Appliance Repair reviews in Virginia Beach, Virginia

TV repair was covered under warranty. The technician had to open the tv to replace a motherboard. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish and our tv works great again.
-
Ron and his assistant were excellent. He came prepared with extra .parts and was very knowledgeable about the Samsung ice maker issues. They were done in 30 minutes and they were on time and very professional
-
We called Service Quick to work on our Samsung refrigerator. They were able to work us in the following day, they showed up in the time frame they said they would, and the tech was polite and professional.
-
I was referred to them by Samsung. Then I was told for them even diagnose my machine I’d pay 200.00 non refundable. 60.00 service and labor then parts. I only paid 789. For the machine. I will pay off some bills then go to laundry mat until I can buy new.
-
WORST ! don't buy a Samsung anything and if it means you have to deal with this lot to have a repair!
-
They rescheduled my appointment then told me they didn’t have the part though they never looked at my TV.
Waste of a warranty. -
I had a French door fridge where the doors are not aligned correctly, evident by a gap in the door gaskets.
(May 2021)1st service call replaced gasket. Did not resolve issue. Tech said he would follow up amd never did. He closed my work order bc he couldn't figure out how to resolve fhe problem.
(June 2021) 2nd service call. Tech was supposed to replace door. Never did bc the "diagnostics" showed fhe fridge was operating correctly. Tech left without doing anything and said the gap in the door gasket was "as design".
I asked for a drawing that shows the gap is supposed to be there which could not be provided. Aka- they were lying to me bc no evidence exists that there should be a gap in the gasket to create a hole in the fridge. All model refrigerators at store do not have this issue.
I discussed this issue at length with Samsung. And created a 3rd service ticket specifically to "fix door alignment" not a "cooling issue".
(June 2021)3rd service call - canceled by Service Quick with out ever coming to my house bc they "thought they knew the issue and based on previous "attempt" issue was resolved.
(July 2021) 4fh service call - canceled by Service Quick with out ever coming to my house bc they "thought they knew the issue and based on previous "attempt" issue was resolved.
Sercice Quick:
Suck at communication - no followup by company after 1st service calldid not work).
Suck at customer service - left at second service call with knowing no resolution.
Suck at understanding the English language - the 3rd warranty ticket specifically said "alignment" issue.
Suck at business. Service Quick cancels work orders with out verifying with customer fist.
Slamming should cancle their contract with Service Quick as a repair company. They give Samsung a bad name. -
I cannot give 0 stars
These guys are liars and cheaters.
They told $140 to schedule a service visit. After visiting they told $137 for part and $60 for labour. When I questioned about the deposit. Fong from Service quick told that deposit will be returned back. Now they are just saying these are the normal charges -
This is the service that Samsung uses to fix their products. They are impossible to get ahold of, and never return phone calls. If you have to get a refrigerator fixed, it’s better to get a new one and not a Samsung. Why Samsung continues to use this service is beyond me, Service Quick has the worst customer service all over the country.

Service quick came to my house, damaged the front of my tv screen because they thought that the screen was defective initially and not use protection while they open the tv, and once they realized the motherboard was the defective part EVEN with a written statement of the technician admitting that the panel was scratched up they still refuse to make things right, at the end of the day I am either left with taking them to court or throwing the tv out and writing it off.
Thanks service quick! -
I don't understand the bad reviews here. I called Samsung, was referred to this company. Ticket in on a Monday, repair done by Wednesday, what's to complain about? I had a gas oven that needed a new igniter and Kevin did it in less than an hour. Absolutely spectacular service!

Had a technician out today to repair my freezer and he installed the new freezer door WITHOUT the seal. So now, all my frozen foods have thawed out and are ruined. You may money to have them cost you more money. I guess the technician was absent on “install the seal” on a freezer. Common sense isn’t so common. Then call the dispatcher to get another tech out I have to wait another week? Uh. Ok.. so I’m supposed to wait because of your lack of professionalism and quality service? Interesting business model.

Horrible service for a Samsung refrigerator repair. The service technician wasn’t even in my house a total of 12 minutes and told me it was out of Freon without using any tools and just feeling the vent in the back and took us for $140 prepaid

This company and its employees are completely useless, and so is Samsung support. I called Samsung customer service a week ago on a Saturday because my 7 month old (new) dryer was leaking water. The initial support call went well enough, but that's where it all ends. The follow Friday (6 days later), two men show up from Service Quick. Despite all of their automated texts and emails throughout the week regarding their arrival, it stated that they'd show up wearing mask, gloves, and shoe covers. None of this happened, but I'm pretty relaxed about that sort of thing. As soon as they got here, the only one who spoke asked if he could use the restroom. Normally, I don't like for strangers to use my restroom, and I think it's highly unprofessional for a company's employees to do this. Use your local bathroom before you leave your office/warehouse, or stop at a public restroom somewhere before you stop at your next service address. I consider myself a pretty kind person, so I allowed it. Shortly after he came out, the other one (who acted very strange the entire time) also went into the restroom without asking and was in there a little longer. I'm 90% sure neither one of them washed their hands. This really pissed me off, but I let it go because I was hopeful they'd fix my issue. They spent maybe 15 minutes here... the one tech took the cover off, and the drum out, took some pictures, made some phone calls, of course not speaking in English so I couldn't understand their conversation. Shortly after that, he puts it back together and blames the issue one the 8 ft (standard size) flex vent pipe saying it's too long, which I actually replaced for S&Gs before they came, even though I knew the old one wasn't defective. I told him that this was an unacceptable answer, and even mentioned that I saw some kind of piece of metal stuck in the vent blower, when first looking into the issue on the day of the leak. Either way, he said he "saw nothing, and nothing is covered under warranty", refused to look at what I was talking about, and they left. After they left, I was completely outraged, and called Samsung support. The 1st agent apologized profusely and agreed with me, telling me it was unacceptable and would reschedule another technician to do a full inspection of the unit. She transferred me to another department. This person says, "We trust the analyses of Service Quick technicians, and we will do nothing further from here. You will need to hire an independent repair company." I USED to exclusively have Samsung products, but after this experience, I will NEVER, EVER buy another Samsung product ever again, and will certainly never allow this scam of a company cross the threshold of my doorway ever again. If I were you, I'd think twice about buying Samsung products due to their TERRIBLE customer service, let alone spend extra money on warranties through the retailer, when you can't even get the manufacturer to fix an issue with their products under a year warranty. ZERO STARS.

