The team did a great job. They explained all they were doing. And the things they cleaned look like new. Tameka and also Flora and. Brandon were pleasant and worked hard. I was upstairs in the house and came down stairs at times when they were working.

I have nothing but great things to say about Servpro. Darryl and his crew are probably my favorite people. There is nothing worse to waking up and seeing that you have a leak. My insurance agent told me to reach out to them and when I did I immediately felt a sense of ease. Darryl talked me though how to handle the situation. Did not start any work until they found out if my insurance company would cover the cost or not. Then once we received the approval they got to work and that crew were super sweet and shy. But they went to work and killed it. They explained everything I needed to know and would ask if I had any questions. I appreciate the urgency they showed they had the work done in a few a hours. For this to be a big deal I just felt like I was in good hands. Thank you so much Darryl and crew and Kelly on everything. ServPro sent the most amazing gals to my home to clean up after a small fire. Brittany and Jordan!! These girls were so amazing! The were very professional and courteous. They were so considerate of my kitties and my Dog Virgil. They did amazing work. My home smells like a million bucks. ServPro is very lucky to have these two! If you needed two employees to represent your company, do any training for new employees, it should be these two. I have had many repairs done to the home that I have lived in for about 40 years. I have dealt with contractors before, and I had a bitter taste in my mouth based on past results. Tim Brinn and the contractors that he hires are the best! Tim called daily to check on the status of the repairs and to check on the anxiety that I had based on past experiences He even called after having a tooth abscess treated. He made multiple visits to my home and worked closely with me and the contractors to ensure that I understood the contract and the repair process.. He was extremely kind and patient. I can highly recommend him if you contact Servpro ask for him.

I have been waiting to hear from an owner of this company since July 15th. I have repeatedly asked for a call or email from someone who owns the company. My experience with this company has been nothing short of horrific. If I was the owner of this company, I would want to know about the way my employees have treated the customer.

Editing to add: their employees tampered with my surveillance at my home, employees fighting and arguing in my front yard (even slammed the dumpster door when they got mad), threw away all my appliances and tv without consulting with my insurance company first to get them written off, tried to get me to sign off on work that hadn’t been done, returned my items uncleaned, damaged, completely broken, and lost my textiles. What was a small kitchen fire that should’ve been fixable in a month, has now taken 4+ months and they tell me that it’s not their fault my things are damaged and uncleaned and lost. I have never been more dissatisfied with a company.

I had the pleasure of working with Max. I had smoke damage from a fire next door. He was very professional and kept me in the loop of everything that was happening. When it can to repairs and service, he made sure that everything was done properly and to my satisfaction. I recommend using Servpro for service and ask for Max.

I would like to express my appreciation for the support provided by Max, project manager, during the completion of the work in my home. At the beginning of the project, I felt somewhat overwhelmed as the work was getting underway and there were several details to coordinate. The initial project manager assigned was not the best fit; however, once I communicated my concerns, the company responded promptly and reassigned a new project manager.

Max, project manager, demonstrated a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail throughout the remainder of the project. He maintained clear communication, addressed questions promptly, and ensured that the work progressed smoothly and efficiently. His organization and oversight helped ensure that the project stayed on track and was completed in a timely manner without unnecessary delays.

I hired SERVPRO (Chesapeake North) for a general cleaning of a vacant ~1,600 sq ft property at a quoted cost of $3,200. I paid the required deposit with the balance due upon completion.

After the service was performed, my property manager accessed the home and documented multiple deficiencies, including:

• Dirty window sills and tracks
• Floors not fully cleaned in several areas
• Refrigerator shelving with debris remaining
• Bathroom fixtures with visible buildup
• Ceiling fan left partially disassembled

More concerning, the property was left unsecured:

• Multiple windows unlocked
• One bedroom window left fully open
• Back door unlocked

For a vacant property, this was a significant security concern.

I was also promised before-and-after documentation and photos, which I have yet to receive.

To SERVPRO’s credit, they have scheduled a walkthrough while I am onsite this week. I have requested a full professional re-clean consistent with the original scope and independent managerial oversight.

I am hopeful this will be resolved appropriately and will update this review based on the final outcome.

We had a good experience. The roughest part was dealing with insurance. Our hot water heater leaked through the ceiling and we were concerned about black mold. First we worked with Charles who explained what they were going to do to dry up everything and with demolition.
Next help was Lorraine who did our estimate and explained what comes next.
Max was great in keeping everything at our cost. He had to figure out going from an old jetted tub, built into the house to a normal tub and shower. He figured in a linen closet which we love. Our favorite is our new flooring! They look perfect and now we want to do more flooring in the house.

After the initial cleaning, the property was not delivered in inspection-ready condition. There were visible deficiencies throughout the home, including residue on fixtures, debris in cabinetry, appliances requiring additional cleaning, window sills with dust and buildup, and areas of flooring and baseboards that were not properly addressed. There were also security concerns following the visit.

A remediation cleaning was scheduled. I was told a supervisor would be onsite, but that did not occur. After the remediation visit, multiple deficiencies still remained, which I documented with photos.

Because of this, I had to travel to the property to reinspect and address discrepancies myself. My property manager was present to photograph the home for rental listing, and we had to delay the listing due to the condition of the property. This directly impacted my timeline and carrying costs.

Utility data reflects the extended vacancy period, including a February Dominion Energy bill of $623.95 tied to the period in which the home should have been rental-ready.

For a $3,200 “general cleaning,” I expected professional, inspection-ready results — not multiple follow-ups and delays.

And to add insult to injury, it’s Valentine’s Day… and they’ve shown me zero love.

I cannot recommend this location based on my experience

They were great. My project manager Tim Brinn kept me updated with every step. They were fast, efficient and did great with every step of the way. They were able to be left alone to work and made sure my house was secure. During each step it was explained what would happen and what to expect. I can’t say enough about them.

Dion is truly the best!! He finally gave us answers that no one would and even saved us money!! Will be using if needed again!

After several rounds of antibiotics from cold viruses, I contacted MasterTech to check our house for mold. Deion was absolutely fantastic! He worked me into his schedule for the very next day as I advised him I needed it checked asap.

He and his partner came out and did a free inspection, which was very thorough. He didn't rush right into testing as he wanted to do an inspection first to try to see where the issue was coming from. We needed a portion of the ceiling cut out to determine the issue of water damage. Deion linked me up with a very good contractor who came out a few days later and did a clean, quick job. Deion then came back out to take another look and advised me on what steps to take next. He said he wanted to save me as much money as possible and that's exactly what he did.

Deion and his partner, Mr. Poindexter, are beyond professional, honest, reasonable, and helpful. They also educated me through the process. I not only plan to use them in the future if a mold issue should ever arise, but also highly recommend them to others! They are a team you can trust!
