I had requested a quote from another company and 3 weeks later still hadn’t heard anything. A customer had recently replaced her hot water heater and she was very happy with JLR. I called them and they personally answered the phone. I had a quote and appointment within 5 minutes. John came out and installed my hot water heater. He did the job quickly and neatly. I am so glad I called him. I am now enjoying a nice, warm shower!

Two one hour visits close to $900 (and we still need to repair the leak). Get a second opinion to check the price.

Our almost 20 year old water heater finally started giving out so I called John for a quote. He sent me a quote in the morning and came over the SAME day! John was super friendly and informative. Not to mention how the price was for the Bradford White water heater + installation. Excited to have hot showers again and would definitely recommend!

He did an excellent job. I called on a Sunday and left a message, not anticipating a call back until Monday. He communicated promptly on Sunday with pricing, availability and scheduling and came out the next day (which was helpful as I had water shutoff to the upper floor) and completed the work ahead of schedule. He communicated well through the process, was good to talk to and did great work — even cleaning up after himself. Pricing was very fair, especially considering the quick turnaround. I would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a competent plumber.

Quoting and payment processing was also smooth as it was all done electronically, making it easy to review and pay.

For reference, he swapped out a shower valve on CC for me and used pro press instead of sweating the CC.

Stephen was super helpful during his inspection, made recommendations, pointed out positives and negatives. Perfect.

5/5 Stars. Steve did a great job, and was very kind during the process or replacing our burst hose bib, which also ruined some drywall and soaked through a wall. . Sure the pricing is steep for plumbing, but I feel that I made a good decision going with JLR, and consider them a very helpful and honest business.

John promptly answered all my questions, provided a great price, and efficient replacement of two electric water heaters with electric hybrid water heaters. Both John and Steven know their stuff!

I was greeted with friendly service from the first call to the plummer who showed up on time and he did a fantastic job repairing a bathroom faucet and old pipes.

Very quick response time. Honest and better pricing than the larger companies . Will definitely be using them again.

Oh my! John saved the day! Over the holiday weekend I had a pinhole leak start from old galvanized piping above a very old water heater in an older home I purchased 2 years ago. He communicated with me quickly about what to do and came todsy and replaced piping and water heater, and taught me so much about this old house and planning its care for longevity moving forward. Thank you, John! I am so grateful!

Great experience with John.

We had a dishwasher break. A new one was delivered over the weekend and he showed up Monday morning first thing. After calling a couple places and getting no response, I can’t say how happy I was with his availability. He answered calls in person and responded to texts; was flexible with scheduling. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate being able to talk to a person and not a digital voice answering system.

Most importantly, the dishwasher is working perfectly. He put in a new outlet since the old one was “hard wired,” and the new one needed to be plugged in. The dimensions were super tight but he made it work without any damage to the surrounding area.

While this may be a legitimate business model, it’s worth noting that requests for payment before services are rendered can sometimes mirror how less trustworthy operations behave. It’s always a good idea to double-check company practices and confirm details directly before sending payment.

I just had my water heater replaced by John Ripley and he was AMAZING got it all taken care of for a reasonable price, He made sure everything was up and running! I will definitely be calling him whenever I need something fixed or replaced. Just got some life time customers. Thanks again for being Awesome, friendly and knowledgeable and getting it done in the same day, I am beyond grateful to have hot water again!!

I had a very positive experience with JLR Plumbing. The bid was appropriate, the scheduler worked around my needs. Steven was the installer, he was on time, professional , very knowledgeable and precise. He took the time to explain everything that was going on with the installation. He was much appreciated, highly recommended.

JLR was quick (tank was installed less than 24 hours after I called) and efficient. Stephen, the installer, was careful, friendly and did a quality job. Additionally, even though their price was very competitive, they installed a top-quality tank (Bradford White). Highly recommend and would happily use them again.

Excellent service. John has extensive knowledge with water heaters and specifically with on-demand water heaters. He gave us an excellent bid to replace our current water heater with a new Rinnai. He showed up as scheduled and completed the work in just 3 hours. His workmanship was excellent and the result was what we had anticipated. Highly recommend for whatever your plumbing needs might be.
