Just had Griffith Heating and Cooling install a completely new heating and cooling system in my home in Chester Va.
I can tell you first hand that you won't be disappointed with this company. From top to bottom they were first class, very professional in all aspects. From Jose the estimator to James and his team. They are very punctual on time and knowledgeable. My old system had failed after 21 yrs in 105 heat indexes, I call knowing they would be busy this time of year. The receptionist answered the phone and i ask if i could get a estimate for a complete new system and to my surprise she told me that they could do it that afternoon. Jose called and said he was on the way to my house. He said he would be here in twenty five minutes, and was here to the second.
After receiving my quote that afternoon I accepted and was then set up for installation one day after the agreement. Got a text the day of the installation from James and said he was on his way. Everything that they touched was fist class. My new American Standard AC is up and running and just to let you know the warranty is untouchable. Thanks Again Griffith Heating! Purchased a new unit from Griffith in Jan. 2025 because of the great/prompt service and they offer a best in class parts and labor warranty. I recently called for an in issue and they responded promptly and the manager even followed up to personally ensure everything was resolved. I have lived in this area almost 20 years and utilized several HVAC companies, so far I would recommend them over the others.

As I am not HVAC literate, He explained everything he was doing, how systems work and which parts are affected (and not affected) by my system issues. No information provided to my wife. Only service fee. I told the technician. I would call back in a minute and he departed. Griffith Heating and Air management gave a call and stated they did not have my email address to send the quote for service. I provided my email informan and I received a quote within the hour. Also the Griffith management team provided guidance refrence the warranty process and an economic way remediate the air conditioning failure.

Graham was knowledgeable and efficient and quickly diagnosed my HVAC problem. I appreciated that he gave me several repair options so that I could compare costs.

Griffith came out on a Sunday to check on our Nest thermostat. We couldn’t quite figure out the wiring problem but it was good to get a professional’s opinion in it. We appreciate the off-hours service!

I've been with Griffith since my house build 11 years ago on a steady twice a year maintenance plan. During the semi annual maintenance of the systems the tech showed me both the heat pumps contactors had built of carbon at the contact points and said that that could cause bad connections or fail any time. I said I'll keep an eye on it and make a determination the next maintenance period four days later one contactor started chattering so I had to call him back within a week and had both changed out cost me an extra $75 for not having it done the time they were here. Ended up paying $475 for two contactors to be replaced. As a retired Vet, I support Veterine owned companies.

I recently had an excellent experience with Griffith Heating & Cooling (GHC) when my furnace started acting up. They were incredibly expedient in troubleshooting the issue. After the initial attempt to repair the furnace I contacted their emergency line around 5:40pm to state the furnace was out again. The technician was onsite in 20 minutes and further Troubleshooting revealed a crack in the heat exchange. GHC was expedient in providing me with a clear, detailed proposal within 45 minutes for a new furnace. What impressed me the most was how timely they were in scheduling the installation for the next day. The new unit was installed & working within 2 hours the next morning. Their professionalism and efficiency made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!
