We have been using Reids since 2014 and have always had a great experience. They provide a 2 hour window for their arrival and text or call when they are on the way. They just replaced our old HVAC system. They were in and out in about 3 1/2 hours. If you are looking for professional, knowledgeable and dependable company for your AC and heat equipment, try Reids. You will not be disappointed.

We have used Reid's for several years - from seasonal check-ups, to coolant refills, to installing a new unit. The front office is organized and customer focused, and the technicians are reliable and courteous (insist on putting on plastic shoe covers / respectful of moving around the house / deal well with pets & small kids). I NEVER post reviews, but I've been so impressed for how they supported us with a recent service call - I just had to share my positive review...

Chris Clements from Reid's is the most honest A/C tech we have ever met. He's polite and kind and uses good judgement with clients even if they don't know anything about air conditioners. I would highly recommend him and Reid's to anyone.

I used these people for approximately 15 years. They installed the two units I presently have. The last two times I’ve had a problem the tech seemed more interested in selling me a new unit than fixing my problem. I had one unit quit working some time back. The tech that come out said compressor was weak and I needed a complete new system. Quotes we’re extremely high. I decided to get a second quote. The company that came out quoted me about 1/2 the price, but said I didn’t need a new system. All it needed was a cooling fan motor on the outside unit. He replaced it and it’s been working perfectly for months now. Since I’m retired I don’t need to replace an AC just because a tech is lazy and would make a big commission for selling me new. I had to call several times to talk to Reid.when I finally got to talk to him, he insisted that the tech was right and I needed a new unit. Months later it is still working
Ike a charm.he ask me what I wanted and I told him nothing I just wanted to let him know how I was treated. He still stood behind his techs diagnosis. He did refund the price of the service call.

We have been using Reid's for all of our HVAC needs for the last two years ever since we had a bad experience with a larger company trying to up sell us products that we didn't need. They do great work for a fair price and the service is always wonderful. One of their techs, Chris, is absolutely amazing. He tells us what needs to be done but doesn't try to over charge us or to make us pay for work we don't need. He is polite and he doesn't mind the fact that we have huge dogs. I like that he is straight forward and direct when dealing with us. My home is only 5 years old and has two units. We don't trust anyone else with such a costly aspect of home maintenance.

Amazing service! They were quick to dispatch a knowledgeable, experienced tech and the admin person went the extra mile finding the unit we needed and staying in touch with me thru the process. The repair was handled quickly and the installation crew were on time and efficient. Can't say enough about how great I think this company is - will continue to use them and happy to recommend them.

The whole experience has been great. Carlos was prompt and courteous. (loved that he wore the shoe covers when he came inside). He took time to explain what he found (a piece of shingle from recently replaced roof stuck to fan motor shaft). He made sure my husband understood the problem and addressed his concerns that the motor may have been damaged. The repair was completed under warranty thought it was not a parts or labor issue. Prior to his arrival, we were given a 2 hour window of when he would arrive. We were kept updated on when to expect him. He was here, repaired the problem, and was gone before the 2 hour window was up. (and they worked us in). This company truly delivers. Thrilled that we chose Reid's to purchase our AC from. It's the middle of August in Houston, TX. Not the time you want your AC to breakdown! I had a friend recommend Reid's AC & Heat, and it has been one of the BEST recommendations ever!! Today we had Chris, James M., Nathan M. and Jerrardo G. here to repair and replace a component of our AC system. They were on time, kind, courteous and did a phenomenal job in our 123 degree attic. Leslie in their front office coordinated the appointment and called several times to give me an update on when to expect the crew, etc. I cannot tell you how impressed we have been with every aspect of their service. We will share their information with friends and will call them again any time we have an issue. Pass this forward - it will be worth the call!!

I contacted a few other companies and no one could find the part I needed. I understand that it was back ordered but another company which I’d never call again supposedly ordered the part but never confirmed a date to me but tried to get payment without any services. I saw Reid’s truck at my neighbors house and asked him what issue he had with his unit. He gave me their information and they immediately got to work and a few days later they had me up and running.

Jarod was thorough and professional as always. It’s nice to have the same Tech each time. He corrected an issue with a damper in one bedroom. Reid's AC and Heating always takes care of my home AC and furnace. All filters were changed too. A great company.

Duane and his team from Reid's AC & Heat replaced a gas furnace for us and did a fantastic job. Great attention to detail, great communication and great follow-up after the job was complete. We also subscribe to Reid's annual service plan whereby they inspect/service our units twice a year. Very happy overall with Reid's AC & Heat company.

We have used Reid’s since moving into our house in 2015. Every interaction with them has been prompt, professional, and positive. They come check out system twice a year during summer and winter. We had a capacitor recently go out and they came to replace it, when they noticed it was still under warranty we were only charged for the labor. I would highly recommend choosing them for your HVAC service.

Reid’s was quick to respond and professional at every step. They replaced our outside A/C unit and had us cooling in less than a day. All personnel were courteous and professional, and they followed up the same day to insure everything was working. I would highly recommend them.

Late Friday afternoon we noticed our system was working constantly and not cooling as it should. We called Reid's and had the owner come out to inspect it within 30 minutes of making the call. It was determined we needed some time consuming repairs. Reid set us up so we were comfortable that night and then had James show up early the next morning. James did a great job and got our system back up and running as it should. We never broke a sweat in our own home and would definitely recommend using these guys again!

Our 1.5 ton air handler system developed a leak in the evaporator coil. None of the HVAC suppliers had an exact replacement coil for our system. I spoke with Reid about my options. He stated that even if we could find a replacement coil it would only be warrantied for one (1) year.
However, if we replaced the entire air handler we would have a five (5) year factory warranty (parts and labor) should it fail.

Jerad topped off our system with refrigerant to keep us in cool air while we waited for the new system to arrive from manufacturer's supply company. That took about a week.
Reid's kept me informed and once the system had arrived at their shop they called and set up an appointment for the work.

The crew showed up on time, performed the work required, and our system is now operating as it should.
The crew cleaned up the area, hauled off the old system, and tested both the cooling and heating to assure me all was working.

I would gladly recommend Reid's to anyone who needs help with their HVAC system!
