Water Damage Restoration reviews in Vancouver, Washington

Robinson Restoration did a fine job with the actual work (water heater created water damage in the basement), but the way their billing department handled things was awful. The home insurance company was already processing the payment, yet Robinson Restoration's team was extremely aggressive about collecting. Instead of showing patience or professionalism, the billing staff was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable.

What's worse, they even threatened to put a lien on the home while the payment was still being worked out with insurance. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and turned an already stressful situation into something much worse.

Because of their unprofessional and hostile billing practices, we would never use Robinson Restoration again and cannot recommend them to others.

Robinson restoration was very professional and responsive. After the deep freeze we had back in January 2024, a pipe burst and our garage was flooded. They helped us organize exactly what we needed to do. Helped us get a plumber out quickly, set us up with a moving sevice to empty the garage out, made appropriate documentation and took pictures for our Insurance company, pulled out wet dry wall and insulation and set up heaters and fans. They were aeasily avaliable when we had questions. Sierra was always able to put my mind at ease. If you ever need their services, I highly recommend them.

Christian arrived on time and inspected our basement carpet for mold. He told us how to treat the carpet pad to inhibit mold growth and left us a spray bottle of anti microbial spray for the job. I would not hesitate to use Robinson again, and Christian is a gem.

Would highly recommend - workers were professional and took great care of our belongings. Final work was beyond expectations. They even took care of all the insurance and coordination with the plumbers for us.

Aldo Garcia and his supporting crew did amazing job of fixing and drying out our water leak. They were efficient, always on time and very courteous and thoughtful. Thanks again!

Kyle and Daniel provided service that was far above my expectations. They addressed the water in my crawlspace immediately and resolved my stressful situation in an extremely efficient and professional manner. I couldn't be happier with the way they resolved my issue.

The entire Robinson's team, including Fabian, Christian, Juan, John, Jr., and were very professional, and friendly, and went above and beyond in resolving my kitchen moisture and mold issues.

Great experience with Fabian at Robinson Restoration. He came out to give us a quote for a new leak in the master. He ended up saving us a large plumbing bill by identifying the source of the problem. Also discussed other services the company provides. We will call Robinson back if needed in the future.

These guys were amazing! Came out within 90 minutes to do a free assessment. Kyle did a great job figuring out what was wrong and was very kind. Would definitely hire again.

Home damage is never enjoyable or pleasant. That being said James and his crew with Robinson Restoration took excellent care of our home and expedited the mediation part of our claim as quickly as they could.

John and Jr. came to help us clean up some pest debris in the ceiling in the basement. They are professional and friendly. The space is sealed off for a few days for everything to dry out. Highly recommend!

Fabian was our estimator and he was so kind and informative. He gave us a fair price for the amount of work that was done. We had water sitting in our crawl space due to a leaking pipe, which they mitigated so that plumbers could come in, and then came back and installed full vapor barrier under the house. Thomas, Erwin, and Juan did the project and did a wonderful job while also being very polite. We appreciate Robinson Restoration!

Thank you to jose and Ivan for doing a good job with handling the mold issue i had in my house. They were very professional and thorough to make sure they got it all as best as they could. Thank you guys and thank you Robinson restoration.

It's Day 9 after the January 14, 2024 PNW/Portland Ice Storm.

It was a dark and ice stormy night. Around 10PM, after I had gotten back home from my 2nd job and was finally falling asleep, I suddenly started hearing water. It wasn't raining, so what was it? It sounded like Multnomah Falls, but the sound was coming from inside the apartment. I ran to the bathroom to face my worst phobia! There it was! A burst pipe and water, it was all flooding the entire bathroom. It was flowing from the ceiling, the walls, it was everywhere. Just a pool of water on the ground in inches of icy water that was creeping it's way towards the carpeting in the hallway and bedroom. It kept flowing through the shower wall that is adjacent to my workstation for my wfh laptop and monitors. I mean I was right in the middle of my worst nightmare.

Everything was soaking wet and it's all happening the Sunday evening right before a National Monday Holiday and prior to another icy week ahead.

