I've had them do a projects at my house. They are worth it. They're on time on budget-friendly to work with

I’ve had this outfit come out many times now and I’ve always been thoroughly satisfied. Isaac specifically, who has come out multiple times, has always been very attentive and detail-oriented. Will continue to call on them for all plumbing and heating needs.

These guys want 100% payment of estimate before even stepping into your home. For me it was 2500 dollars. Like... what? I understand the deposit, but 50% down is more than enough to let both parties feel assured. A lot of time wasted on questions and an estimate before I found this out. I'm going to use another service.

Fraudulent charges for work done recklessly and improperly. Stay away. Absolutely reckless and totally incompetent . Not sure how they have any good reviews. They came to my house and couldn’t open a valve so they admittedly broke it and left. Charged $900. I realized the wall behind the tub was filling up with water when we turn on the faucet and the tech came back out. Told us he did in fact break the valve because he couldn’t figure out how to carefully open it, he wanted to charge us to fix the issue he caused. Then he said he didn’t have time and left. Been on hold waiting for the manager to call us back to fix it or refund us. Stay away. We will be reporting you for taking advantage of elderly and fraudulently charging for work which was done improperly.
Drunken slurring words service manager Brian left a voicemail telling us the work they did was a “bandaid” fix and he seemed to barely know what was going on. I could barely make out what he was saying and I couldn’t call him back because he called from. We looked through the contract and it states the work is complete, guaranteed and done properly. They lied.
An unknown number. Please save yourself a massive headache and stay away. -
Highly recommend this company! Isaac showed up right on time. He was very quick to discover what the issue was with our heater. He gave us an estimate of the time it would take and the costs. He finished in a very timely manner and gave us recommendations for the future. Would definitely hire him again!

Asked for them to look at my leaking water heater- turns out it needs to be replaced. So I bought a new one myself and try to schedule an installation. They quote me two grand. I ask why, they say that's the price of a new heater. I say I don't need a new heater, I bought one myself. Finally I'm scheduled. Except the day rolls around and they didn't actually schedule me in. So I call them and whoever was working the desk sounds 100% stoned, still asking for over two thousand dollars. I remind him I'm only scheduled for install, not purchasing a new heater. Their new quote that they keep giving me is not registering in their system. And no one calls to inform you of a new quote, or to confirm your appointment.
I'm sure if they ever actually installed the heater, it would work quite lovely. But you need to be able to get someone out to your house in the first place for that to work. I'm fed up and cannot recommend their services. -

Our house's boiler was courteous enough to fail in summer. Since my prior HVAC guy had retired, I needed a new one.
I called Anchorage Plumbing and Heating based mostly on their shop being nearby. I was told they'd arrive late that afternoon and to expect the emergency labor rate of $240/hr.
Everett was at my home in about four hours. He quickly diagnosed a faulty expansion tank and valve and replaced both with new parts from his van. He also performed routine maintenance and said my older boiler probably wouldn't need service again for a couple years.
Everett worked for over an hour but only charged me $160 for labor plus $200 for parts. I was really pleased with his professionalism and the final cost.
Anchorage Plumbing & Heating gained a repeat customer in me. -
First time we used their service was for a simple issue, a zone valve replacement, which went well and we had no complaints.
Second time, we lost running water to our house. They quickly sent someone out for diagnostics and charged us, ultimately stating that our well pump was not working and recommended a well company. That evaluation cost a few hundred dollars as I recall. I told them that our well was new and two years old.
When I told a friend, a retired plumber, he said that he wanted to look at my set up. He very quickly proved them to be wrong by draining water from the water tank and proving that it refilled from the well pump. Within 20 minutes, he found out that our metal filtration device was clogged. We removed that and water flowed perfectly to the house.
I called Anchorage Plumbing and Heating and they were apologetic and actually gave us a partial credit towards the installation of a new water device. We chose the Pentair Pentek Big Blue Filter. They installed it horizontally and told me to prop it up with a 2x2, as shown in my picture. I noticed that whenever I replaced the filter, the O-ring never seemed to fit. When I asked my friend, he said it was the wrong O-ring size and also said that it was installed incorrectly in a horizontal orientation. I brought the O-ring to Alaska Pure Water who confirmed that the O-ring was not the correct size, hence my battles with leaking, and that it had been installed incorrectly and that it was actually not functional in the horizontal orientation. They informed us that our water has not been correctly filtered as a result for the last 1-2 years.
My friend helped me fix their installation and I bought a new O-ring that fits, and everything works fine now. -
Way overbid for four hours of work. Work was completed in an about an hour and the guy ended up damaging some of my tenant's art. When I called to complain I was accused of lying and nothing was offered in the way of an apology or compensation.

