Another great experience with Paris Plumping! Chris came today and was on time, fast, and really pleasant. He fixed a broken shower drain, dripping spigot and helped us make a plan to add a new spigot. He was friendly, got the job done, and gave great advice.

I love this company. I have been calling them for the last 10 years. They are responsive, they are professional, they give great advice. I didn't realize they also install water heaters. Today, they replaced a 2001 leaky water heater with a new one. Gene and Alex came, as promised, at 9am and were done by noon. They also had to check and rebuild a leaky faucet.
In the past, I had a different company come look at the leaky pipe and they were going to break the floor to see where it was coming from. Lee from Paris Plumbing came over, put in a valve and was done in an hour. Love these people.

Paris Plumbing completely takes the stress out of plumbing related issues. The crew is so incredibly friendly, fast, and does quality work! When we had an issue with our hot water heater, I got called Paris Plumbing and got ahold of someone RIGHT AWAY! They scheduled someone to come out and take a look a day later, and before we knew it, we had a new hot water heater! Our lives barely skipped a beat because of their quick work! The crew was super fast, friendly, and informative!

Honestly can't say enough positive things about my experience with them. HIGHLY recommended if you want to take the stress out of plumbing issues!

I know many folks have given Paris Plumbing pretty good reviews, but I suspect many have not had to deal with follow-up issues where the quality of the original work was not very good.

A few important things you should know about these guys. First off, they charge a minimum flat fee per visit of $200 (which is essentially their hourly rate). So even if you need them to unclog a toilet which would probably take them 5 minutes, it’s going to cost you $200 minimum (as of 2022). Here’s the other problem with Paris - they don’t stand behind their work. Essentially, you have only 30 days. If something they worked on fails. After 30 days, you’re screwed and will have to pay them at least another $200.

Now to our work. Paris came out last year to fix a few issues with our shower controller. First, the handle was extremely difficult to shutoff without water dripping. Second, the temperature value failed so hot water was no longer consistent. They sent Tim (a family member) out to do the work. Tim was able to fix the issue of handle turning off water, however, he needed to order a new part for the temperature controller. This first visit lasted about 30-45min and invoiced roughly $200. Once the new part came in, Tim came back to install it, which took less than 10 minutes. Ding - another $200 invoice. We probably should not have been billed the full amount for a minor follow up.

After about 6 months, the handle became difficult to shutoff again. I contacted Tim about fixing this issue as it obviously was not done adequately the first time. Tim indicated that he hurt himself and was not working at the moment, but would get back when he was better. Well, he never got back to me. I had to contact Paris again this summer and they indicated Tim no longer worked there but would send someone else out. This person Gene came out and cleaned out the part and applied some lubrication (another quick visit). Then they charged me a 3rd time for working on my shower controller. They said they only guarantee their work for 30 days. So I’m out over $600 for easy plumbing work that probably a handyman would have charged less than $100. Do NOT use Paris Plumbing unless you like to get ripped off from a company that does not stand behind their work.

We have used Paris Plumbing for years and we won't use anyone else! Everyone at the company is friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and professional. They perform their work quickly, cleanly, and with excellent quality. They also take the time to explain things - I learn something new every time! They are straight shooters and don't try to sell you a product or service you don't need. We trust them 100% and recommend them to our friends and family and anyone else who needs a great plumber!

Normally I'm satisfied with the type of service I receive from contractors and repair companies, but this one really takes the cake. The cold water line behind the refrigerator started leaking. A refrigerator repair person came out and told me that this was something he wasn't qualified to deal with since it was a plumbing problem.

I contacted Paris Plumbing and they sent out a repair person who saw that the valve's bolt was loose. He tightened it with a channel lock pliers. It took abourt 7 minutes. $285. And, he told me that he wasn't actually charging me for any service, that was just the fee to come out and take a look. No one at Paris Plumbing ever told me what their basic charge was, by the way.

Of course I'm kicking myself for not having dealt with it myself. Never the less, to charge that much money just to take a look at the problem takes a certain amount of nerve.

Don't use these people. They really don't deserve the business.

We have used a half dozen plumbing companies over the years and this was by far the most knowledgeable. Joey explained our options clearly and did a great job with the work. Highly recommend!

I had a handheld shower that was not working. I was told by Paris it was the mixer and also was upsold a heating device at the same time, even though I had no issues with my heat. $1000 later - they said they fixed my shower. The handheld shower worked for one shower and then stopped working again. Frustrated I took the handheld device down to Fergusons, where a very nice plumber who was buying parts told me to blow through the hose and it could be a simple fix or if that did not work, I may need a new handheld device. He blew through the hose and I got home and the device worked. I let Paris know about this and their response was that they would come back out and make sure it was working. An appointment was made and shortly before the time to come back out, they called and canceled and that is the last I heard from them. I compare this abysmal experience to another local company - Greenwood, the air condition maintenance that I had done around the same time- which was first rate. It is sad what happened to Paris Plumbing as I think they used to be family owned. Now, it is just for profit , lack of investigation of the true problem and upselling services with the bait of telling you it will be cheaper to do while they are here. Truly a shameful company.