I woke up My property manager and she was just as frantic, calling all her contacts for plumbing and water restoration vendors. But like I said, we were all in the middle of a nasty ice storm on a Sunday night. It was past midnight and I was feeling helpless and hopeless. I was exhausted from trying to drain out the water with towels and buckets. I was very busy trying to dig through the ice and snow covered ground to find the water main outside and running back inside to try to drain the water. It was an endless struggle.
I tried my best to shut it off (the water main), but the water was still flowing and I couldn't find it.
Jake (From Robinson Restoration) drove through that ice storm from Vancouver, WA. HE SHOWED UP! I couldn't believe it. He helped me as much as he could and even told me to call 911. I asked the Firefighters apologetically after they got to my apartment if my calling 911 is even considered an emergency and they verified that it was, because something like this falls in the category of protection of property.

So with Jake's and the fire department's help, we were able to somewhat shut down the water, (a little) but it was still flowing.
Jake's associate, Mikah (sorry for the spelling)...HE EVEN SHOWED UP! 🙌 I honestly couldn't believe it. So the both of them began to vacuum the floor with a shop vac to clear up the water. They both investigated humidity and collected samples. Then they brought in their dehumidifier. It's been on and running since last Sunday and it's Monday, Jan 22nd, 2024 as I'm writing this. Tomorrow will be day 10 as Portland heads into Tuesday morning. We're all getting through it.

My electric bill is going to be insane, but it is what it is at this point. I was very fortunate to have Robinson Restoration show up and literally to work immediately. They were incredible, professional, very nice even at the most horrible hours in the night. I have asthma and had to go to urgent care after all this. The dehumidifier is still working and there's still water being pumped out of the hose. I'm concerned about mold among other things, but the dehumidifier gives me some comfort knowing that it is still pumping out humidity from all the saturation.

I can't thank the both of them enough for showing up in the middle of the night. We all got wet from that icy water and did whatever we could. The plumber was not able to come until the next day. He was able to locate the water main and completely shut it off to make some necessary repairs.

Jake and Mikah, Thank you sooooo much for helping me face my worst phobia and help me get through it. You two were my heroes that night.

Called Robinson Restoration, we had Alex Ocegueda come out to look at the situation. What we have been lead to believe what was causing our situation, that wasn’t it. Our garage plywood decking is wet because of all the rain. In other words it’s leaking. Alex had the right tools and knew what to do. We appreciate him confirming what we believe has been happening since the new roof was put on in July of 2024. We look forward to continuing to work with Alex while we get this issue resolved.

We had flooding in our crawl space in December. Right before Christmas. They came right out. James was our project manager. He kept in touch regularly, checked on the progress of the pump, and organized the crew efficiently. Our technician Anthony was knowledgeable, considerate and helped to keep us informed. When our insurance denied the claim, Angelica and Alex in accounting we're absolutely wonderful to work with. They were patient while we hired a lawyer to help settle the claim with the insurance. The entire crew worked to see we got our heat & water back quickly. The accounting department helped us so much with all the worry associated with owing money on a big project like this. I hope we don't have a problem in the future, but if we did we would call them again. Five star service and five-star human beings.

We had a really unfortunate flood at our newly renovated home. Robinson Restoration has been incredibly helpful during the whole process. There's been some extra challenging portions on the administrative side, and Sierra has not only been helpful, but kind, compassionate, and has gone above and beyond to help us.

I have never had a company do exactly as they said. Work was performed to I would say EXCELLENT standards. They were “ Johnny on the spot”. All worker were respectful, and very deliberate in their care as they worked. Two thumbs up, and five star service. Dawson is worth his weight in Gold. You cannot go wrong with this company.

I'm extremely happy with the work that was done under my families house☆ There was a pond under my home, where no pond should be... Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable. I appreciate that he kept me in the loop every step of the way☆

Money aside (I fear insurance, but I was assured they'll do all they can to fight for us to get what's needed done covered) they did an excellent job. I had a pond I didn't want. Now the pond is gone, & the space is clear for the plumber to do his thing☆

We had an issue with our crawl space and called Robinson Restoration. They sent a great guy, Christian, who came right on time and gave us a thorough estimate, explaining everything that they would need to do. He was very professional, clean and he clearly knew what he was doing. Great experience.
