Called Walker’s this morning to fix an a/c unit that had been out 11days. Had initially worked with the same company who installed the unit 3 years ago (not Walker’s) but they were having issues with the repair. Justin from Walker’s came a few hours after my call and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem - the repair guy from the installer had wired the new capacitor incorrectly. Problem solved.

We had the Walker Family Plan last year and forgot to renew. So when an issue arose, we called another (larger) company to diagnose the issue. This other HVAC company told us we had a variety of issues that needed to be resolved which resulted in a bill in excess of $4600.

Fortunately, I remembered the great service we received with Walker last year on our single family home and townhome so I decided to call. I’m so glad I did because their technicians are honest and informative. There was no upselling of repairs and they validated that the issues that the other company pointed out were non-existent.

In the end, they provided great service and transparent communication while saving us thousands of dollars. We plan on staying with Walker Heating & Air!

Justin was very personable, explained things really well, and was able to quickly diagnose this issue with our air conditioner and resolve it. I appreciated how quickly it was from when I called requesting service to when Justin was able to get to my house. With the weather being so hot, we needed our unit fixed quickly and were very pleased and grateful.

We were dealing with a broken AC unit due to a leak in our cooling coils. I had called 5 to 6 other businesses. Kevin from Walker Heating & Air was quick to respond and provided me with 2 separate solutions of trying to fix it and if it was unfixable, the cost od trying to fix it would be deducted. The technician was on time, professional and provided details of what was wrong and that it would need to be replaced.

I had some general questions to help me understand the different pieces of the unit and called Kevin who kindly answered all my questions without making me feel incompetent.

They were quick and reasonably priced and got everything done. It was pretty painless. We had an issue the next day, however, where our house wasn't cooling. I sent an email to Walker Heating & Air at 7:30 pm and received a quick response and a call, saying they could come out to check it out. The blower in my furnace wasn't working. They didnt charge me for that appointment or for replacing the blower fan.

I definitely recommend as their quality of service and customer service was fantastic.

We have used Walker Heating and Air two times in just over a year. Both technicians were extremely knowledgeable and communicated well what the problems with my current system as well as different options available for repair.

Professional, prompt, well priced and EXCELLENT workmanship. We compared three companies for our HVAC replacement with the Walker Team being the clear choice at the end. The quoting process was detailed, pleasant and no stress. When install day came, the crew arrived as planned, explained everything and followed through. After installation, everything was cleaned up, my basement looked great and my upstairs has never been cooler! We are very pleased and recommend Walker to anyone.

I do not know where to start with this review. So I will start out by saying DO NOT CALL ANYONE ELSE & STOP READING REVIEWS if you want the most superb service ever. This company by far is the best I have ever worked with from beginning to end. My 27 year old heat pump finally went out for good and was not worth fixing it anymore thus I was in the market for a new unit. After reviewing google reviews I found this company and decided to give them a call and what do you know I get a call back from Kevin right away. Kevin talked to me and listened to my needs and did not try to sell me half to death. Kevin said that HE(not some random salesman) would come out and take a look and see if he had a unit in my size available. The pricing that he gave was very reasonable. Kevin and team(Mark & Jimmy) on installation day which was only 1.5 days later were so respectful of my home. After installation Kevin spent more time with me on everything that my unit can do and how to keep it in good condition.

The extra things that this company did for me like listening to my complaints about my house and working to make sure it would not be a problem going forward. My townhouse was 3 different temperatures by 10-15 degrees since I bought this house 11 years ago. Kevin and team worked to figure the problem which was not just installing a new unit. Needless to say they fixed the problem which I have been trying to do for years with other AC companies. Since installation 3 days ago my house for the first time has been the same temperature on all three levels.

I am very much looking forward to seeing these guys again on my maintenance call in the future. :)

Amazing service! Kevin and his team did an amazing job installing my new HVAC Unit. They are all very knowledgeable and respectful. My HVAC unit was going bad and In less than a week from the initial estimate date, Kevin was able to come out and replace everything at a very reasonable price.

These guys came out because auxiliary heat kept coming on. They diagnosed the problem very quick and lt ended up being a simple part that was long overdue to be replaced. Great work 👏 thank you

I'd give this company 6 stars if I could. Mark came out only two hours after my first call. He diagnosed the issue quickly and we eventually decided to replace the entire HVAC system (old system was 15 years old). The very next day, Mark and Jim came out to remove the old system and install the new one. Both were extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and were there to answer any questions I had. it's great to know I can reach out to them any time and put a name to a face. With the competition, they sub-contract their work and it's anyone's guess who'll show up. I'm a customer for life and can't express how happy I am with Walker Heating & Air Conditioning. Walker HVAC came out to service our HVAC system that was struggling to keep up with a Virginia Heat Wave. When I called they didn't have any space available until the following week, but within an hour they had found a place to fit me in. They were professional and clear about everything from first booking the appointment to completing the work. They did not attempt to upsell anything I did not need and they quoted me a very fair price. When I agreed to the price Justin completed the work quickly and efficiently. I am beyond pleased. We had amazing service with Walker Heating & Air Conditioning. I knew we had to replace our A/C. It was old and on the fritz. I looked up several places on google and loved that this place was not a big company I had a good feeling after reading their reviews, so I called them up and they came the same day. Kevin walked us through the whole process of getting our system replaced. He was very thorough with emails and texts. The day of installation his team was on time, professional and worked diligently. Kept us informed with everything they were doing. Showed me how to work the new Thermostat after everything was installed and even finished earlier than stated. I will continue to use them for maintaining my AC. I am very pleased with everything. Top notch service.

I can't say enough good things about Walker HVAC. They are honest, polite, knowledgeable, available quickly, you can schedule online, their arrival window is only 2 hrs and they are always timely, they let you know when they're otw, they cover their shoes (iykyk), they have talked me out of expensive fixes, and their maintenance membership is one of the cheapest I've seen. We had them work on our old unit, replaced our unit with them a few years ago, and maintenance since then, and it's one of the few home appointments I never dread.

Keeps breaking and they stopped responding. Our house is set to 80 and the temp is at 57. They came to fix it and the same issue is happening again. It’s down to 71 now and keeps dropping. New filter. Turned everything off and on. The heater is just not working.

I recently had my air conditioning unit replaced, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. The new system works perfectly and has made a noticeable difference in my home comfort.
I’d especially like to thank the two technicians who came to my home (John & Jimmy) they were professional, efficient, and very courteous throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail and care in completing the job were truly appreciated.