Came and fixed my TV within the time window. pretty good service

the person that came to replace my refrigerator doors was nice but caused my frozen ice cream to start defrosting. installed the trim on door wrong. but i still have to wait and wait to get someone to fix what this guy done wrong. No customer service. just wait for them all day. It is not my fault they have to come back out i should not have to wait like this for their mistake. wait for the day and then wait for a call for a 2 hour window. really. waste my whole day for their mistake and had to buy more ice cream. they just dont care

Ronald finally got the right part and my dryer is fixed. He is the only reason for the update. Thanks Ronald.
Samsung set me up with them to service my 6 month old gas dryer. They sent a tech 3 x and every time he said the part came broken and needed to reorder. New tech came today and changed part and guess what that part was not the problem the "first tech was wrong" we now need to order another part. The tech went as far to blame the electrical circuit in my garage as well as the gas company. Don't have much faith in these certified techs but based on other reviews not many people do. To sum it 4 visits no solution and no dryer for a month. Hope Samsung finds a better option! -
If I could rate them zero, I would. I don't know why Samsung contracts with them to do warranty repairs!
It was really hard to get a day scheduled that worked for us. When that day finally came, I received a text that said the tech was on the way... to the wrong address, in another town! I responded to the text and called immediately. They are now saying that the earliest they can come to fix our appliance is in two weeks, the day of my husband's surgery. I've been on the phone with them for a couple of hours, and with Samsung, and they show no signs that they care at all for their mess up, nor the fact that we've missed a day's pay because of having to take off to be there today. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! In the last three years the Better Business Bureau has had 132 complaints against them. 132! I think that speaks volumes. -
They require payment of $140 fee BEFORE they will show up. Absolutely not! AND the service fee doesn't apply to the cost of repair. Are you insane?

3/11/2024 - I receive a Samsung Bespoke dishwasher that isn't working back in February. We try to get it functioning with our personal knowledge and come to the conclusion that we need a professional.
We reach out to Samsung early March and they funnel us to their maint. company (Service Quick) to have a technician come to our home and take a look. Service Quick picks the day about a week and a half out. I'm fine with that, we can work our schedule around that.
The morning of comes, they have articulated via email and text that they will call the morning of and provide a window. That doesn't happen. At noon, I decide it isn't morning anymore and I'll shoot an email, a text, and try to call them. I ask what the technician's planned arrival window is. My phone call is met with a "high demand for calls so let us call you back notice." I select that, (it's now 3/12/2024 - NEXT DAY at 9:30am and they haven't called me back for that request to call back).
Around 2:30, I receive a text saying that the technician will arrive between 2-4 pm on 3/11. At 4:30, I still haven't received a call, a text, an email, a knock on the door, nothing. Around 8pm, I send an email and a text asking them how their process failed so badly and what was going to happen as I rearranged my day to get my dishwasher fixed and I was completely ghosted by this company except for 1 text message that was automated saying he would be there between 2-4 (which wasn't even true).
The next morning, 3/12/24 I wake up to an email just stating that my service call was rescheduled for 3/13. Just rescheduled. No explanation, still no text, email, or phone call, letting me know how they had messed up or confused things. So I call them.
I receive a service call person that tells me that Management dealt with my issue already (I had no record or knowledge of this) and that the technician claimed I never answered my phone (went straight to voicemail supposedly) each time that they called. Note that this technician also had access to the text string and could have texted me and obviously chose not to if they really ever showed up.
The customer service contact kept telling me that they didn't want to dwell on the issue, we needed to move on, it wasn't a big deal, and that I either needed to be there all day, again, tomorrow, or I needed to pick another date and just move on.
Mind you, in this scenario, I have still had to do ALL of the reaching out, I can't get straight answers, the technician appears to be lying and doing the absolute bare minimum given that a text would have also sufficed for an arrival time update.
My Samsung experience has also been a terrible one but their third party contractors have been rude, not helpful, flaky, dishonest, and a waste of time. I cannot believe that Service Quick actually exists as a company and handles clients/customers the way that I was "dealt with."
I do not recommend bringing this company into your home to repair something, heck, they likely won't even show up.
I'd give them zero stars if I could. -
A lot of the reviews that I read were pretty bad, so I was genuinely concerned about the level of service that I would get.
Well, I had a very positive experience. The repair techs came on time (within the given 2 hour window). They quickly took down my broken microwave and had it repaired in about 30 minutes.
The Tech tested it twice to make sure it worked as it should.
The guys covered my oven with a blanket to protect it while the microwave was taken down.
It has worked ever since (about 2 weeks). Very impressed with the level of service that I got.
