Called them after getting no response from multiple other plumbers in my area and a rude rep at roto rooter and I couldn't be happier. My tech Aaron Makos was incredibly professional and helpful resolved my issues and made recommendations to help save me headaches down the line. I only wish every company had this level of customer service.

They were able to come out same day as call. Our water heater kept needing to be reset. We had isolated it to a vapor sensor issue (thanks YouTube). However it took 2 trips for technicians to replace a $28.00 vapor sensor part on water heater. Total invoice was $547.95 - WOW!

Monona Plumbing was so quick to respond and very helpful with my drain was clogged, they were ready to send someone the following day. I will recommend them definitely for the future.

As a business we have worked with Randy Mergen for many years and in my experience he is one of the best estimators and project managers I've worked with. Overall a great company that produces high quality results at a fair price.

Monona Plumbing is my property's provider for all of my plumbing needs. They have been respectful, as prompt as possible with emergencies, repairs, and replacements. They have helped us to resolve several issues that have occurred onsite to keep us in tip top shape. I have been happy using them as my vendor and highly recommend their services.

I’ve had these guys out multiple times and they’re really nice and have answered the same handful of questions three times over. About half a year into the fixes and installations they’ve done and there’s no problems.

I’ve hired Monona Plumbing since 2019. Their team is so competent with remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, hot water heaters , water softeners, exterior hose bibs . Trustworthy and reliable .

I had an emergency water leak in my main water line below the shut off valve to the house. The Madison Water Utility failed to shut off the water to the house completely despite sending two different people out to my house. Water continued to leak causing wet pipe. The first plumber I called could not deal with wet pipe and recommended Monona Plumbing. Monona came immediately and was able to deal with the wet pipe and fix the leak. I paid what seemed like a lot of money for this service but it was done quickly under emergency conditions when another plumber was unable to help.

We had leaky pipes. They installed all new water lines. Did a great job. Only took 2 days. They explained every they did. Took all old pipe and cleaned up. Its been a few years since the work was done and problems.

I’m trying to call about a bill that I’ve been sent for $1657 is not mine and I’ve been treated horribly for trying to help you get the bill sent to the correct place. I offered to show the invoice of the bill that I’ve paid to the company that scheduled and authorize the work by Monona plumbing and the guy didn’t have the time of day to even listen. The company that owes for the money is an established company and good for their money. I’ve called three times and all three times I’ve been hung up or transferred and hung up on. I also called three months ago when the initial bill was sent to me and updated the problem and thought it was resolved. I then three months later got account is past due. Bill sent to me again. This review is to Madison Branch accounting that I spoke to

MPFP has done a great job for many people. But from my point of view they broke my hot water system and never made good on it. I'm disappointed to have to write this review. I never write reviews and I'm not a complainer generally.

In October '23 MPFP replaced my Rinnai hot water heater with the exact same model, just new. The old Rinnai operated together with a 50 gallon tank and the hot water flowed like a river. The old Rinnai started making noise so I hired MPFP to replace it. I expected the system to work the same, and still flow like a river but with a new Rinnai.

After MPFP installed the new Rinnai, using a different piping configuration I did not expect or request, the hot water flow dropped substantially, more than 50%. It's OK for one person at home but it's not enough for multiple showers and laundry/dishes the way it was before. From my point of view MPFP broke my hot water system.

I brought it to MPFP's attention immediately but they never made good on it. I worked with them over the next 8 months and MPFP gave me a proposal for another $3000 to get back to the system I used to have.

I gave up on them after they didn't followup on the job after we met at my home at the end of July 2024. They knew how to get ahold of me, I think they just didn't want to deal with the mess they made.

(FURTHER REVIEW AFTER MP'S REPLY - I HIRED MP TO REPLACE THE EXACT SAME MAKE AND MODEL HEATER. I DID NOT SPECIFY ANYTHING BUT THAT. THEY ADVERTISE THEMSELVES AS RINNAI EXPERTS AND SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THE FLOW RATE WOULD BE LOWER EVEN WITH THE SAME EXACT SAME MODEL RINNAI HEATER. BLAME THE CUSTOMER IS EASIER THAN TAKING RESPONSIBILITY, I GUESS.)

The representative was helpful, polite, and knew what he was doing. He answered all my questions in manner I could easily understand. Overall, it was a lovely experience, except for having to purchase a new water heater ($$), but that was easy, too!

Monona Plumbing did an excellent job with the work needed for our bathroom remodel, including relocating plumbing lines and installing fixtures. They were always available when we needed to schedule them during the remodeling process. Professional work on their part. Highly recommended!

Brian and Luke are great! Good people you trust in your home and they do excellent work. Have had them out for an emergency late night as well as scheduled appointments and would definitely recommend Monona Plumbing.

We needed a toilet replaced and some work on our water softener. These ended up getting done in two separate visits. Both plumbers were polite and on-time. The one working on our water softener took time to explain the work and give me some tips about using the water softener. They wore shoe covers and were nice to our cat :-)
