Bob’s scope and proposal were superior to the competition and he was able to get to us scheduled immediately for a furnace upgrade. Moreover, his tech responded to an after-hours call back to address a minor issue when a switch needed adjusting to get the furnace back on, much appreciated when it’s February 😉

John was a huge help in figuring out why my furnace wasn’t working. He came the day that I called and even showed me how to fix my problem if it happened again in the middle of the night. Great service! I’ll be a repeat customer.

We have used Smith Heating & Cooling for 15+ years and could not be happier with their service. We just recently moved into a new home and was very unfamiliar with the furnace and had no idea the last time it was serviced. Talked to Kyle and he had an appointment set up within a day and around the time I was off work. Steve came out and was just wonderful. He explained the furnace system and central AC system and did all the maintenance within a timely matter. Thank you Steve for showing us the furnace and AC system and letting us look over your shoulder why you performed the maintenance. And thank you Kyle for the quick turn around time. You guys rock and we highly recommend you!

I got four quotes before choosing Smith. When preparing a quote, Bob Smith spotted an excellent route for the high-efficiency furnace exhaust ducts to travel out my half-basement---better than was noticed by two of the other three guys. Jim did a speedy, no-nonsense, professional job installing the Payne furnace and AC. Of course, the test of time is the real test, and results for that aren't in after just two weeks. But the 2-year labor/10-year parts warranties, and the pains Jim took to get things right, give me confidence.

i have-not had heat in our home for 7 days. so thankful that smith and heating came over today and installed a new system. took a few hours, but it was totally worth it, the house is finally cooling..

Would not use them again.I had them install a water heater for me. I had to set up the code inspection myself, and it violated code. They would not fix it. The plumbing lines they did to connect it leaked. They wouldn't fix that either. I placed a total of 10 calls to their office to resolve the issue; they returned my call twice and kept telling me that they would send a tech out. The tech never called to schedule, but showed up at my door unscheduled one day about two weeks after these calls and said he was sorry it had taken so long, he had been sick. By that point I had already called another company to fix the issues, which was another bill totaling $1,511.23. The owner, who did my bid, was nice and knowledgeable. His crew were nice but obviously lacked knowledge and skill, and the communication from their office was horrible. DO NOT USE!!!!

I've used Smith's several times now and they are an absolute pleasure to work with. They helped save me a ton of money and have been awesome in giving advice. For example, Jim and John took time out of their busy schedules and came by our house to help me ensure wiring was correct on a fix I was making. Can't recommend enough.

I do not recommend them. First of all, they would not provide a plan for the ductwork for my new house. They then did not follow basic HVAC standards ie put ducts at the end of the duct trunk, piled flex ducts on top of esch other like spaghetti thus, limiting airflow through the ducts, left gapping holes at all of the ductwork joints including the vents where you could see through the corners & sides into the crawl space, they cut corners, the filter housing looked like a diy disaster & had excessive airflow around the filter. Their work is sloppy & an embarrassment. I would not recommend them.

These guys killed it for me. I needed a motor and circuit board for my furnace and they hooked it up. Under promised and over delivered. I even had received a superceded part and thought it was wrong, the shop manager helped me and got me going straight. Thanks for all the help.

Smith did amazing work for me this week. Stipulations in a sale agreement for my home requires that I had my furnace and AC inspected and cleaned. I could not get anybody to do the work. One company said they were booked solid. Two companies didn’t even bother to call me back! When I spoke with Lisa at Smith, she was helpful, sympathetic, and willing to get me scheduled prior to my closing date. I had two technicians, Jon (AC) and Andrew (furnace). These guys were friendly, kind, and good communicators. One awesome aspect of the transaction is that I got text updates prior to their arrival, so I knew when to expect them. Jon got waylaid at the job before me and he was courteous enough to call and let me know. This is extraordinary customer service. Highly recommend!

My furnace had been having issues so I called Smith. They had a tech out the same day, found the issue, fixed it up and charged me a very reasonable amount. I will definitely call them again when I need a full furnace replacement. Highly recommend.

Installers were knowledgeable, explained the new system well, took time to answer my questions. It seemed like they were very thorough in installing the new furnace and heat pump well. I needed a new part that was not part of the installation, and they ordered and installed that before they left.
