Comfortable Air company is an excellent family-owned company that provides excellent and accurate diagnostics of your furnace and air conditioner systems. You can trust them with doing an excellent job of repairing your HVAC system or installing anything that can improve air quality. I wouldn’t use any other company.

Our tech, Kevin, was knowledgeable and had a very positive attitude. He willingly explained what he was doing and sustained a professional presence throughout the visit. We had a simple requirement to check our HCAV and hot water heater and accomplished all tasks in an efficient manner. We are thoroughly Satisfied with CAS, and they have provided service for us since we moved into our home 18 years ago.

I trusted him for many years. I have had Hugo come to my home every fall and every spring for the last 10 years to inspect my HVAC systems. I always thought of him as a nice and fair man.

My first problem with Hugo was in 2016 when he added freon to my system. He added 2.6 pounds of freon. I signed the bill and paid him. Later when I looked at the bill I noticed that he charged me for 3 pounds and not 2.6. When I questioned him about it, he said he rounds the weight up to a whole number. I took the hit for that because I should have read the bill carefully before I paid.

More recently Hugo came to my home to inspect my air conditioning systems. After inspecting them he told me that the freon levels were low and it was now illegal to buy or sell freon. I wondered about that because he replaced freon in 2016 which implies there was a leak so why didn't he fix the leak? I suspect he wanted to replace the units all along. He said I needed to replace both systems and wrote me estimates to replace them. Estimates to replace the upstairs system ranged from $5100-$6419. Estimates to replace the downstairs system ranged from $4088-$5000.

I called three other HVAC companies and each was able to replace the freon. The individual who came to my home said the freon in the upstairs unit was fine and the downstairs unit needed one pound of freon. One pound!!!

I thought Hugo and I had a good business relationship but apparently not. Trying to swindle me out of $10K. Not cool.

Moses did an excellent job explaining the condition of my furnace. He was also thorough in terms of his assessment. I could clearly tell he was excellent in his craft.

We had a problem with wiring in the basement and Darwin came on time today and did a great job of explaining what the problem was and how he was going to correct it. He did exactly as he said he would, and I had lights again in all aspects of the house that I’m in. I was really pleased with the bill based on the work done and the time that was spent getting it done. This will be the only service that I use going forward

Had to edit my review, went from a five star review to a half a star if I could. 1hr after my unit was "fixed" it went out again. Long story short: That was Friday and here it is Monday, still waiting. I have pre-paid for the "yearly contract" that gives customers priority and for labor for a part that has not yet been replaced in my unit.
