowledgeable technician. He arrived on time and immediately went to work. He communicated status of our two a/c units. Jesse replaced the median filters on both units and had them both working to proper levels. I always feel confident in Jesse's work and recommendations.

Thank you Kahl for Coming out to address our issues so quickly! We schedule the appointment between eight and 10 on a Monday morning and the technician got here just a little bit after 8 AM and gave us plenty of notice for whenever he was on the way. Dillon Fillmore was our technician and he provided a lot of information and some helpful tips, I give him a five star rating. He was also very professional and timely, I look forward to working with him in the future! We have the maintenance package where they don't charge anything to come out so I didn't have to pay a dime today.

Kahl HVAC provides EXCEPTIONAL service - they replaced two builder grade HVAC systems with one highly efficient variable speed three zone system in our home in Woodforest over three years ago and we have been extremely pleased with the system, installation and on going service. We have had lighting strikes and power surges in the area over the years which sometimes does not play well with such a computer controlled system, however, Kahl's has remote service access so they notify us and setup an appointment sometimes before we even know there is something wrong with the system. Just today it was acting up with error codes so I request a service call. Even though it was late morning on a Friday they did everything they could to get us scheduled before the weekend. However, minutes later Bobby Thiry called and said based on his online view of the system diagnostics we just needed to change the batteries in our remote thermostat and everything would be fine - no service call needed and NO service charge. Many more similar stories of exceptional service - Great Local Family Owned Business that treats their customers right !! - HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR UPGRADING YOUR HVAC SYSTEM AND/OR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF EXISTING SYSTEMS.

Kahl is by far the best AC company I've dealt with. Thorough, efficient, helpful, cost effective. Their employees are excellent, and their customer service is why I recommend them to friends regularly. Dillon was here today, and he is just the nicest young man. These folks do business right.

Sometimes in life, especially in home ownership, you get news that just is hard to digest. Our upstairs unit finally gave up the ghost early in 2026 (better than mid-summer). KAHL was responsive going over all options but a new unit was needed (original manu 2005 with no problems throughout life until now). From call to final inspection courteous, quick, thorough, and honest. Everything you would want in an AC company. We have used them for two replacements (upstairs and downstairs over five years). While not fun it was as good as it gets given the news you need a new system… I love’em and would absolutely call them out if I had a problem.
