Corey and Nigeal went above and beyond when locating and repairing a slab leak on our home. The location and quote process was very easy and though the repair threw plenty of wrenches at them with some scope creep here and there, they adapted and overcame everything across two days of work all within the quoted cost. Both were great to interact with and very communicative at every step of the way to complete the job. I will do my best to make sure anyone looking for a trusted plumbing service gets my 110% recommendation for The Plumbinator.

We have used Plumbinator for many years. They have always been responsive when we call with a plumbing issue. It is clear that they take pride in their work and in getting it done right so it will stay fixed. They are friendly, honest and fair. I will continue to use them, and highly recommend them to anyone else. Most recently they replaced a hot water heater, in the past they have fixed a variety of plumbing issues. They are excellent problem solvers when the source of the problem is not obvious. They are leak detection specialists.

After getting the runaround from our home warranty company to fix our water heater I called the Plumbinator who I have used in the past . Promptly came out and fixed it the same day. These guys are affordable, honest, and fair! They were a happy joy to be around and really helped me out when I needed a tub replacement. I appreciate their hard work and problem solving and Mickey’s jokes were a nice bonus. Shout out to Mickey and Steve for being real heroes in this house!!!

A long review follows. The short is: The Plumbinator was more affordable, honest, faster, and friendlier than any plumbing company I’ve ever used. They saved me $60,000 on a problem that didn’t exist. They didn’t try to sell me on things, and they truly stand behind their work. This is one of the best small businesses I’ve ever interacted with.

For years I struggled and failed to find a go-to plumber.

First, I tried big companies I knew from billboards and trucks around town. They were painfully expensive and always sent out a kid with minimal training. One advised me to “just use chemical drain cleaner” on my 60-year-old cast-iron pipes. Pass.

Then, I tried a couple of little guys. They were always hard to schedule/communicate with. And one, who showed up to my job excessively stoned, also thought it was a savvy business move to literally scream at me when I asked for an explanation about a line item on the bill.

Next, I found a mid-sized company that came out and gave me the worst of the worst news in the world of the wastewater: there was a break in our cast-iron pipes and we needed to get them (all) replaced. They quoted us $60K for the work.

Given I didn’t have tens of thousands of dollars burning a hole in my pocket, I said I’d have to think about it. In the meantime, I stopped using our washing machine and became intimately familiar with the laundromats in my area.

After nearly a year of hauling the family’s dirty duds and unmentionables to the laundromat, I finally decided to call another company to see how much this whole plumbing replacement nightmare would run me. I figured best-case scenario I could find someone who would do it for less. I was ready for the worst. (RIP, life savings. Did my kids really need to go to college, anyway?)

So imagine my total surprise when The Plumbinator came out and not only told me my cast-iron pipes were fine for their age, but removed a pesky clog that the bigger company told me was a break in the pipes when they scoped my house.

After Steve and Eric (two all-around excellent guys) snaked the heck out of my old house, everything ran fine. I could wash my clothes from home again! Still, I asked if they wouldn’t mind running the camera to see if they could find any problems in the pipes, knowing that my plumbing was in its golden years.

Mickey, the Plumbinator himself, showed up for this. He walked through my house and pointed out potential spots to look out for. He didn’t try to sell me on anything. He sat down and talked to me for at least an hour answering questions and talking me through what he saw. And he shared his honest assessment of what he would do if it were his house: wait to replace the plumbing until we start seeing problems.

Mickey and his men could easily have just told me I needed to have my pipes replaced. I already knew I was going to have to at some point. But that’s not the kind of guy Mickey is.

I’m not sure at what magical point in the past it was the default that people stood by their work and would steer you straight with the kind of advice you’d give to your own family, but whenever that time was, Mickey and his guys feel plucked straight from it.

If all that weren’t enough, you get the bonus that communicating and scheduling with them couldn’t be easier. You just text and hear back right away. When a couple minor things popped up that required follow-up around some of the additional projects I had them tackle, I got an immediate text response and the guys were back out within an hour — even though I said it wasn’t urgent. No charge. No bad attitude about being called back out. Just a quick fix and they were on their way.

Thanks to Mickey, Steve, and Eric, I finally have a go-to plumber. And when my plumbing does finally meet its inevitable end, there's only one company I would consider calling.

I chose The Plumbinator to fully replace my cast iron sewer pipes, move a drain pipe in my slab to accommodate a wall mounted toilet, and fix a few leaky fixtures. Mickey and his team gave 110% everyday until it was done. His crews were friendly and respectful of my home, and his front office team was very helpful over the phone whenever we had questions. I highly recommend them.

During this unusually warm Texas fall, both my gas and water bill increased, and the floor in my primary bedroom was hot underfoot. After being told hot water pipes are often found in the concrete in homes, I called the only experts in the plumbing field I know, The Plumbinator. The Plumbinator's team used a Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) thermal imaging camera to confirm a hot water leak in a pipe that runs through concrete from the hot water heater to primary bedroom sink.

