If I could give RS Andrews less stars I would. I initially requested service on my AC unit because it was leaking. I was sent a technician that had no experience working with my unit. I was then sent someone who insisted that my unit was too old to fix and I needed a new unit. I agreed to have it replaced. The very day the unit was replaced I was asked to send money right away for the completion of the project. 2 days later the new unit was leaking, just as the old was doing. ( I felt conned) A technician came to fix my brand new unit and in the process broke my sink top in the bathroom. Months went by to get my sink top replace. All the while, I was harassed to pay the final payment. I informed RS Andrews that I would not pay until service and repairs were complete. The saga continues. My sink top was replaced incorrectly and the ceiling access is on the floor of my bathroom and now RS Andrews is threatening, if the bill is not paid, they will take " action." I have never been treated so poorly by a company. Potential buyers beware. This company cares about the money not service.

Justin was very sweet and helpful. Explained all of our options and ways to take care of our current problem. Explained ways to finance and gave us the opportunity to take time to think about which way to go to fix the hot water heater problem. Did not feel pressured to make a quick decision and that was the best part of my horrible day with water all over my house.
Thank you Justin for making me feel better about RS Andrews company.

I recently had an estimate done by this company. I called them back about 2 weeks later. They said they will have to charge me another 119.00 to give me a price. These guys are rip off artist if you ask me. I guess it's a good thing I didn't go with them. I regret loosing the money for the estimate, but at least now I know what this company is about. I will not recommend them . I will let people know my experience and let them decide for themselves.

I worked with RS Andrews for over a year, so I have a solid understanding of how the company operates.
Unfortunately, the management has been the worst I’ve ever dealt with. The experience was bad enough that I immediately canceled my PRO SERVICE subscription and will not be returning. I had heard from multiple sources that management was an issue, but I never encountered it directly until I needed to call about a reimbursement.
It took three consecutive days of calling just to get someone on the phone who could address the issue. When I finally did, I was told it was “not their problem.” This was especially frustrating given that the issue stemmed from work they failed to try and correct after three separate service visits, and that this is a large, well-established company that could easily have handled a small reimbursement professionally.
I want to be very clear, the contractors themselves were excellent. Every technician I worked with was professional, skilled, and super pleasant. I have nothing but good things to say about them and genuinely wish them the best.
However, due to the way management handled this situation, I would never use RS Andrews again for any major work. -
The technician arrived during the appropriate time frame and he was pleasant, professional, thorough, and swift! He made sure to explain things in the process to make it as transparent as possible, especially since I always ask a million questions! We're very happy and our home is warm again!

Upon the first service Person from RS Andrews coming out Dylan Prokop I was informed that he needed to adjust the wiring on the unit, but that I needed a new motherboard to the tune of $854.00. When the second repair person Michael D. came out to replace the motherboard removed the top of which included the fan piece and proceed to attempt to try to install it, I asked if there was a problem b/c I was outside watching him. He stated that the other repair person didn’t leave notes and he adjusted the original wiring. He was looking at the diagram and then left everything exposed to the rain, and went and sat in his van for about ten minutes then came back. He clipped some wires, installed the motherboard, closed the unit, and said give it about ten minutes and then the a/c should come back on. Ten minutes later nothing had come on, so he went to the back of the a/c unit, He manually had to switch something on in the back to get it to come on. Then, he left my home.
At approximately 4:00 pm in the afternoon while the a/c was running, I went around while the a/c was on and noticed that the fan blades weren’t spinning on the a/c unit. I immediately called RS Andrews they dispatched Jamie Shearin to my residence for a reservice. He stated, “ma’am, you need a whole new a/c unit, your a/c is leaking oil at the fan. It’s getting ready to die. That’s probably why it stopped working.” I asked why wasn’t I told that when the first guy Emanuel inspected my unit? Why didn’t he do a full and proper inspection of the unit? He stated “I don’t know.” I stated, “I would have bought an a/c from R/S Andrews had I had that information”. I ended up having to called another reliable (Smileys Heating and Cooling) a/c company to come out and replace the unit. I spent another $9,300.00 to replace it. I am going to sue RS Andrews for not diagnosing the unit properly! Again do not use this company Call Smileys Heating and Cooling, Ryan Vonshell will take care of you! And the Owner sent me A QA text number that doesn’t work! -
Michael, the technician who helped me was awesome! Super friendly, and very competent at repairing/replacing my leaky faucet. I am very pleased and will certainly refer RS Andrews to anyone I know who needs plumbing services!

Hot Water Heater and All new A/C system install. Way overpaid. $25K! Salesman Jeff Duncan totally sold me on how good of service RS Andrews would provide. It was the worst service experience I've ever had to endure.
1. Air Handler froze over 4 days later due to a leak outside. Flooded my attic ceiling because the shut off switch in the pan was installed wrong.
2. While troubleshooting the A/C, the tech smelled gas in the attic because the hot water heater wasn't installed correctly.
3. I had to continuously try and contact RS Andrews of Tidewater to get all the repairs scheduled and done. I asked for a manager or supervisor to reach out to me. They never did.
4. Still trying to get all the work completed they promised. 1 month in now and still not finished. -
Call several companies on a heating issue and they were the first ones that would come out same day. The technician was very courteous and knowledgeable. He was able to explain what was found and correct the issue. The cost was fair but I would have paid almost anything for home comfort.

