They were very responsive and got an agent out to our house to look at our dryer very quickly. He diagnosed and fixed the issue in a timely matter. I really liked that he explained what the issue was and how he fixed it. It gave me piece of mind that the job was done well. We have had several repairs completed by this company and are very satisfied. We will definitely continue using this service!

The absolute worse customer service you will ever experience. I had to call 3 times a week for 4 weeks to get updates. They would tell me to contact the supervisor every time to see what is going on. The supervisor has never answered the phone once. Paid the fee to come inspect and nothing has been fixed for 4 weeks. Do not trust this company this will be super communicative do get your money for the inspection fee then will never come back.

I am not sure how they get 4 stars; they aren't professional; I had a horrible experience with Appliance Protection LLC. They came out to fix a leak and problem in my dishwasher, after waiting one month for the 3 parts, they came with one part, and after another contractor came, he found out they did the worst job any technician could do. They’re claiming what I asked to be fixed is cosmetic, but the other contractor found it was a significant issue, and he fixed all of them. Poor service. I won’t trust them to fix anything, so I highly recommend avoiding them at all costs.

Called, scheduled an appointment. Nobody called or showed up. Don't waste your time.

No-showed my service appointment, never followed up with me. Called many times, only ever got an answer once and was told they'd call me back after speaking with a supervisor. Phone call was never returned. I had to have American Home Shield cancel the service request on their end.

Canceled on me twice. they demand a 4 hour service window but wont call you if they have to cancel. Customer service is terrible and was asked to use them from American Home Shield.

These guys came out right away and fixed out appliance our dryer got clogged and they went above and beyond and got us in before the snow storm super pleased with Sami

It’s been almost a month without a drier because it is impossible to get updates from this company. We were referred to them by the home insurance, which at this point feels more like a joke or scam. All we need is a report on how much spare parts would cost and we are yet to receive this simple information…

Warning about this company:

I want to share a warning about this company, which appears to have some kind of arrangement with insurance company Home Shield. They conducted an inspection and claimed that they will order a part that needs to be fixed. However, the insurance company is now saying the report they received was completely different from what the inspector told me. I have full coverage for any broken part for the washer, and they are denying claim based on report findings.
I've been trying to get a copy of that report for a couple of weeks now. Every day, the Appliance Protection company either lies about sending it or gives a different excuse. Their supervisor is also avoiding contact and not returning calls.
They seem to be involved in shady practices, and I strongly believe they should be reported.
One thing is 100% certain — you'll end up at a loss if you deal with them. I’ve been waiting for weeks to get my laundry machine fixed or replaced. Avoid this company if you can.

Appliance Protection completed several jobs for us and each were completed with professionalism and reasonable accommodations for us. I recommend them hold heartedly for any appliance related issues. Hired through American Home sheid. I don't do reviews but I had to because they were Awesome!!!

I hired Appliance Protection LLC through American Home Shield to repair my dishwasher. During the repair, their technician caused a major water leak that damaged my unit and two neighboring units below mine. Instead of taking responsibility, the company blamed me for their mistake and stopped returning my calls. I now have to pay for all the water damage, a new dishwasher, and repairs for other units — all because of their negligence. I submitted my service request on August 27, 2025 and the repair was made by another company on October 23, 2025 for timeframe reference purposes.

Their lack of accountability, unprofessional communication, and refusal to make things right is unacceptable. If you value your home and peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs. I trusted them as a warranty-approved vendor, and it turned into a nightmare. Save yourself the stress and hire a reputable, insured company that stands behind their work.

The company did an excellent job fixing our microwave. The service was quick, professional, and very courteous. The repair was completed efficiently, and everything is working perfectly now. I would definitely recommend their services.

I had a very similar bad experience as others have with this company. My laundry machine had broken and would stop mid cycle. American Home Shield had scheduled a time for a technician from this company to come. First unusual thing was they called me and said they could come a few days earlier than the scheduled date but noticed status of the request was not updated. Technician took a look at my washer and said the drum was broken. A few days passed but my request was still pending and awaiting the report. I called Home shield and they were not even aware the technician arrived already. It took more than 3 weeks of the warranty company and myself calling them to provide the report. After waiting so long they came back and said it was my fault my 10 year old GE washer broke. I requested the report but still could not get a copy of it.

Luckily I was able to convince AHS to send another technician from a different company. One that was certified with GE products. They managed to figure out the issue in a fraction of the time and provide a new report that stated there was no evidence of actual misuse.

My husband and I dealt with Appliance protection LLC for ELEVEN weeks, almost 3 months, and we were extremely unsatisfied and unhappy with their poor, disrespectful and unprofessional service.
Leon was rude every single time we asked for more information about the time frame for our dryer’s repair, the status of the replacing piece, and what to expect next. Not only he was arrogant and inconsiderate, but he lied to us about the process they have in place such as receiving pieces and not checking them before scheduling appointments, time of appointment and being late.
We had 3 appointments with them, the 2nd being canceled the day of and the 3rd with them never showing up, then lying to our home insurance saying they were late, but yet never showing up.

If you are considering service with this company, be warned - they do not care about the customer or the service they should provide.
I kept records of communication, time frame and shared with our home insurance and luckily got reassigned to a company that actually takes customers serious and respect them and their time.

In short - use another company and avoid at all cost dealing with Leon.

My washer was not advancing through the phases of the cycle. American Home Shield scheduled this company. The technician Sam came to repair on 24 Nov, and decided it needed a new latch. He left to go to his vehicle to see if he had the part. Almost 30 mins later and he still hasn't returned. I text him to check his status and said, "I guess you dont have the latch?" He replied, no we're ordering. Then I didn't get a notice that it was ordered until 2 days later. Finally 10 days later on 6 Dec they called to reschedule because they received the part. A different tech, Badar(?), showed up today, 8 Dec. My appointment was 12-4pm. He showed up at 515pm. No one called to say they were running late. Even talked to their dispatch at 310pm to make sure they were still coming. Called him back at 430pm, and no answer. So Badar installed the latch but he didn't stick around long enough to see if the washer was advancing on its own. He started it, then manually advanced to light wash; I assume to make it go faster through the wash to see if it would advance. Then he left before it advanced to the next stage. He just said they have a 30 day guarantee and left. It did not advance. I manually moved to rinse, then it didn't advance to spin. Its not working. Now I have to get them to come back or have American Home Shield send a different company. Communication sucked, repair didn't work, and delayed service. Do not use them.

I was assigned Appliance Protection LLC through my home warranty (AHS) for a dishwasher issue. The technician arrived, opened the door, closed it within minutes, and confidently declared he knew the problem “after several years of doing this.” Total time in my home: about five minutes. On his way out, he asked me to leave a 5-star review — before any repair was completed.

After multiple follow-ups about the “ordered part,” calls eventually went unanswered. When I contacted my warranty company, I was told this company reported the damage as “intentional” and not covered — despite no actual troubleshooting being performed.

Extremely disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend using a different service provider.