My uncle Everett is the best plummer in america (north, middle, and south😛) ! He can fix anything I definitely recommend 😎

I called this company for a plumbing issue after hours. A man picked up, I asked for service, he said they don’t do plumbing, I asked for clarification and he said “doesn’t matter” and hung up. I expect to be treated at minimum with a basic level of respect when I’m asking to do business with a company. I guess this company thinks they walk on water. Look elsewhere for your plumbing needs.

I had a water heater installed over a year ago and noticed the draining Spicket was blocked by the gas piping slightly and even though it was over a year past the install, they came out and fixed it for free.

Little to no expertise to be found here, customer service is beyond terrible, no communication between technicians and scheduler. For example:
- Broke the valve on our water main on a Friday afternoon, walked off the job and said "not my problem".
- It took three technicians to diagnose a heating issue. All three diagnosed different problems and proposed different solutions, including an $8,000 boiler rebuild. Turns out it was a faulty thermostat that was replaced (by me) for $60.
- Cancelled on the day of an appointment for a toilet install because they assumed our pipes were lead-oakum. When I told them that the pipes were copper Chris told me to "never call here again."
You got it Chris! -
AJ was a wonderful technician that answered our emergency heating call. He took his time investigating the problem and found an additional culprit that was stopping one of the zones heating. In these negative temps, he did a great job getting our heat back on.

Walk don't run. I have never dealt with a more terrible technician and owner of any company. Technician lied about taking picture before he started. Said he cleaned things I cleaned last week. I knew more about my furnace than the technician they sent out. Basic information. He put a tube back on wrong. He didn't know why a TACO pump was white instead of red. I told him and called him on it. He tried to show me pictures he said he took but they were from the guy before after saying he took pictures when he got there. He lied. I told him someone from his office was going to talk to me before leaving. Supposed Owner hung up on me. Police got called. It was ugly. Supposed owner came to my street but would not talk to me while the police were standing right there. Ask yourself why?

Gio was great. We are having to handle a plumbing problem from out of state. He came out to do a big job and discovered that what we had originally thought needed to be done was really not the way to go. He was honest and really tried to save us money. He found and fixed the problem and did it in a timely manner. Nice guy, knowledgeable and trustworthy from what I could tell, dealing with him over the phone.

While the first technician that came to our house prior to this appointment was on time, kind, and courteous, the staff that were here today were late without reaching out with a heads up, kept their boots on with no coverings, left soldering mess around (is it not normal to clean this up??) and left our closet crawl space open, which our cats escaped into. The combination of all of these make me not want to utilize them again - also the cost ended up being astronomical. Not a great experience.

My boiler was leaking a lot more than it usually did on a Friday evening. I called several companies and Keith with Diamond Heating came out to inspect my boiler and replace the pressure relief valve in addition to ensuring my expansion tank was working properly. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, he answered all of my questions about my boiler and considering this was an after hours call out the price was better than the other company I've used for my HVAC inspections and repairs. I highly recommend them and will be using them from now on for my inspections and repairs.

Brandon was again pleasant, professional and thoroughly explained the work he did. Anthony was great at getting the job arranged and scheduled. Very pleased with this company!

Diamond Heating has been incredible! Sam in estimates continues to shine in his position and I greatly appreciate the company as a whole. He has a wealth of knowledge in HVAC. They installed a new furnace for me, made the entire process painless. Their tech guys are very knowledgeable and professional. Will always recommend Diamond Heating.
