I received 6 other quotes mostly from the big guys. Just about all of them really only cared about selling extended warranties and service contracts. Valley Furnace was prompt, professional and honest. They know what they are doing and really presented best options and best equipment without over selling and over promising. Highly recommend, get a quote from them for sure!

My air-conditioning unit stopped working a couple of days ago and a friend of mine recommended valley furnace. They were able to fit me in right away and the tech that came out and was awesome. I have had maintenance on my AC unit prior and numerous times have been given high costs, and told things that didn’t need to be done. I’m always skeptical about services like this. He was straight up with me and we started with the lowest common denominator of cost to repair... which he felt was most likely the issue. So for under $150 I had my service and AC back in 30 minutes. I will be recommending them to anyone I know that need service. Hard to find honest companies these days and Valley is definitely one of those!

A professional team who knew their job, worked tirelessly, answered questions and cleaned up their work site every day. My furnace wasn’t working and I called valley this morning, they were able to fit me in today which was great because temps are freezing outside. The gentleman came and knew exactly what it was right away, fixed it quickly and I was just charged the minimum trip charge which is lower then all the places I called. Valley furnace came by initially for a quote on replacing my system.

Darryl was very up front about the cost, and recommended repair over full replacement as the unit was in good condition. I had previously recieved a quote from Pacific Heating and Cooling for repair, but he gave me a quote that blew the competitors price out of the water. He diagnosed and replaced two parts in my unit (previous part required by Pacific Heating and Cooling included) for substantially less than the competitors, and my HVAC unit runs perfect as promised.

These guys know what they are doing, have years of experience, and provided amazing quality service as a first time customer coming in. I would gladly hire them again for any future repair needs.

We used Valley Furnace to fix our very old heating system that had been original to our home. They came out and gave us several options for fixing the system and we decided to go with a new boiler. Throughout the entire process the staff was professional and personable! The work was completed on time and matched the estimated costs we were initially given. We are very happy we used Valley Furnace and would gladly recommend them to friends and family members!

I was experiencing issues with my furnace not turning on and off properly and called in a service request. Darrel arrived on time and patiently explained to me that it was a cleaning issue. I've never had an electronic filter before, but by the time he left, I felt I could confidently clean it myself. He charged me for routine maintenance and saved me a few bucks too! I'll happily call Valley Furnace again in the future if needed!

I have used Valley Furnace on two of my homes and the service was always excellent. First house I had a super old boiler system, and Daryl was able to diagnose what was going on and fix it in a timely matter and not charge me an arm and leg to do so!

My second house has a furnace and heat pump with glorious A/C. Daryl came out when I first moved in and checked things out and said everything looked good! He also mention to not let anyone tell me that my system needed to be replaced because of the brand or age, that it was working just fine.

Fast forward to now, when my A/C unit was having hard time keeping up. I called the office (they are all super friendly and helpful, by the way) they told me to change my filters first before sending someone out. How nice is that? They weren't just trying to make a quick buck off of me.

Well, changing the filters didn't work. So, Teresa called me back and had Daryl squeeze me in to take a look. He explained what he thought could be the problem and the different costs for each thing it could be, but decided to start with the least expensive thing first to see if that would fix it. I was already thinking what credit card I would need to use, lol.

But when we went back out to the heat pump the pressure had started to kick back up to where it needed to be. He added more coolant and what do you know, it started to work! What could have cost me 6k ended up only costing $700 because Daryl took the time to watch what the pump was doing and not just sell me a new part or a whole new system!

They are the best! The heating unit of my HVAC was not working. I called and they sent a technician out within a couple of days. He was so helpful, thoughtful, very knowledgeable, and thorough. I called Valley Furnace for routine maintenance on my oil burning Furnace. Darrell came out to perform the service. I'm glad he's still around! Very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my little questions. He showed me I should be running a larger nozzle for optimum efficiency. He also suggested some tips to help maintain my system. If your looking for an experienced, friendly efficient technician, look no further. Will definitely do business again in the future.

During power outages at the first winter storm of the year, the relay on the circuit board on our furnace went out intermittently failing. Valley Furnace was able to schedule us in a very reasonable time during this which we were grateful for. Daryl diagnosed the failure within minutes and got the unit to work while we waited for the part which made Thanksgiving more enjoyable. Part came in and was replaced a week later for a very reasonable and transparent price. Would highly recommend and will use their services in the future.

This was the first furnace I have ever had to get installed so I was careful and got about 6 different bids from companies all over the South King/Tacoma area. Valley Furnace was the best value for a quality American Standard furnace. We also wanted a high efficiency gas furnace and Valley Furnace made it hassle free by doing all the paperwork/application for the rebate themselves so we didn't have to worry about it. Valley Furnace is amazing!!!!! We were a victim of another company who over sold us a heat pump that killed our furnace and when it all broke they had already went out of business! This left us scrambling to find someone not only get to come fix the mess we were left in, but someone we could trust. Valley Furnace was extremely sympathetic to our situation and helped us figure out a way to make our situation work for as long as possible before ultimately having to replace the furnace. They have always been honest, quick to respond and just all out amazing to work with. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. We are thankful for our new relationship with such a wonderful company. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.