On one of the coldest nights of the year our heat stopped working. In desperation I called RS Andrew's and the same evening they sent Buddy. Buddy had us up and running again and was able to explain why the heat wasn't working. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Also, the repair price was reasonable. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family.

He showed up on time. They were very professional and courteous. He was able to explain everything in great detail and was able to sign me up for their membership program which saved me some money. They would just need to come back and fix my refrigerant leak.

We had 2 new units put in by 4 of the most knowledgeable and professional men. The Leads were Joseph Johnson and Arliss Williams. The Apprentice were Najee McCallister and Anthony Brooks
They left the job site very clean.
The men were thorough. The job looked really good
I highly recommend this company. -
My water heater needed to be replaced, due to a leak. I visited the Lowe's store, and they provided me with installation services through R.S. Andrews, who gave me a quote of over $2k for a basic replacement and install. During the installation, the installer damaged the floors to my foyer with a copper pipe. For two months, l've attempted, to seek restitution/repairs from this company, (via Customer service, Quality Control, Flooring, Schedulers/Dispatchers, and Corporate) with no results. Initially, R.S. Andrews even stated that they would even send a codes inspector to certify the installation. Until this date, no one has responded either. To conclude, the installer stated that I could have gotten the service for a lesser price, after I purchased the initial service. The installer, even had the audacity to hand me several business cards to distribute, after providing such deceptive information. Not sure what I done to deserve this experience with this company.

Great experience! I had a new HVAC system installed. Michael and his partner were very professional and courteous during the installation/setup. They showed up as scheduled and got to work right away. I appreciate their attention to detail, carefulness, and explanation of everything once they completed the install. I would definitely recommend and use them again in the future!

Nick was wonderful. He was on time and explained everything well. Nick was respectable and personable. He is an asset to RS Andrews. I did not feel pressured at all to make any quick decisions. When I have recommended work completed I will ask for Nick. I recommend RSA to anyone wanting an upstanding HVAC company call them.

Anthony and Arliss did a fantastic job today on our HVAC system. 100% professional, efficient, and quality work. They even took the time to explain what they were doing and changes they made. Outstanding work!

Oh and to the Owner, i reached out to your QA Department like you requested and on 12 August I received this "Thank you for reaching out to share your contact information as requested. Our Quality Assurance Manager will review your service history and contact you for further discussion." I have not heard from them since.
Update 4: Tech completed the work, I received a text from a Jessica asking if we were good to reschedule the re-inspection. In which I asked if the black cable was addressed, as I am no longer local to the property and the work ticket did not address it. Jessica did not respond, I texted the next day, no response, I called and left a voicemail, no call back.
Update 3: I got ahold of someone and got rescheduled for 10am-2pm for the 20th. At 4pm I still hadnt heard from anyone so I called and was told that they would call dispatch and dispatch would call me. I never received a call. At 5:40pm I called again and was told that I had been changed to 6pm-10pm. Keep in mind I have already received text messages and emails confirming my 10-2 appointment. I was never notified of the appointment time changing. I finally received a call at 8:35pm that my technician is on the way.
Update 2: RS Andrews sent a follow up tech to fix the issues on 13 August, they were unable to complete the work as they didnt have the tools needed, and as i was last call of the day ran out of refridgerent. I was told someone would call to reschedule and complete the work. On Friday 15 August I called and was told i was scheduled for Monday the 18th. No one showed up or called. I called on the 19th and they were completely lost and had no idea that I had them come out previously at all.
**I appreciate the response and am willing to speak with your Quality Assurance Manager. However, this will not resolve my issue. The problem is still ongoing, and what I need is for the Installation Manager to contact me directly so we can get the inspection failures and installation deficiencies corrected. Please have the Installation Manager reach out to me as soon as possible so we can get this resolved without further delay.***
RS Andrews installed my HVAC system, and it failed the city inspection for improper gas line placement and insufficient clearance where it was installed. They also left a thermostat wire hanging loose outside the house.
When I first brought this up, my sales rep told me it would be addressed internally and taken care of. After two days with no updates, I began calling. The first time, I was told someone from installation would reach out—no one did. I called again the next day and was told it was marked “urgent.” Still no call. Several days later, I called a third time and got the same response, yet no one has followed up.
It’s now been over a week since the failed inspection, and nothing has been fixed. Between the inspection failure, safety concerns, and complete lack of communication, this has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. -
RS Andrews did a great job in installing the new heating and cooling system in my rental house. The gave a great price on the unit I chose and installed it the next day in rainy weather. My tenant was very excited to have heating in the house once again after the old unit stopped working over the weekend.
