I had another great experience with Advid plumbing. Easy to set up an appointment, very knowledgeable when it came to home warranties, installing my new kitchen sink and even did a little extra, made sure my kiddos would be safe and made sure the hot water was harder for then to turn on, but it's easy to turn on for adults :-) very thoughtful and very helpful! Wow, great work by the Avid plumbers . Other plumbers quoted high and their approach is to cut 20feet length drywall in basement for natural gas installation. But these people did by simply put hole in drywall 4*4 inch hole and completed the installation. I am fully satisfied with the work.

Good service. got an estimate based on pictures I sent for replacing a shower tub trap in 100 year-old house. The job was performed at the Price agreed to,and I appreciated the flat rate price. The plumbers were very knowledgeable and pleasant.

I had Avid come to help me to bypass my water softener that was leaking. They got me in the morning after I called and did a great job. I googled plumber near Middleton and Avid Plumbing was the first that popped up. They weren’t the first I called however. After calling around to numerous plumbers, no one could get to my salon in the timeframe that avid plumbing could. They were so professional on the phone and helpful, they were able to get me on there route within 12 hours. Their system of scheduling, invoicing and repair is so smooth. They send you photos if you aren’t on site to show you the completed work. I would highly recommend them for residential and commercial in the Madison and surrounding areas.

I am a Contractor in Madison that often does bathroom remodel work. I am not allowed to do most plumbing besides replacing existing fixtures. I always call Avid Plumbing when I need someone to do the work for me. They are responsive, friendly, and always have done great work at a fair price. They also pull permits when needed, even on short notice.

Clean, neat, prompt, thorough. They arrived on Wednesday to assess the problem. The “Johnny Pot” toilet was manufactured in 1932 and installed in 1942. There were no parts available and my insurance issued a total replacement less my deductible. Avid returned Friday, on time, and less than three hours later they had finished installing a new Toto toilet. More than two thirds of the time was removing the old toilet and chiseling out the old motar used to seat the bowl.
If there were more stars available, I would use them.

We had Avid out for a small job a couple of months ago, and a big job today. Both times they responded quickly to our inquiries, had appointments available with very little wait time. As I work odd hours, I especially appreciated that they were responsive to scheduling via email, so I didn't have to make phone calls during their business hours.

I recently had a water heater replaced by Avid. The informational process was handled well upfront by Hannah and Brian along with an emailed quote. The price was a couple hundred dollars less than competition. The installers, Mike and Jayden, arrived on time and completed the installation within 2 hours. They were polite and got the job completed without any issues. Kudos to Avid for a job well-done! This was my first experience with Avid and I'll be sure to contact them for any future needs.

Avid Plumbing deserves every bit of this 5-star review. I’m a salon owner, and our water heater completely failed in the middle of a busy workday with over 10 stylists fully booked — it was incredibly stressful. Avid was able to arrive the same day, quickly diagnose the problem, and clearly walk me through all of my options. The owner took extra time — even after hours — to explain how everything worked and answer every question I had without rushing me.

They understood the urgency of our situation and had the needed parts ready and installed first thing the next morning. Colton, who handled most of the service, was professional, courteous, and easy to talk to. He explained things in a way that wasn’t intimidating, especially since I don’t have much plumbing knowledge.

In less than 24 hours, we went from having no hot water to being fully operational again. Their responsiveness, communication, and professionalism were outstanding. I highly recommend Avid Plumbing.

Excellent work all around. From calling and speaking with Brian who was patient, helpful, and knowledgeable to Andrew our plumber and his assistant installing our water heater. Service was timely and price reasonable. Andrew also looked at a couple other small issues we had while he was here. He was very professional, efficient and kind! Will definitely be using Avid again and highly recommend!

Got a couple emailed quotes for a new water heater, the Avid quote was much lower than the other for the exact same brand and size compared to another company. Bill matched the quoted price.
A couple guys came and got it installed in about 2 hours. Friendly and good service. Will definitely use Avid again for future plumbing needs.

Eric was so professional, was able to find some hidden problems, and everything was at a price that didn't break the bank. Everyone at Avid has been very kind and detailed when conducting their work and showing me exactly what they were fixing and provided clear, next steps for me.

We required original pipes to be replaced in our home from the kitchen sink to a drain located under the basement floor (concrete). Avid was quick to respond and offer us options. They were patient while we shopped around and looked at potential remodel options. In the end, we only repaired what needed to be done. They honored the quote that was 2-3 months old by that point and coordinated repairs quickly. Finished everything in less than two days and left the area cleaner than before they arrived. Highly recommend.

We had two water heaters age out - mine and my son's. His decided to leak on Xmas. Pertzborn was prompt in helping him out even on the holiday. Advice on how to proceed with both was professional and reasonable. Senior service attendant was polite and skilled. Price tag was reasonable. We shall call them again should our plumbing or heating be "in need". No need to look further.

The plumber arrived on time and was very courteous. He tested all fixtures thoroughly and, though unable to determine the cause of the moisture on the first floor, successfully and confidently ruled out the cause as any plumbing fixtures. I have used Pertzborn through the last 10+ years for various plumbing needs. The plumbers are always very neat, thorough and professional, though somewhat more expensive than other plumbers. But, if you want it done right and with no muss or fuss, these are the guys to call!

In July 2024, my wife and I had an excellent experience with H.J. Pertzborn Plumbing. Matt Chitwood, the plumber who came to our house, installed two Kohler toilets we bought at Home Depot. Part way through the first installation, Matt discovered the toilet had a severe crack, made at the factory. He took it back to Home Depot and arranged for delivery of a free replacement. His work was outstanding in every respect. He also was courteous and kind to us.

Shaun came and replaced our toilet last month. He also looked at another toilet that was having issues. Wow. What a kind, hard-working, knowledgeable and professional guy. Our whole experience with H.J. Pertzborn Plumbing was impressive. They are a class act and they know their stuff.
