FloHawks charged us $381.76 to tell us our septic tank is running fine despite us having water back up in the home a few days before they could come out. The FloHawk technician said he could clearly see where the water level had been high before a couple days earlier when we immediately stopped using the water, so obviously there was an issue since the water was draining much slower than it should. They still passed it off as completely ok without even popping off the lid to the beginning of the leach field.

We had a bad feeling because FloHawks telling us everything is completely fine when clearly there was an issue. So we called a different septic company who actually did pop off the lid to the beginning of the leach field to see it was much fuller than it should be. The other septic company pushed a camera through the leach field and saw no roots where blocking it so something else was causing the issue. They ended up finding water pooling above the end of both leach field after digging a few feet. They confirmed our leach field is not draining as it should and is therefore failed. And they did show us the pooling water when they were here.

I called FloHawks to explain they missed this major issue and requesting a refund which they said they had to pass the message along to their supervisor. I did not hear back within the 48 hours they said they would contact back within so I reached out again asking for a possible solution: If they can check the leech field we can pay the difference from what we already paid them last time when they missed this big issue. The other septic company that did that for us charged us about $500 to check the leach field.

2 hours later after talking to FloHawks we get a ridiculous quote for $3,605.55 to dig up the whole leach field, replace pipes, install “inspection ports” , and just bunch of other stuff we did not talk about. So I called them back confused, explaining to them again what we had asked was if we can just pay the difference for them to confirm leach field is flooded so we have another confirmation of what the other septic company said. I was passed along to some guy who kept saying over and over again “I do not see what FloHawks did wrong” when I explained everything and how they passed us as ok when clearly our septic system is not functioning properly. They utterly refused to refund us or check our leach field area without all the other ridiculous work they quoted in the $3,605.55 quote (which included a $350 “discount” of what we already paid- actually we paid $381.76 so it was even less than that).

Clearly we are in a very difficult situation being without fully functioning plumbing and the cost to get a whole new septic system as everyone knows is about 50K plus about 3 months of waiting. I don’t understand how after FloHawks missed a major issue they refuse to rectify their mistake with a refund when we obviously need the money back. Money hungry company. Please beware when using FloHawks.

I'll start off by saying the techs are awesome. They are always kind and quick. My issue was with the billing. They overcharged us by over $500 with what their quote was before they started working and what we had agreed to. Then when I enquired about it, was told they'd look into it and never heard a word back. It was disheartening because like I said, the techs that came out were great. But we probably won't use them again because I felt like they were dishonest about the pricing

Junior worked at my house and cleaned out my septic. Awesome employee you guys got. I will be a future costumer for sure because of him. Thanks for the great service and great pricing as well.

We made an appointment today for 8-12. Late morning we were told that they would not arrive until “afternoon” but would not provide a new estimate. In the afternoon we got a call saying there was one appointment ahead of us. At 430 we received the last call we would get. “Candace” said that there was still one more person ahead of us. It’s now after 8 and we have not heard anymore from them. Maybe they have enough customers that poor service, communication, and dependability is survivable. But my husband doesn’t work at home and when a full day is taken off for the promise of a service, it’s pretty disappointing.

I’m sure a friendly “thanks for your feedback” will be tagged below this comment…but considering the number of other comments that cite similar behavior it doesn’t seem sincere.

This business sucks... Gave me a 5hr window to arrive so i was already not pleased. I drove 1 hour to be at the property and waited until the last 30 min of that window. I called and they said they cant come anymore because they were "Too Busy" ... They were going to no call no show me... Not to sound pretentious but my time really is valued at 4500 a day because that my current cost of operation... So I would recommend skipping this place and go with Howdy's Doody Services... They squeezed me in last minute and got the job done all while maintaining professional communication..

Don't call.these guys, they don't know if they can help clear an RV black tank.... Customer service wasn't sure if they could help..... It's a 2005 toy hauler , needs the Black water tank cleared out ... How hard is that to understand....

This company is absolutely fantastic and stands out above and beyond many others that I've dealt with. The professionalism and friendliness of this company have blown me away. This gentleman is not even out of my driveway yet, and I'm on here writing a review. This gentleman came in and assessed the situation and then broke it down, leaving me with no questions at all regarding the process and the price. He estimated
the time of completion and then got to work! It's Memorial Day weekend...no crazy prices! No price gouging... no fast talk. These are the people to call. And when you've dealt with many others and you come across a group of people like this...sing their praises! Well deserved! **Thanks, Alan!!

Gabriel arrived as my tech to repair both my shower fixtures & outside faucet. Not only was he professional with his work, but he really cared for other concerns I had as well. I'm so impressed with this company & would request Gabriel if I have other issues!

I have used American Plumbing twice. Once for an emergency then again for some plumbing updates. Both times they were timely, considerate, thoughtful, and worked efficiently. For the emergency, they came to just cap off the line. But realized it would be just as quick to fix it. Which I very much appreciated.

Top notch service from American Plumbing! I called with an emergent plumbing need after hours. Casey answered and scheduled service immediately. While on site, they went above and beyond to make sure I got the best service possible. From start to finish, they were highly professional and easy to work with. Can’t recommend this company enough! Will be calling again for any plumbing needs.

American plumbing replaced my entire main water line. Gabriel and his partner were right on time, kept me informed of everything relevant, we're very professional. They did a neat job and the clean up was excellent. I can't say enough good about this company. The whole job was way faster than I imagined. Thank you so much. I'm glad to know who to go to for any other plumbing issues.

American came out for an emergency ruptured pipe under a manufactured home of a family member. The plumber, Austin, came out in the late afternoon on a Saturday and had everything fixed in under an hour. Great work, great service, and the rate was very reasonable (especially given the circumstances, + senior discount).
I'd definitely use them again.

Aaron came out on short notice and replaced our badly leaking 18-year old water heater. He was friendly, intelligent, informative, and professional. I have nothing negative to say--he did a great job and I would definitely welcome Aaron and American Plumbing again in the future.

Austin was extremely professional and quickly diagnosed the problem with my storm drain and fixed it. He made a point to explain what he was doing and seeing and kept me posted with his progress. Would absolutely call them again next time

Our water stopped running!! I called American plumbing and Gabriel came out on an after hours call. He diagnosed the problem and got the water running again. We had to get a new pump tank. It was a complicated problem requiring replacing rusty pipes and updating the electrical switch as well as installing the new tank. Gabriel went above and beyond to get the job done. He was courteous, professional and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Fast, efficient, professional, and competent. From scheduling to communicating to fixing our issues, American Plumbing did a great job and treated us and our home with respect. Very pleased with American and with Gabe, the tech who solved our problems.

I recently had a water leak in the evening and needed assistance. I called American Plumbing and was given a service appointment early the next morning. Gabriel came out and solved the problem. He was very courteous and professional. I was very happy with the service.

American Plumbing was very fast and reliable. It was late at night and they had someone available ASAP on call to get the work done. Austin came to my place and did an awesome job and quick.
