Matt responded quickly, even on a holiday, provided a fair estimate, and was able to schedule the work for the next day. I received a text when he was on the way and he arrived on time. He was able to complete the diagnosis and repair quickly and answered all questions. Would definitely reach out to Hearthstone for any future A/C issues.

Matt did an excellent job for a very reasonable price.
My thermostat was indicating a fault and Matt found a bad capacitor and another part that was going bad. He fixed them both, cleaned up the outside unit and changed the filter.
He will be our Heat and AC professional from now on!

Highly recommend Matt! He saved us by quickly fixing our AC in the dead heat of summer (when I was 9 month pregnant). He showed up on time, even with having to go across DFW to pick up parts. Called Matt in the morning and he was able to slide our issue in with one of our A/C units by early afternoon. Super friendly, knowledgeable, very reasonable compared to other quotes and companies. We had a coil leak and had sticker shock from other vendors. Matt was fair, gave us options, has warranties in place for parts and labor, and was extremely responsive and on time. I contacted Matt last Thursday for a second opinion after receiving a large quote on an AC repair. Luckily he was available the next day to take a look. Matt was friendly to talk with, and professional and prompt in his work. He beat my other quote by several thousand dollars and repaired my system on the same day. I highly recommend working with Matt and will be calling him again for future work.

Our AC was failing and our renters were having to endure 80 degrees indoors in a Texas summer. Matt was able to come the same day I called and fix everything in a matter of a few hours. We asked a few questions about his recommendations for regular maintenance, and he was open about how little or how much is truly necessary—even telling us he didn’t think we’d especially need regular check ins unless we just wanted that. It is so helpful to be able to trust the advice, pricing, and work of an expert. Matt is knowledgeable, fair, and does great work for his customers. We highly recommend him!

I called due to my air conditioning unit not blowing cold air, and the technician was able to arrive and quickly diagnose the issue, confirm warranty information on the parts that is broken, and then replace it quickly. He looked at my AC system and informed me about my needing a new air filter without trying to sell me one. While nobody should ever look forward to getting their air conditioner fixed, I know exactly who to call when I need it!

Matt is great! I got a leaking evaporator coil, and a friend of mine recommended that I have him to take a look. He was the third person I vetted to get the replacement job done. When he went about the system and explained things to me, I could see immediately that he was competent and fair, and he gained my trust on the spot. He didn’t disappoint. **UPDATE** We ended up having to call up Matt again because our a/c stopped working properly. He came out, diagnosed, & replaced the necessary part (which was a full day's worth of work) within the same week. Smooth sailing throughout! We will definitely continue to use Hearthstone for future jobs!

We had another fantastic experience with Matt this morning. Our AC stopped working late last night. I called at 7:45 this morning and he was at our door at 8:30 on the door, we had a diagnosis within 30 minutes, and he was gone by 9:30 leaving us with a fixed AC, a cool house, and a resolution to what was happening. We can’t refer enough people to Hearthstone Heat and Air, and are so grateful for his willingness to take from his morning to come and help our family cool off.

I don’t typically go out of my way to leave reviews, but I had a great experience using Matt and his team at Hearthstone for some HVAC repairs. My upstairs had always struggled to keep cool in peak summer, so I decided to finally address the problem. Several HVAC companies came out and simply recommended replacing my old system with a new larger one and assumed that would fix the problem. Matt came in and did some true airflow measurements and load calculations and determined that my duct work was undersized and not properly routed to my warmest rooms. We gave him the green light to update the ductwork and sure enough, my 16-17 year old unit now works like a champ and my upstairs is like a whole new home. I highly recommend Hearthstone - it’s easy to get lost in all the HVAC options out there but know Matt and team will use real calculations to get you an answer and address your problems without upselling. If I would’ve used the other companies, I would’ve ended up with a much higher expense, oversized A/C for the space, and minimal improvement. I highly recommend Hearthstone!
