Chase was our technician, and he was very professional as well as knowledgeable! We had our furnace serviced and he walked through everything with detailed explanation which I found very helpful. I would definitely request Chase in the future for any HVAC needs of ours, and recommend him to anyone looking for maintenance or repair work to be done!

The repairmen from Cougar Heating and Air were professional, polite and friendly in their work and interactions. They completed the installation of a new furnace as scheduled and each of the 3 men were respectful and thoughtful as they worked. I highly recommend Cougar Heating and Air and will use them again if needed.

Dillion came out to assess the furnace I purchased 9 months ago and was having a problem. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable. After a thoughtful discussion, he had Cougar set up an appointment to address the issues. I was very impressed with him and would use Cougar in the future.

Cougar installed a new furnace for us about a year ago, and my wife called them yesterday for an issue with noise while the unit was running. They had a tech out to us the next day, and he immediately found the issue and corrected it. The tech, Zane, went above and beyond by correcting another issue we didn't think could be fixed and hadn't asked for when scheduling the service, but we are beyond excited to have everything working better now than the day it was installed.

Overall, my experience with Cougar has been great across the board. Techs have always been professional and friendly, and the service has always been on time and exceeded our expectations.

Jake, the tech that came out was great. Professional but easygoing. It was like talking to a friend. He gave our furnace a tune up and cleaned up after himself. I even got a call a half hour before he arrived. Great service.

Thank you Cougar Heating for sending Zane over to our house. He came in and quickly determined what was wrong with our hvac system, proposed a solution, and got it repaired. He also reviewed, at our request, the old hot water tank we had. He offered multiple quotes one of which we accepted. They were back the very next day. Terrence and his assistant arrived with our new hot water tank and did a masterful job of removal of the old and installation of the new. All the techs showed great professionalism. We highly recommend them.

10/10 experience because my provider has expert industry knowledge and is a good guy!! He went through ALL the steps to get my heater running, an absolute must for Spokane Winter. A real blessing and peace of mind.

I recently had a new water heater installed. Lauden and Evan were professional and easy to work with. They did a great job and I'm very pleased with the work they did. They even swept the floor when they were done. I have recommended them to all my neighbors.

Zane performed the annual maintenance on our furnace. He was able to provide a quote on the fly for doing annual maintenance on our tankless water heater which he also completed during this appointment. Big time saver for me!

Zane also explained the outcomes of both services and what to keep an eye on. Great experience overall and I'd highly recommend Cougar for your HVAC and plumbing needs.

Chris and the team were great! As first time home buyers, I had a lot of questions upgrading to a heat pump. Chris answered all of my questions, explained troubleshooting and made me feel comfortable when I had to have things explained in more detail. I normally don't leave reviews, in fact this is my first but their work and kindness needed to be praised! Chase came out to my home to provide a quote estimate for an old ac freon and pump disposal. He came in on time as advertised, gave a few suggestions and pointers on my current heating/cooling situation, and advised on the best route to improve energy efficiency. Woke up on a Saturday morning with no no heat and two kids with cold feet! First time home owner with virtually no know-how to figure out what the heck happened.

Called Cougar and they had someone here within 2.5 hours. Very affordable fee ($79 on a weekend!) to come out and look, and everyone I spoke to was wicked nice. Thankfully, what happened was a quick fix, and they didn't charge for anything more! No pressure or nickle-and-dimeing.

Zane was the technician that came out, and not only was he incredibly professional and polite, he didn't seem to mind my very messy and cluttered house, haha! Thank goodness it was an easy fix, and Zane took the time to be thorough and double check things, and showed me what he did so I would know what to do next time. He was incredible!

Happy to be a customer, and will be a loyal one from now on! (Hopefully I won't need it again any time soon, but I know who to go to when I do!)

Don't use Cougar Heating, AC and Plumbing.
We had a large amount of water collecting around our furnace and called Cougar to diagnose the issue. The first technician charged us for a diagnosis but didn’t find the real cause — the water problem continued exactly the same after he left.

After I called to report that nothing had improved, Cougar sent another technician. While this second tech was investigating, he attempted to turn off a valve — and that’s when things went downhill. The valve immediately began gushing water, something it had not been doing before he touched it. He was unable to stop the flow, and now it was necessary to shut off the main water supply leaving us with no water.

Cougar then sent out their plumber, who told us we should consider replacing all the shut-off valves in the house. The plumber replaced one valve and a supply tube — but this repair only addressed the damage caused during their own service call. The total bill for that visit was $861.89, in addition to what we had already paid for the first (incorrect) HVAC diagnosis.

Even after paying nearly $1,000, we still had water around the furnace. Fortunately, a friend referred us to her brother-in law. who correctly diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly.

In our experience, Cougar misdiagnosed the problem, caused additional damage, and charged us for their mistake.

3. Invoice ..notice the invoice. HVAC Tech attempted to shut off angle stop this made the leak worse.

5. Where the leak was coming from and friend's brother-in-law located. He dug out around the vent pipe, sealed and fixed a crack in it then finished the job with foam. Water from sprinklers and rain was causing the problem.

Amazing! Thank you for the prompt courteous service!!! Our 20ft ceilings are a challenge with the smoke detector at the peak highest point, but was a breeze for Miguel and team! Thank you!!! Highly recommend Holiday Heating & Cooling!!

Joe at Holliday was GREAT. He is a detailed and careful communicator, explaining details to people who don’t know the lingo, and he was patient with us as we navigated different options and pricing. We’ll be sticking with Holliday for the future.

Anthony and his team did an incredible job. We needed our old AC and furnace replaced and they worked all day to ensure the new units were not only up and running correctly, but that the home was well equipped to handle them.
