Scott is great! Was referred to Pion’s through my home warranty, Super. My fridge ice dispenser and water control panel broke. He was able to diagnosis it in less than 5 mins and found the part even though it wasn’t manufactured anymore. He came back in less than a week and installed it. Fridge is back to dispensing ice and water! Scott’s a straight shooter, honest and good at what he does.

I recommend against using Pion Appliance Repair based on my experience with pricing and model discrepancies.

I contacted them regarding a Bosch 800 series convection microwave and was quoted $2,100 installed after the model number was read to their supplier.

About 1.5 weeks later, they arrived with the wrong unit—a Bosch 500 series (about $1,549 retail based on my research), not boxed—and installed it anyway. The installation caused my refrigerator to no longer sit flush due to the power cord, and he suggested using a power strip, which raised safety concerns for me.

When I pointed out the incorrect model, I was told there would be a restocking fee despite this being their error. Although he said he would “make it right,” this resulted in delays, poor communication, and repeated follow-ups on my end.

When the correct model was finally installed, I was presented with a bill for $3,047.76. When I questioned this, he stated the $2,100 quote applied to the 500 series, which contradicted my understanding of our earlier discussion and market pricing.

Overall, this was a frustrating and costly experience. I recommend choosing another appliance repair service if you value clear pricing and accountability.
