If I could give them -5 stars I would. Very unprofessional and unreliable!!! A no show not once but twice!!! I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy! Definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know. How do you show up and say nothing is wrong with my AC and that it just needs the coils cleaned and after that is done it is worse that it was before you touched it!! Then when you were recalled to come back and fix it you dont show up. Seems this keeps happening when people use a home warranty according to your reviews.

Roberto and his crew were Amazing! My ac died out and I contacted them. They gave me the best price, the best customer service, and kept me updated with everything that was happening and going to happen with my new installation. Installation was fairly quick and my new unit keeps my house cool

My lenox gas furnace went out. I heard about star mechanical through a friend so i gave them a call.The owner joe responded right away and came out to diagnose the problem on a saturday on very short notice. Joe figured out the problem in 5 minutes. He got me the parts and prices the next day. Star Mechanical Is a very professional and experienced company. I recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

Joe Baker with Star Mechanical was awesome! He showed up on time and was very thorough in his diagnosis of both units. He went above and beyond to get both of our a/c units back up and running efficiently in just a few hours. He was professional, courteous and passionate about his craft. He explained exactly what he was doing throughout the repairs. I highly recommend Joe and he will definitely be my "go-to guy" for HVAC work! Kudos to Joe and his helper Jesus for a job well done!

Joe of Star Mechanical was a blessing for me today. My AC/Heating system stopped working and I had a different company come out for estimate. They told me I would need a whole new system which meant thousands of dollars. Joe came out and fixed the system for under $500!!!!!! System back up and running and my nerves are back in tact!!! Thank you again Joe!!! Highly recommend for your AC/heating issues!!!

After back-and-forth and finger-pointing between my home warranty company and Star mechanical, numerous cancellations and a recall, my HVAC is finally working. This took just over a week to fully resolve. I was extremely frustrated and still don’t know where the communication problem was. Unfortunately, this happened during the first significant heat wave in the area . The temperature inside my home was so uncomfortable, I could not stay there. The four hour time frames I was told the tech would be there was not honored with minimal communication, sometimes leading to a no-show. It is only because the tech stayed until after 10 PM to fully resolve, that I am giving a three star review.

Do not use this company. They did work on my home a year ago and I recently had problems again. He sent a whole bunch of teenagers to work on my house. Since then, I’ve had several HVAC contractors look in the crawlspace and they said that whoever did the work did a HORRIBLE job and I was robbed. I’ve heard this from more than one contractor. Get your HVAC done but this company ain’t the way!

I recently started having outrageous power bills and couldn't figure out why. Star Mechanical came out to run diagnostics on the unit and they were very thorough and competent. Joe Baker and crew were fast, efficient and professional. I'll recommend them to anybody!

Sent by our home warranty company (Cinch). Installed new HVAC improperly, and did not respond to calls when we reached out. Had issues with both heat and AC, but initially things would only be apparent when seasons changed. Another company sent by Cinch to fix things found numerous issues with the installation of the system. Home Warranty company said we had to get Star Mechanical to correct installation. Other companies submitted photos of errors in installation, still no response from Star Mechanical. At this point we have spent several thousand dollars having installation corrected over a period of over a year, on top of the money we also paid when installed (we owed over $1000 even with the warranty) and just found out we likely need a new compressor due to the stress on the system caused by the improper valves and pipes fitted and used by Star Mechanical. Highly recommend NOT using this company. We should have just paid a different company out of pocket from the beginning.

Star Mechanical was one of the best companies I have ever encountered in all my years of using contractors. My husband and I closed on our very first home on January 31, 2024. As soon as we closed on our home, someone stole the entire HVAC system from the home. We were instantly devastated. It was so bad that we considered putting the home back on the market because we felt it would be impossible to get repaired. We contacted Joe Baker at Star Mechanical, and he, without any hesitation, stated, "We are going to take care of you." They arrived in a party of four and worked countless hours until they were completely done. Each tech was professional, dressed in uniform, and very approachable. It almost felt as if my own brothers were installing our new system. It feels so welcoming to have a company like Star Mechanical serve the community with such grace and humanity. This experience gave us hope again for our new home. I am grateful to have had this experience with such a wonderful company. If you're looking for an affordable heating and cooling company, Star Mechanical will take very good care of you.

Chris Miller is a great plumber and took care of my backflow prevention testings. Have used and known about this company for years and you can’t beat the knowledgeable staff that is on hand with this firm .