I recently used Paris Plumbing at the referral of a trusted friend. We had noticed that our basement ceiling was filling with water and soon saw that something was leaking in the walls. We contacted Paris Plumbing and put me on a waitlist for cancellations as they were full at the moment. The next day, I was pleased to hear them call and say they could have somebody out that day since somebody had canceled. They were able to come out and quickly diagnose the problem and referred us to a drying company since the water damage was pretty extensive by that point. The next day the dryers came in and within a few days everything was dry and the leak was fixed. They were also able to talk through some insurance issues with us and gave us clear options to choose from. Would definitely recommend.

Just completed a very complex whole home repipe with the Paris team, and I can’t say enough great things. (Older copper piping that wasn’t installed correctly leading to micro leaks.)

This was likely one of their most challenging repipes, a four story home with a very complicated recirculating hot water system and boiler heat. The team took excellent care of my home, were upfront and easy to work with, provided a fair price (and stuck to it despite a few surprises along the way), and did a fantastic job. The project included extensive demolition and restoration of drywall (with level five finishes).

Tyler (the owner/manager) personally checked in on the job every few days and kept me informed. These are true professionals that provide terrific service, stick to their word, and can be trusted in your home. The Paris team worked in my home for several weeks unattended, and treated my home as if it were theirs.

The Paris team took on the role of a turnkey repipe,
coordinating with a general contractor to restore my home in better condition than when we started! This included packing and preserving my furniture and belongings, and ensuring no damage to anything inside the home. This project scope included three kitchens, four bathrooms, a laundry suite, and a commercial boiler. Definitely not something to be entrusted to anyone less than a very experienced professional.

The majority of plumbers I found were unable to provide this level of customized service given the circumstances of my home.

Our hot water heater went defective after a year, and Farris and Tyler at Paris Plumbing were amazing. Their pricing is the fairest and customer oriented in the local area hands down, and the professional and fast service with great communication is hard to find these days. When the Hot water manufacturer played hard ball, they fought for us and got the solution figured out. Highly recommend them!

Paris Plumbing was fantastic to work with. Farris came and was very diligent and thorough when it came to explaining and laying out the subtle nuances with everything as we had to get the water lines from the water main to our house replaced as well as a new water heater. It went smoothly and ended up exactly how we wanted. He also just went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. I would recommend these folks every single time if you had a plumbing issue as they are truly the best.

Shane is truly a saint. We had an absolutely horrific plumbing situation in our crawl space due to negligence by the previous owner. Shane went above and beyond to re-plumb our entire crawl space in very gross conditions (imagine the worst smell you can think of, then double it - that’s what Shane crawled through to fix our plumbing) at an incredibly reasonable price. This is not the first time we’ve worked with him and we keep coming back because he is always responsive, friendly, a pleasure to work with, and most importantly does impeccable work. Would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you, Shane!

Amazing. Busted pipe. Found the problem quickly and fixed it right away. Super nice guy. Explained everything as he went along. Highly recommend!.

Update 1: Shane was able to help me on the quick after a DIY mishap. He’s so great. Good communication, great work and so reasonable. Please call him!

Update 2: I would give 100 stars if I could. Shane and his team came to replace a water heater and install a toilet. Not only was the team super quick (like lighting quick!), knowledgeable about what they were doing and super nice and professional - but the whole thing was reasonably priced. They also noticed a defect in the water heater I purchased and offered to come back and swap it out with a new one once I get it. This team is great! I can’t even express how awesome Shane and his team are. Call them - you won’t be disappointed!

I spoke with Shane after a pipe burst in our house. He answered the call directly and was very personable and easy to work with. He worked on adjusting his schedule to find a way to come assist as quickly as possible, even as early as the same day.

Before we were able to schedule with Shane however, our landlords sent a different plumber to come out to help. Even though we didn't ultimately work with him, Shane's quality communication and flexibility made a lasting impression!

Shane was great to work with. We called him for a slow leak beneath our bathroom sink and he suggested replacing the valves. The next day, we found that there was still a bit of moisture under the sink, and he came back two more times to make sure that the work was done right. Would not hesitate to recommend him. Thanks, Shane!

Shane was very professional, courteous, and effective in fixing our clogged kitchen drain pipe. From the first call (randomly selected on web site), he was polite, helpful and came out the same day. He expertly diagnosed the problem and I watched as he went through the processes to fix the occluded drain. He was very respectful of our home and completely cleaned everything up before he left. He answered all my questions (many) and helped me understand what he was doing and why. I highly recommend him! Larry