Other plumbers may have hammered thru the concrete floors, or taken a hammer to the sheetrock to "find" the leak. This group of experienced professionals know when and how to use technology to save time and money. They saved my floors and slab and went thru the walls and ceiling with a new hot water pipe. The job was completed in 1 day and they saved the sheetrock cut outs so they could be put back in place They cleaned up after the repair and checked in with me the following Monday. I wholeheartedly endorse The Plumbinator for any type of plumbing services, they do it once and they do it right!

I typically don’t take the time to write reviews but because of our great experience with this family owned business and knowing how important it was to us to find a good, honest and reliable plumber, I feel that I need to.
Mickey and his whole team were just fantastic at solving our mystery leak which turned out to be quite complicated.
Their expertise, knowledge and professionalism in what they do, really showed throughout our whole project.
Although I hope to not need them again, any time soon, they will definitely be our go-to plumbers for any future needs and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a great, honest plumber who’s above the rest.

The Plumbinator did a great job fixing a slab leak in our home. Corey and Nigel were very professional, friendly, and got the job done faster than expected. They were upfront about the cost (which was reasonable) and communicated clearly along the way as the repairs were being done. Highly recommended!!

It was great working with Plumbinator. They made time for us quickly. They were in frequent contact. It was especially convenient to be able to text them to coordinate. The work was excellent. They even came back out the next day to repair a defect caused by the builder of the home. We would work with them again for sure!

If I could give them a hundred stars I would. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They are professional, responsible, courteous, knowledgeable, trustworthy and mostly kind good people.
My leak was hard to locate but they didn’t give up until they found it. They had to run a new line from my water heater to my laundry room. It was not an easy job and they did fantastic. I highly recommend the Plumbintors.

I called Plumbinator and found that it is a family business, which is great. They provided the service I requested on time and within budget.

Then, the older son put a regulator on the input line without consulting me first. The water pressure is so low that we can't take a good shower while the washing machine or dishwasher is going. Washing the dishes in the kitchen sink is annoyingly low-pressure with just that faucet on.

I asked him to remove or turn up the pressure value setting. He lectrured me on how dangerous it was and how lucky I was that the plumbing hadn't burst. A 50-year-lived-in house plumbing that would suddenly burst if he didn't save the day, yeah, right?

Plumbinator performed a service and applied a charge I didn't ask for.

This work was done two years ago, and it still irritated me to the point of writing this review. Very disappointed.

I recommend the friendly services of the Plumbinator LLC. Mickey, and his talented and trustworthy staff, properly diagnosed and repaired the broken water pipe in the front yard. You can expect great customer service from this reputable plumbing company.

I was so stressed about my slab leak, I was leaking over 1,000 gallons a day and there was no water leaks visible anywhere. They showed up on time and found the leak within the initial 90 minutes inspection. My house was built in the late 1970's and their analysis of the original plumbing routing was spot on.

I can't speak highly enough about Plumbinator and their exceptional service. Integrity is at the core of their work. Their responsiveness is unmatched, quickly addressing any concerns or questions. The estimates provided were spot-on, and their dedication to fitting in my appointment despite a busy schedule was impressive.

We loved working with The Plumbinator. They helped diagnose and fix a pipe issue that occurred regarding the washing machine line. Importantly, they were incredibly professional and honest, and were able to restore an important functionality of the house without completely replacing the pipe system that otherwise works in the house. These guys are top notch! My water heater broke on a Sunday. I called them Monday morning and Corey and Nigeal arrived within a couple hours. By that afternoon I had a brand new water heater installed at a reasonable price. A few days later I had an unrelated issue they came back to investigate. They fixed it in five minutes and didn't charge me for the visit. This is unheard of!! If you want a fair and thorough plumbing service, call the Plumbinator. They were recommended by a friend and I will enthusiastically recommend them to everyone!!

My neighbor shared that his lawn was flooding though it hasn't rained for ages and his water meter was not spinning. Ours was. We had no idea were the leak was but knew (because everything was turned off and the meter was still advancing), that we had a leak. I was worried because a leak is an open ticket. You start paying when the plumber arrives and they can take their time as you are on the hook. The Plumbinator not only went straight to work, they found and repaired the leak in no time! As a woman in Texas, I was expecting to be milked. They were honest, professional, and respectful. Ladies, this is the plumbing outfit for you. They will not take advantage of you and will do a first rate job. Can't recommend them enough.

I can't say enough good things about The Plumbinator. I've used them twice for plumbing leaks and Mickey and his group always make sure the job is done to my satisfaction and their pricing is very reasonable. I've gotten quotes from the big guys, and aside from the pressure to upsell, those price quotes were significantly higher than The Plumbinator. They're good people that want to take care of their customers.
