Called into the emergency hot line for a toilet repair.
The service representative was rude and curt and was not helpful in suggestions for options that were available.
Not a good experience when dealing with emergency plumbing issues.

I am currently into a remolding project for my home, which entails a new kitchen and replacing flooring throughout the house. During the beginning stages of the project I hired a “certified” electrician who was dishonest, unreliable and moreover not qualified. Because of this I contacted CFS Services Inc and spoke with Mr. Fred Petrus. Mr. Petrus immediately listen to my existing problems with respect to the electrical work. He assigned one of his top electricians to come to my house and assess the existing work, then base on the findings provided a sound plan to correct the previous electrician mistakes. CFS perform the work flawlessly, they corrected all the mistakes, as well as made sound recommendations which enhanced the project. When dealing with CFS I have found them to be straight forward, honest and their contractors professional. I highly recommend CFS as a company.

Last month, CFS replaced all of the 28-year old polybutylene plumbing in our house with PEX. All members of the team were polite and helpful. For a house with 3.5 bathrooms, kitchen, and two spigots, the replacement only took two days. To get to the pipes, several dozen holes in our walls and ceiling had to be cut and the crew was very conscious of minimizing drywall dust and used a lot of plastic coverings to protect our property. They were fast, professional, and answered all customer questions thoroughly to make us feel confident in their approach and work. I recommend working with CFS for this vital home repair.

We were in need of a house re-pipe after moving in a few months ago, and Fred’s estimate came in well below anyone else who took a look at what needed to be done. He and his team did an incredible job and were in and out of our house in no time at all. Not only did they complete the re-piping in two days, they put in several new fixtures for us and discovered (and repaired) several issues with our plumbing we didn’t even know we had. I cannot recommend this company enough and would absolutely refer anyone I know to them for any plumbing needs!

Heat pump stopped working on Thursday July 11. They charge you upfront for the service call. Then they tell you that they charge you 3% more if you pay by credit card. Okay, so I paid by check. Technician asked for my email address so the main office can send me an estimate. Fine. After not receiving an estimate by Tuesday, July 16, I called the main office who informed me that I will be receiving an email by close of business. Today is close of business Thursday, July 18. Still no email. But one thing they did well is cash my check as it cleared on Wednesday.

Reputable companies provide estimates before the technician leaves. I missed this red flag.

Hey all. Just wanted to share an excellent homeowner experience because sometimes it's nice to hear something positive.

Our air conditioner unit was about 30 years old when it shut down on a Monday. We knew it was coming, so we already had asked for recommendations. We ended up going with Justice Heating and AC of Woodbridge, and can't say enough good things about them.

Harold and his assistant, Andrew, appeared bright and early at our house Tuesday morning after I called Monday night at about 6 p.m seeking a fix. They offered a reasonable price to repair, but considering the unit's age, replacing made more sense to us. They ordered molded sheet metal to connect to existing duct work, and got right to work the following morning around 10... and then the power in the whole neighborhood went out. For hours.

With no way to finish the job, Harold and Andrew did as much as they could and then went to another job. They told me to call back as soon as the power came back and they would finish, but I quietly anticipated it would have to happen on another day. Seemed reasonable.

To my surprise, Harold and Andrew returned around 8 p.m. after finishing a job in Silver Spring. They got back to work, made a stop at Lowe's around 9 for some pipe, and finished about 10:30, all in good humor.

On top of all that, their prices were quite reasonable -- better than we had expected, based on our homework.

Harold was able to fix the A/C unit in next to no time, it was amazing. He did not have the part that was needed, so he built it on the spot. Even with that little snag he was done in about 30 minutes. He was able to diagnose the problem very quickly and fixed it in what I assume had to be record time. We are very happy with all aspects of the service, not to mention that he’s a really nice guy. Harold is our HVAC Hero!

This review is long overdue for Harold and his outstanding AC crew. Several years ago, our old AC unit was slowly dying and we called Justice after reading positive reviews in our neighborhood Facebook group. Harold showed up with a smile and spent hours trying to give our old AC unit a few more years of life. He did just that and his prices were extremely reasonable, considering the amount of time he spent at our home. This past spring, we put on a home addition and knew exactly who to call to install and upgrade a new unit. Harold came over multiple times as the project progressed to give us advice on which AC unit to go with and expertly installed it towards the end of construction. Even in a global pandemic, Harold was always kind, professional, wearing a mask, and was constantly making my 10 month old daughter smile as he came in and out of our home. He went above and beyond to ensure we had working AC as the temperature started to rise in mid-May, even if that meant finishing up his work on a Saturday or Sunday. We are so pleased with his work and look forward to seeing him for our annual maintenance.

Justice is fantastic. For the past several years, they have done the annual service and check up on all of the units at our small condo building in NW DC. Very prompt, polite, and professional. Recently, I had an AC breakdown and I called a well-known competitor. The tech was late in arriving and claimed my unit could not be repaired but only replaced at a cost of $6,000+! I called Justice and they came out the next day and quickly diagnosed the problem and returned the following day at my convenience to do the repair. The service is great, Harold is friendly and professional, and the outcome is great. My AC is working better than ever and the total cost was 90% less than the cost of replacement.

Harold has been my go-to guy HVAC for more than a decade. When I moved into my Condo 20 years ago a big firm told me I would need to replace within a year. Somehow, I found Justice, and Harold fixed my unit at a reasonable price and then kept it alove for THIRTEEN years!! When it finally needed replacing, he went over and beyond the call of duty to source and install a new unit. He's services it every year and takes pride in making sure its always working great. Don't hesitate to call them, they are the best.
