Terrible company. Started project in February 2024 and still have not completed 8 months later. Ordered wrong cabinets then gave me the runaround to order the correct ones. They overbook then don’t have time to complete a phase of the project in a timely fashion. Please do not use them…not reliable at all. I am now ordering my own parts and will hire a new contractor because I cannot wait any longer for my project to be completed. I made every payment that they demanded for on time which I think was foolish. Lessons learned!

I had a friend that had used Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct (FKBD) recently to gut and remodel their kitchen and just raved out them. As I had seen the finished work, I was impressed, so I took the risk and hired them... AND I AM SO GLAD I DID !!!!
Unlike most contractors, FKBD was extremely organized and paid attention to ALL the details. Susan and Rafi were a pleasure to work with and made the project feel seamless from start to finish..... and the results speak for themselves. They completed two full bathroom remodels, top to bottom, and a kitchen backsplash in record time. I had my place completed and on the market a week sooner than I expected. Like any large job, there were a few hiccups, but Rafi was so on top of it, they were being fixed and corrected before I could even call to tell them about it.
My friend was right, these guys are PROS! Needless to say, I will use them agai...n and I highly recommend Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct (FKBD) to anyone looking for a great experience remodeling a kitchen and bathrooms.

My grandmothers original floor from the 80s needed to be replaced due to water damage (which the root cause was also addressed and fixed by Rafael and his team)- he brought us some floor samples to see what would look best and boy was he spot on with his recommendation! It works perfectly with the various colors in her home. FKB also installed new carpet on the second floor- the turn around time was quick and the crew was considerate, clean and professional. It’s also very important to note that the FKB team were transparent, honest and unlike a lot of contractor horror stories- showed up. I highly recommend! Will stick with FKB for upcoming projects! Really on top of the intro and selling part of the deal. Great communication and interest in me being their client. Susan was friendly and helpful to get our contract going.

However, once they got my signature and deposit it was like pulling teeth to the get the actual project scheduled.

I’m also a long distance owner, coordinating the project. So it’s especially hard not being in the state. I even flew to VA to chat with them but they ghosted me.

Apparently only the owner of the company, Rafael, can only schedule projects on Fridays but he’s not available most Fridays to chat. Not the person you start the project with. She can’t schedule projects.

I really regret going with FKBD for the project.

I especially regret it because I paid a premium for the labor, and decided to go with this company vs another younger, cheaper company (VA Creative Renovations - Chris is great - check them out) because I thought they would be on top of the project and get it done quickly and get it done well. Apparently not.

There was a lack of follow through and communication. When I did ask for timing and submitted my tile choices with Susan, who was my project manager, she had to call over to Rafael, then he’d call me all grumpy for interrupting his day. Seems like there’s a control issue. Then when the project was supposed to start there was an issue with the tile I originally chose, even though I had submitted my design choices weeks prior. They said there was a delay with the tile and they had to change the project start date. Meanwhile I’m trying to coordinate with my tenants. Luckily they are the nicest tenants anyone can ask for.

All in all they did a great job on my bathroom - eventually. You just need to be really on top of them.

Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct. What a wonderful company to deal with. I had a very dated bathroom. Old tub, old tile and very old (original tile) floor. I worked with Rafael and Susan to pick out floor tiles, walls, and all of the bathroom accessories. The remodel turned out gorgeous!!! Nicest looking room in my house! Far exceeded my expectations.

Carlos and the other gentleman did excellent work installing insulation in the attic and installing new gutter guards. They were able to complete both projects within 4 hours. I was very please with their performance.

The general contractor, Thomas, was very professional and helpful, providing recommendations where we could make additional improvements and still remain within our budget.
