I was assigned this company through AHS in June 2023 to fix an issue i was having with my fridge. My fridge was making a loud grinding sound and then would eventually cut off so the tech came and replaced the fan and the motherboard. Within 3 days i started hearing the noise again and after a few visits the tech came to the conclusion that there was a leak in my ice maker that was causing ice to form in the back of the freezer so he stated that he "fixed" my ice maker but now i dont get ice at all and if i turn the ice maker on water leaks through the dispenser on the front door. Appliance Protection LLC falsely stated they ordered the part to fix this months ago and i did not hear from them. I had AHS contact them and they falsely stated again that they ordered the part and would reach out to me and they still did not. I reached out to AHS today to get an update from Appliance Protection LLC and they didnt respond to them either. Thankfully AHS has cancelled the request with them and provided a new vendor but I would not recommend this company if you want quality, timely work done.

Our Home Warranty company set us up with Appliance Protection on 3/11/15 for repair of our washer and dryer. I left Sammy a message and he called me back within 2 hours to set up an appointment for the next day. He showed up when he said he would, replaced the knob on the washer and said he had to order a part for the dryer. 6 days later the part had arrived and another technician came and installed it. Everything is working fine and I am very pleased with this company's service. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Arrived when they said they would on the same day I called. Sami was friendly & explained everything he was doing. He fixed my washing machine at a reasonable cost & even fixed my leaking refrigerator for free! Highly recommend! Great service!

I had a microwave oven repair submitted through American Home Shield (AHS) on October 22, 2023. Appliance Protection was assigned the ticket and came to my house on October 24, 2023 to diagnose my oven. They determined the control board and another part was bad. I called them four times between November and December 2023 to get an update on my repair. I was told the technician would return my call. He never called me. I called them in January 2024 to get an update. Finally, a supervisor told me the part was no longer available and they would recommend replacing the oven to AHS. This is February 21, 2024 and my oven is still not replaced. AHS says they are waiting on the authorization from this company. I called the supervisor (Sammy) the last couple of days. He finally returned my call and does not know the status of this request. The lady I talked to at this company hung up the phone on me. They are rude and very unprofessional. DO NOT USE!

Update: Appliance Protection I will not be calling you because American Home Shield got a different vendor who didn't make false claims. This happened back in June/July.

Unfortunately, I was assigned this company by my home warranty company for an issue I was having with my dishwasher, where it stopped heating. They came out and, without really doing any investigation, said it was the heating element, and it had to be ordered.
After they got the part, they put it in, and after using my dishwasher, it still was not heating. I did check a few more times, and it still did npt heat. Appliance Protection LLC falsely stated to AHS that they were waiting on the heating element. How are they waiting on the heating element when they already installed it.

This contractor was sent by the warranty company American home shield to fix my dishwasher and dryer . I only used the dishwasher one time and stopped working. I called the company a week after to place a recall request but never received one. Fast forward almost 4 months after the initial service request I have spoken to almost 10 different representatives and many phone calles with American home shield and the subcontractor I was told that I am not eligible for a recall. Those warranty companies are scams, stay away from them

I called on a Saturday afternoon and got an immediate answer. I was told someone would be here within a half hour and they were. My dryer was repaired and I had it working within an hour of him arriving. He was professional and thorough. He was very knowledgeable about the problem and was able to fix it right away. I would definitely recommend.

Appliance Protection LLc Service was exceptional. They were on time, extremely professional and corrected our problem in a very short period of time. OK I would definitely use them again and strongly recommend them as a contractor of choice.

Had a tech come out that was contracted through ahs on Dec 4 2023 to fixed my clothes washer. He said he would order the parts and they would arrive in 7-10 business days which would be this week. Didn’t catch his name as he never gave it. Just contacted ahs for a status update and wouldn’t you know appliance protection is following their trend of not ordering parts when promised since they just ordered them today! Two weeks down and we are looking at another two weeks without a working washer! Super convenient as we have a handicap individual in our home who is prone to accidents! Too bad I can’t rate this company in the negative!

