Jon Q did an annual inspection and cleaning On our boiler system today. He was very professional and courteous. It was a pleasure to work with him.

Abu was very professional, efficient, and left the area he worked in clean. The leak was fixed, despite a few obstacles and the price was fair. Would definitely use this company again.

Raven was very professional, polite and I appreciate how after my estimate, she quickly asked her boss if she could stay and do the job (it was the washer water line box). Very impressed with the quality and speed of the work. They definitely put customer experience high on their list of priorities!

Went with Discount once again for our water heater and furnace install. Very professional and thorough install job by Mike and his team.
Patrick was great getting us quotes and figuring out what we needed. Definitely still recommend them 100%!

Highly recommend Discount Mechanical for all your heating and plumbing needs. Service scheduler was friendly and helpful. Appointment notification system was a great reminder. The technician Brian was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Have used them in the past and will definitely be using them again.

Abu and Ace got my new compression angle stop for my dishwasher installed with no problems. I got a text and phone call that they were on their way, they gave me an estimate and I approved. 30 mins later everything was completed. It was easy and seamless.

I called for help to find a leak somewhere between 2 floors and the garage below; Discount Mechanical was able to schedule time the following day for Abu to come out and start working. He did a great job tracking down the issue while explaining the next step to find it. I’d definitely rate his work and professionalism a 5. I’m posting a 4 only because a more streamlined process between him finding the leak, getting a quote for the repair, and connecting with the office to get the work on the schedule would be helpful, though I do understand their process helps keep the billing transparent.

Abu is very conscientious, third generation plumber over 20 years of experience ! You can’t go wrong with hiring him to do your emergency and maintenance plumbing.

Had a $17k project on my home and had multiple problems with leaking and just a ton of issues. I called Discount Mechanical and they did an initial visit and estimate for replacing a water heater and boiler for free. Had a plumber come out and finished the estimate for the other issues. I called 3 different companies for some of the issues and decided to go with this company because they had the best prices. They did not disappoint. Had a crew of 3-4 people for 2 days that nailed the job perfectly. I had Abu, Daniel, Robin, Mike, and Patrick take care of all these issues. Everything is perfect now. The whole crew was nice and answered any questions we had. I'm glad I went with this company and I will continue to use them for years to come. This is a real review from a real customer.

Our technician Raven was very polite and professional. She was able to diagnose the problem quickly and explained what was wrong by showing us detailed pictures. She took the time to explain everything and was very knowledgeable.

5-Star Plumbing Mayhem: Robin from Discount Mechanical – Heater Hero Saves Four-Plex!

Holy chills, Batman – my four-plex was a frozen apocalypse yesterday (Oct 29th). Tenants turning blue, me chugging cocoa like it's IV therapy. Enter Robin: Plumbing ninja on steroids. Diagnosed the heater's sabotage in seconds, MacGyver'd it with Valhalla-forged tools, and BAM – heat roaring like a dragon by dinner.

Underrated legends. Robin's the GOAT – summon him before your boiler starts a coup. 10/10, tenants toasting his name. 🔥🔧🐐

Called for a small leak behind my washer. They installed other parts that did not fix the leak. They broke a Y connector going from washer to water line and said they can’t fix it since they didn’t install it. Still had to pay full price. Did not fix leak.

Had issue with pipes making a rattling noise. Raven came to diagnose the problem and gave me a few options for the hammering noise. After checking the crawl space found that the pipes were loose and and she gave me the better option of just bracing the loose pipes. Happy with the service.

Trash. Don’t do it. Been calling them since 6 pm and was told there was no wait. Current time is 12pm. No eta text or call. Had to call 3 times and no real resolution. Guess I will call into work tomorrow. Worst service I have ever had to endure. In addition, they claimed they fixed my no heat situation last year…..nope.

Disappointed in this company-
I called for help in fixing a leak in our crawl space. 2 kind young men showed up and at first suggested we just plug the pipe that was leaking- I was stunned by this suggestion. Was it because I was a woman??
The next shocking statement was that this active leak was from the snowflakes falling down a roof pipe!
The next idea was $700 fix to drain that active leak into the sewer line INSTEAD of finding the origin of the leak.
Of course I refused.
A friend came over and with 10 minutes discovered the origin of the leak- a drain under the washing machine. That was an easy fix.
Deeply disappointed in this company.

Can't recommend this business . One of their technicians came by to do an estimate on our furnace with a heating issue . They started to open the valves and checked the whole system. The furnace proceeded to leak water as soon as they left . So basically I paid them to make our situation worse. The stress and time I wasted having to clean the mess up is something I’ll never get back . In order for them to come back, They wanted us pay for parts and service. Disgraceful rip off service .

What an absolute disgrace of a company. From your answering service to your technician to your billing department, every interaction was an insult to basic decency and professional ethics.

I called because sewage water was overflowing from the toilet, the shower and garage. You classified the call as “emergency” to justify inflated charges. Then you sent a technician who refused to even assess the situation until my wife paid $330 upfront. After collecting the money, he informed us he doesn’t unclog drains.

You charged for nothing. No service rendered. No resolution. Just predatory billing and an orchestrated scam targeting people in distress. This is unethical, possibly illegal, and I will not let it stand.

I demand an immediate full refund of $330. If this is not resolved promptly, I will file formal complaints with the state consumer protection agency, the Better Business Bureau, and pursue a credit card dispute. I will also make the details of this transaction publicly known through every appropriate channel.

Your company profits by preying on emergencies. That is theft in everything but name.
