I recently called out the HCC out to my house to fix a broken garbage disposal. They told me it was completely broken and gave me a $1200-1400 estimated quote to replace it. Because that price was more than double what an internet search said the average garbage disposal should cost, I got a second opinion.

The person who came for the second opinion flipped the power switch once, said "I know what this is" and fixed it in 30 seconds. Moreover, he showed me how to fix it myself and left a tool for me to use if it happened again.

I have to wonder if I got the inflated estimate because I was a single woman who presumably wouldn’t know much about garbage disposals.

To get a $1200 quote for something so easy to fix is at best incompetent and at worst actively deceptive. I sent the HCC an email asking about it, and instead of a response they sent me an invoice for the service call. I’m pretty offended they want me to pay $89 for someone to try and cheat me.

House call, as always, was amazing. Joey was an awesome and knowledgeable tech. We were without heat and they quickly sprung into action to get that fixed for us.

I also want to thank Dean for helping us out on a Saturday.

These technicians are awesome! Removed my old water heater and installed my new one in 3-4 hours. They explained everything that would happen and kept me up-to-date on their progress. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I had Brad out a couple times now. Once for a heating issue and most recently he helped me out with a mid summer cooling issue. This latest visit really reflects his character. Its mid july and temps are running in the mid to high 90's. Yesterday my unit stopped blowing cool air. I called Brad right away and he notified me that he was booked up until Thursday. Although my house quickly became HOT I decided to wait on Brad considering the top notch service he provided last time.
Well I get terrible cell reception at work and I noticed I had a missed text from him explaining that he had a small window of and wanted to come take a look while he had time. I missed this message entirely, once I was able to respond Brad told me that he swung by anyways and had already troubleshot and repaired my issue! I was super surprised so I called my daughter and told her to fire up the unit. She did and BAM, we got cold air. Brad did this literally out of the kindness of his heart and this type of service goes WAY above and beyond. I challenge anyone to find a better HVAC tech than this guy...
Dont be fooled into doing business with one of those big companies trying to upsell you at every turn. Put your trust in a local small business owner. One who is a proven master at his craft and obviously holds customer service in high regard. I will promise you one thing in this review. If you call BA Mechanical they will be the last HVAC number you ever put into your phone. As long as this fella is doing work in the 757 he will get my business...simple as that! Thank you Brad for reminding me that not all is lost in the world. There are still a few good ones out there.

I’m endorsing Brad even though he did not actually fix our heat. The heat went out the week before Christmas and right before a cold snap was coming. We received a referral for Brad. Unfortunately, he couldn’t help us in time, but made a call to one of his competitors and got us lined up to be serviced right away.

I appreciate him putting our needs as a customer first. His only concern was getting our heat fixed prior to really needing it. That goes a long way with me as a consumer and will definitely use his service in the future.

I'm very happy to give my strongest recommendation to BA Mechanical. Brad replaced a furnace and cooling system downstairs and installed a new heat pump, ductwork, and air handler for the upstairs zone. From start to finish, Brad was a pleasure to work with. The cost of the project was very fair, wait time on parts and installation was reasonable, and the quality of work was way beyond expectations. On installation day, Brad and his crew were timely, respectful of my work-from-home routine, and kept my house clean. Brad is an honest, totally dependable professional who does exactly what he says he will do; something quite rare these days. Thanks a million, Brad!