Appliance Protection was able to visit my home within 2 business days to address the issue with our washing machine. Sami took the time to diagnose the problem and accurately assess what needed to be done to resolve the maintenance issues we experienced. He even resolved an issue with some oil getting onto our carpet promptly and professionally. We highly recommend this company!

Nick is the best dishwasher technician we have ever had before. He knows his job. Very dependable and courteous. I will recommend him to my family and friends.

I had a terrible experience with Appliance Protection LLC – they came to service my appliance, caused more damage, and then falsely claimed it was pest-related damage, even though I asked for clarification. It’s clear they’re not here to do honest business, and I believe American Shield should reconsider their partnership with this company.

Although technician is very nice, been almost two months and still w/o dishwasher. Said parts were ordered. Called AHS last week and they told me parts were delivered to contractor on January 11, 2024. Called contractor the lady who answered said she would contact supervisor and call me back. After 2 days not hearing from anyone, I called and was told they didn’t receive.
Will give one more chance to both AHS and contractor to resolve asap before moving towards legal. Not that we can’t wash dishes but that’s not the issue. We pay a lot for warranty service and rely on their contractor recommendations. I don’t care where the fault lies at this point—I want it fixed within one week.

Assigned by my home warranty for an appliance repair. Initial reviews indicated negative comments about this company. However, my experience was very positive. They responded less than 24 hrs after I submitted my request. Technician called in advance and worked with me on my availability. He diagnosed the problem and ordered a part. Returned for the install, problem solved. No issues whatsoever. Knowledgeable and professional, would do business with them again.

Received very poor service. Had been assigned by warranty company American Home Shield. Came to the house but didn't send the report to AHS till almost 3 weeks later to say that appliances are not covered. 3 weeks to send a report just to be told that. Ridiculous! It was also SO hard to get a hold of anyone from their office. And when I got someone on the phone, I was told the technician will call me back which never happened. Then, I got the run around between the company and AHS just to be finally told that they are not covering appliances and that the technician will
not come back. Very bad experience.

I was very happy and pleased with appliance protection! Sami was extremely professional and helpful from beginning to end! He was very kind and responsive throughout the entire process and i appreciated that a lot! He worked with Nick to repair my washing machine and when I had a minor issue with my repair Nick came back out immediately to see to it being fixed! Thank you both very much again!

I wish I could give them zero star, but there is no option for that, I have to say a lot about my experience, but it will be waste of time. Simply, I will say to everybody avoid them at any cost and stay away from them. I have American shield Home insurance, And they send Appliance protection vendor to my home to fix and diagnosed my stove? contractor intentionally send them the wrong diagnose because when he came to see my stove at that time the contractor asked me to rate their service and I told him I will rate you guys when the job is finished he did not like that. He wasted a lot of my time and report the wrong diagnose. I called them many time. they did not answer my phone American shield must remove them from their list because these people are dishonest cheater and liars. No American shield is gonna send me another company for second opinion but I have to pay another service call to them which is another $125 but I will pay this fee to prove them wrong and hopefully my stove will be fix because oven is not working and two of the top burners are not working. When the contractor came, I told him this issue with my stove. He said OK fine I got it. I will send the report instead. He did not mention anything about the burners or the oven. He told them that top glass was cracked or broken and American home shield told me that is not covered. My issue is the burners and the oven and they did not mention anything in the report about my burners or oven.

Sam is the best. He is always very knowledgeable about my appliances and fixes them with no problem.

I had a horrible experience with Appliance Protection LLC. They came out to fix a leak, but instead of fixing the issue, they messed up my water switch on the washing machine. Now, my washing machine is in worse condition than before. They’re claiming bugs and cockroaches attacked it, which is a complete lie and just an excuse for their poor service. It’s obvious all they did was cause more damage. I won’t trust them to fix anything, and I definitely won’t let them into my home again. I highly recommend avoiding them at all costs.
