The sticky, increasingly difficult to adjust handle on my kitchen faucet started to drive me nuts. I called Monona Plumbing: a tech came and fixed the faucet quickly and effectively, and provided helpful advice on water filter systems while he was there. I always have a good experience with them - things get fixed, and it doesn't cost the moon.

The team at Monona Plumbing & Fire do a wonderful job for our commercial office building. Fast, courteous, keep us informed and knowledgeable. Our Fire sprinkler system and plumbing needs are in good hands.

We used Monona Plumbing and Fire Protection to have a brand new gas Water Heater installed in our home. Everyone I spoke to on the phone before having it installed was very kind and helpful on the phone. Our old one was over 25 years old. Logan Knuteson came to install it, and he did a fantastic job of installation. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and I will definitely use them again.

I looked into a couple other plumbers during a recent upgrade for my kitchen (faucet, disposal, filter, dishwasher, and plumbing for new sink). I very much appreciated the friendly, professional service from MPFP. From getting an estimate to the final installation, they were always responsive and knowledgable. The installer went above and beyond in getting a proper fit for my dishwasher under a new countertop, which would have cost me hours and $$ to have done otherwise. Thank you so much to the team at MPFP. I have already, and will continue, to recommend you to others, and will certainly be back for any future plumbing needs.

Used Monona Plumbing for years. They are courteous, professional, competant and reasonably price. I will never forget reaching their emergency number on New Year's morning with a broken valve sparying water all of the place. They arrived and repaired it promptly.

Attempted to replace garbage disposal on my own and ran into problems with 75 year old plumbing. Called for service at 4:PM. Had a plumber on my doorstep the next morning. He had the equipment and parts on the truck to replace and adapt old to new.
Repaired in record time. Very pleased with the work and ability.

I have used Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection on two occasions and both times they were prompt and knowledgeable when addressing our issues. One time involved servicing a tankless water heater and did a fine job. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing problem someone would have.

Their team was great from start to finish. We needed the sewer line replaced that ran under the basement floor from one side of the house to the other side. Rick made some suggestions to move a vertical stack against an outside wall instead of in the middle of a walkway. A huge improvement. Also they added the plumbing to add a basement toilet while the flooring was opened up to replace the sewer line. They were in and out in less than two days. Very happy with the project.

I would give 10 stars! Kevin from Monona Plumbing installed new shower/bathtub fixtures for us. The fixtures we bought were not a fit so Kevin explained what options he could provide and discussed cost-saving options that would also fit my time-frame. He was so professional and helpful - above and beyond what we have come to expect from trade professionals. The completed work was beautiful! I can confidently recommend Monona Plumbing - and ask for Kevin!!

Monona Plumbing was very prompt and thorough. Very helpful and knowledgeable team members and a great team leader came to install a new septic lift system for my home. The pumps we needed for the system were very scarce but Randy Mergen (team leader) worked very hard to source them and found them on the East Coast! They were prepped, shipped and delivered within a week. The new system works great. It was a job well done.

Although the plumber was nice, if you’re looking for a plumbing company that communicates clearly, bills promptly, and treats customers with professionalism, Monona Plumbing is not it.

I had a plumber out for what ended up being a relatively minor service. Over a month later—without any prior follow-up or closure—I received a surprise invoice with what appeared initially to be vague line items and no explanation of the delayed invoice. I asked for clarification, not to be difficult, and even explained that I was happy to pay it if we were not settled up, but simply because the invoice was so delayed I didn’t recall what the charges were for.

When I contested the high charge for the plumber ultimately turning my main water valve on and off, instead of receiving a professional, courteous explanation, I got a condescending response claiming they’d done me a favor by alerting me to mold that they found and that they took so long to bill me because they were “waiting for me” to continue service—despite never calling to follow up or confirm that I was ready. If they had, they would have learned that the mold resulted in half my kitchen being torn apart and I was not yet ready for a plumber again. They also inaccurately claimed we spoke on the phone about the invoice before it was sent—this never happened.

I paid the invoice to be done with it, but the experience was frustrating enough that I won’t be using them again, especially not in my home. Due to their poor professionalism and snarky attitude with a paying customer, whom they were asking for $260, they’ll be missing out on a multiple thousand dollar project in the future for my kitchen. If you value transparency and accountability, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Really glad I've found Monona Plumbing & Fire. Have used them twice now. They schedule quickly, and pricing is transparent and reasonable. Plumbers take the time to explain the project, and are friendly and experienced. Will use them moving forward.

I have used Monona Plumbing in the past with great success. Technicians and service have always been great. I did have one issue where I called to have a leaking pipe replaced. The technician repaired the leak by splicing out the bad section of horizontal galvanized pipe. Unfortunately, 3 months later the pipe began to leak again. The leak was not in same place as the previous leak. Another service call resulted in them removing most of the galvanized pipe. Each time required a drywall repair call to fix the ceiling where the repair was made. I feel that the entire section of galvanized pipe should have been removed the first time because if it was leaking in one spot it was just a matter of time before it would leak in another as is the case with most older galvanized pipes. I was disappointed in speaking to management that they were not willing to make any concessions on the second repair as I feel the entire pipe should have been replaced the first time. I understand you cannot anticipate when and where another leak could happen but knowing the repair was needed on a galvanized pipe, the entire section should have been replaced the first time. Now I’m stuck with two plumbing bills and two drywall bills. I really hope this is a one off with Monona as I have used them over a dozen times on my rental properties but was hoping for a better resolution to my plumbing issue.

I had a very disappointing customer service experience. The representative I spoke with was quite rude and responded with a dismissive attitude when I explained that my landlord would be making the payment. I would not recommend their services, as they are slow to respond to emergencies and did not handle my concerns professionally.

The Monona plumbing team did a great job doing the service I needed. There was a fire safety system involved and they did a great job explaining the work too.

This company is the best of the best. When I lived in another city that was 30 minutes away, these guys were kind enough to come out for a middle-of-the-night emergency phone call. They couldn’t have been more professional and caring! The best!

Monona Plumbing has been my go-to for several years now. They have never let me down! I have called them for my workplace and my home for various issues (clogged drains, drain cleaning, leaking sinks, and they even removed a grease trap and installed a new one at my work). Everyone that I have worked with at Monona Plumbing has been wonderful. I highly recommend them!

Excellent service! Called Monona Plumbing at 10:00 A.M. and by 2:15 work was completed. Attempted to repair old faucet, ordered and installed new faucet.

We had sewer gas leaks in vent system.
Evan from the Monroe location found the problem and replaced needed pipes. His work is outstanding, Evan was very customer oriented, he found the problem and solved with efficiency and quality work. We can't say enough good things to describe the timely and professional work that he and Monona Plumbing did to resolve our issues. The subcontractor that did the drywall and patching was also outstanding, Miyolo was there immediately working with Evan to complete the project.
