Thank you GEI for your service taking care of my plumbing issues this morning. Cynthia was so very kind in listening and scheduling my appt. Armando & Eduardo were great once they arrived . They found the problem, were very knowledgeable, friendly & efficient. It took no time to get the materials needed, returned within 30 min.and fixed the problem in no time. Told them I'll be calling them back in the future.

My husband hit a pipe while trying to install a TV wall mount. We called that night at 10pm and they came around 10am next day. Guy and Armondo did a great job tackling the repair, patching the wall up and they even installed the TV mount! I'm blown away with the service.

Showed up in the time frame and completed the job very fast! Sean and Daniel were polite, funny and did an amazing job! I highly recommend GEL Plumbing Services Pasadena!!

EDIT: the owner called me after my review to apologize for the poor service i recieved. I really appreciated the gesture. I will try them again next time, and definately give them another shot. I am upgrading my review from 2 star to 4 due to the generous customer service efforts.

They showed up quick. Flashed a flashlight around for a few minutes. Declared the whole thing broken. Quoted me $1500 for a new water heater. Did not speak English well enough to communicate. Just pointed at my water heater and said "Too old. No work."

I called another plumber the minute they left and he came to troubleshoot the problem. Turned out to be the thermocoupler. This 2nd plumber ordered the part and I am back up an running for only a couple hundred bucks and 2 days of waiting.

I wouldnt reccomend this company. The people they sent wasted their own time by coming by and pretending to know anything about water heaters. 2 stars because they were at least polite but completely ineffectual.

Daniel and Latham were both professional and very communicative. They explained what was needed and made sure the job was complete. I was given a two hour window for arrival and they were here within one hour. I would definitely recommend this service.

We’re extremely happy with the service. Called in the afternoon for a clogged yard drain. They came out to evaluate same day, when the competition was 5 days wait. Then they came back the following day to fix the problem and did some extra work during the time. The guys worked hard and had great communication. 10 out of 10 would recommend

(READ BOTH 1 OF 2) 575.00 for an hours work. And then wanted to charge me 280.00 to replace a wax ring!! Come on!!! I'm looking at recipts from the past 20 yrs and NEVER had to pay that much just to clean out my clean outs. And then they said they had to go 75ft. Well in the pictures it only shows they went 23 ft. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY. Oh and then when it was all finished he told me that I needed to have a cast iron pipe replaced for 3300.00. A six foot peice of pipe for 3300.00 give me a freaking break. I'm glad a work at a huge plant because everyone will know about this experience.

Well I must say this company has surprised me. They read the review, called me and refunded me 288.00 and then went one step ahead and came back to my house to do the wax ring for free. Now, I never expected or asked for ANYTHING free, however I do expect ppl to be honest and fair. Do I still think 3300 for a six ft pipe is ridiculous, absolutely!!! But, again, I do think they did the right thing in fixing the first issue. Would I call again? Yes

Same day service, very professional, polite & wonderful customer service. Very good price for such fast service & he made sure the job was done right! & let me know if he needed to come back what would need to be done and future prices and credits. Definitely recommend.

I called to have someone come out to check a leak under my kitchen sink and was able to get a same-day appointment, which was unexpected but appreciated.

The plumbers arrived and were professional and courteous. They explained the issue and gave me the estimate, which I agreed to. They left briefly to get the supplies they needed, returned, and quickly replaced all of the plumbing underneath my sink (which was definitely necessary).

I would definitely use them again.

GEI Plumbing Services is the best plumbing co. out there.
My water heater pilot light would not stay lit. When I spoke to the company owner Ivan, he had me send him a picture of the serial number. He responded back to me quickly and advised that the water heater was still under warranty. He just needed to request a replacement part from the manufacturer. Ivan took care of getting the part and having it shipped to me. I received it in 2 days. As soon as I received it, Ivan had his technician Daniel come out and got it working an hour later. Total labor $360.

I called John Moore plumbing. When the person came out he wanted to sale me a new water heater and other services. Not ready to work on existing problem that was advised at the time of requesting a service call. Quoted $ 1100. plus.
Wasn't even interested in attempting to reach out to warranty co. And I said I just want
the issue fixed.

Updating my previous review. The owner came out personally today to double check the work and is fixing all the issues I had laid out. I let him know that things do need to be communicated a bit better as that's what set me off yesterday when there had been issues. He was very apologetic and handled everything professionally. They are even replacing insulation where some of the work had been done. Thank you for making me feel more confident in my purchase. Would highly recommend.

A man named Charlie came to help me get an estimate together for a whole house re-pipe to PEX. He has many years of experience and outstanding knowledge in his field. I learned a lot from his honest input and feel good about business with him in the near future.

I’ve since had the galvanized piping replaced with PEX. The crew was driven to get the work done and double checked their work for good measure before leaving. They came back the next day to make sure I was satisfied, which I was, and made sure there were no loose ends.

I also had a filtration system installed by Charlie himself. He was very thorough paying attention to every detail and ensured the work was done to last. He went over how the system works and made sure I was well informed about what my house will be using.

Owner contacted me himself to make sure my service was done properly and that everything was satisfactory. That is above and beyond average service and shows that this company is all about their customers and getting the job done right. They were fast and willing to work with me. I would definitely contract them again in the future!

Very Professional and helpful! Called them with a water leak at my meter cause by a contractor. They came out within hours and repair everything. UPDATE:
Owner found us before we called back. Direct call from the owner, who spent the time to locate us. He apologized immediately and we explained the severe price difference and lack of explanation from their service worker was the issue. He said he would look into the matter and speak to them. He even offered a refund as well for the trouble and our time. The dedication of the owner immediately responding, finding us and taking the time to take in feedback and offer services in the future directly through his number has changed the rating from 1 to 4 stars.

Encountered an issue with the piping on my water well where a leak was occurring but then busted. Called GEI Plumbing Services and they came out at the specified timeframe, but that's about where it ends of good things.

Spoke to the plumber and was quoted $650 to fix the issue. $200 alone of the quote was for a 1inch brass ball valve, which can be found for $33 at home depot. I showed him this as well and he just gave me a confused look like he didn't understand why I was confused on how he's charging $200 for a part that's $33. I told him I disagreed with the $650 quote, that it didn't make sense to me, that I'm not trying to be insulting, I'm just confused.

He asked me how much I would charge for the fix (which in reality was simply swapping bad and good valve which involved cutting and replacing a 3ft section of pipe). I told him probably $200 for parts and labor, he not only scoffed and laughed in my face, said "no no", he then simply got in his truck and left.

The level of unprofessionlism and lack of discussion is why this business deserves 0 stars. My wife and I just paid for a bathroom remodel and any pricing questions we had, the remodeler immediately explained in depth the reasoning rather than laughing in our faces, was extremely professional and kind. This guy was the exact opposite. He was extremely rude, lacking any form of explanation or care for the customer and their questions, especially on pricing, which seemed, after our professional remodel which did include plumbing repairs/fixes, extremely high. There's a way to handle clientele and this was not it. We have video evidence of the rudeness on our ring cameras.

I would like to point out, I did do the project without him after receiving the quote and rudeness. I paid $53 for all the parts needed + extras and it took less than 30mins.
